Our take on the Scosche I335 Mini Stereo Cable by Crutchfield's Robert Ferency-Viars
Scosche's I335 stereo mini cable features 3.5-millimeter stereo mini plugs on both ends. It's perfect for connecting your portable audio player to anything with a minijack input, like a car stereo or pair of desktop powered speakers. Length: 3 feet. Warranty: 1 year.
The extension wire i received for connecting my smart phone to my receiver works fine. It was Abe the rep who really knew what I needed.

Hi Barb F, this would be great if you wanted to plug your iPod into your cars aux audio jack. But, for a home receiver you need a stereo mini to RCA adapter plug. I purchased some made by Audio Quest and they come in different lengths and colors to suite your needs. Crutchfield has a good assortment of these. Hope this helped, if you have any other questions just ask. Richard H. Columbus, GA [ RICHARD Jun 16, 2014 ]
Yes it will it works awesome, just Remeber if you have a case on your iPod/iPhone you may need the adapter for that case. But other than that it works awesome as long as your receiver has the aux plug in [ CASSIDY G Jun 13, 2014 ]
Unless you have a bulky case on it, then yes. Still a good cable and has one of the smallest profiles I've seen, so odds are it will work with whatever case you have. [ JASON Jun 13, 2014 ]
If your stereo has a 3.5mm port, then yes, it is commonly referred to as an aux or auxiliary port. It will plug into an iPod. [ RYAN T Jun 13, 2014 ]
