Overview

Our take on the Scosche FD1443B Dash Kit

You bought a 2010-up Ford Fusion or Mercury Milan, but its dash console makes it impossible to upgrade the factory radio. This silver Scosche FD1443B dash kit replaces your console, and it's a perfect match for the color, texture, and contours of the dash in your car. It allows you to install an aftermarket double-sized (4" tall) stereo — or a single-sized (2" tall) stereo with a pocket underneath.

Theres gotta be something better

Don from Mt Pleasant, MI on 6/16/2010

This "Double Din" is too small for my Clarion nx409...the radio sits completely behind the dash kit leaving it about 3/4" recessed. It took major modification to get the radio so it was sitting flush with the dash... not something someone with little install experience would enjoy. Also the silver paint is extremely scratch prone... I took it to the body shop after the "modifications" I had to make to get it painted to match the exterior and get a protective clear coat on it... ridiculous price for the quality....
