Replacement P-Bus Changer Cable
Our take on the Pioneer CDE-5773by Crutchfield's Charlie Pastorfield
The Pioneer CDE-5773 is a 20-foot replacement IP-Bus changer cable with power and ground leads. The cable has a black 11-pin female connector (plugs into the changer) on one end, and a blue 11-pin female connector (plugs into the Pioneer receiver) on the other end. The power lead has an in-line 2-amp fuse.
This replacement cable works with any Pioneer P-Series receiver and changer (P-Series products have model numbers that contain the letter "P" DEH-P, KEH-P, CDX-P, etc.).
Overview: This cable is a replacement Pioneer IP-Bus changer cable with power and ground leads. One end of the main changer cable has a black 11-pin female connector that plugs into the Pioneer changer. The other end has a blue 11-pin female connector that plugs into the Pioneer head unit. There is a white 3-pin female connector that is attached to the main cable on the changer end. The 3-pin connector plugs into the Pioneer changer and has the power and ground leads. The ground lead branches off and is terminated with a stripped wire end. The power lead, which runs the length of the main cable, has an in-line 2-amp fuse and is terminated with a stripped wire end. A second short wire is also attached to the male bullet connector and is terminated with a stripped wire end.
