Our take on the Pioneer UD-SW200D

When space is limited

Pioneer's compact UD-SW200D subwoofer enclosure will give you great bass in a limited space. At 5-1/2" inches tall, it'll fit in the cab of a pickup truck and many other challenging locations. Built with 5/8" MDF and covered in black carpet, this small sealed enclosure offers an internal volume of 0.15 cubic feet, and its down-firing configuration delivers a deeper sound. Pioneer recommends installing the TS-SW2002D2 8" shallow subwoofer (sold separately) in this enclosure.

  • 5/8" MDF (medium-density fiberboard) with black carpet covering

  • dimensions: 12"W x 5-1/2"H x 9-1/4"D
  • warranty: 1 year

Perfect fit for the Pioneer TS-SW2002D2. Size is small enough to allow many installation options. Particularly like the downward facing sub design with eliminates any worried I had of my cargo damaging the sub.

Pros: Cost, size, looks

Cons: None.

Hands-on research

Product Research

Compatibility: This enclosure is designed for a single Pioneer 8" shallow-mount component subwoofer, TS-SW2002D2 (item number 130TSS2002, sold separately).

Materials: The box is constructed of 5/8" MDF (medium density fiberboard). MDF resists flexing and has anti-resonant qualities.

Design: Complementing the shallow subwoofer, this enclosure provides the smallest sealed box volume recommended for the TS-SW2002D2. The UD-SW200D enclosure will fit under the seat of many vehicles. The exterior is covered with black auto carpet.

Terminals: The spring post wire terminals, located on the side of the enclosure, will accept bare wire (up to 10 gauge), pin connectors, banana plugs, and dual banana plugs. Inside the enclosure, a 14" length of speaker wire is attached to the terminal (bare wire at the other end).

I have a 2014 F150 SuperCab. I put it under the backseat and it fit like a glove. I put it there so that it would be hidden and be close to the channel that holds the trucks speaker wires. [ Delbert  May 09, 2017 ]
This "boom box" fits in sunshine Barbi's bedroom , is so small . It's a joke this one... wasted my money [ ATTILA  May 08, 2017 ]
Yes this will fit without any issues. [ Bret  May 07, 2017 ]
It's probably the smallest 8" shallow sub box on the market and I'm sure there's a couple different locations this box will fit in your truck. If your installing the 8" pioneer sub this no obviously will suffice but if your sub is a different brand you might want to check if this box has enough space for what that sub needs to perform properly.
