This Scosche factory dash and wiring kit allows you to install a single-DIN (2" tall) aftermarket stereo in select 2006-up Street Glide and 1998-up Road Glide models from Harley-Davidson. The package includes a mounting plate to trim out your new radio, along with a wiring harness that connects your new stereo to your bike's wiring. The harness will also connect to Scosche's SWI-RC steering wheel control module so you can maintain your factory handlebar audio controls. Warranty: 60 days.

Overview: The Scosche HD7000B, is an aftermarket stereo installation kit for 1996 and newer Harley Davidson touring motorcycles, including Road Glide models. For a seamless installation of an aftermarket head unit, the HD7000B will accommodate ISO side mounting. The kit mounts into the factory location using original factory hardware and also includes the wiring harness with a provision to retain handlebar controls with PAC's SWC interface (541SWIRC, sold separately). The front-panel and mounting brackets are constructed from automotive grade ASA plastic to withstand the elements. The mounting brackets include factory-style brass threaded inserts. The kit also includes stainless steel mounting screws to ensure durability. The kit includes a weather-resistant gasket for cleaner installation on certain apps and also includes small mounting spacers for Road glide installations.

Installation was pretty simple. I have the Strong Arm fairing mounts, so it was a little tight (mounts had to be unbolted at top). This is definitely the best product I could find for the money. Similar products marketed to Harley owners are way overpriced.
