Overview: The Polaroid XS9 is a small action camera with a
2" LCD touch screen display that can record
HD video and 5 MP still images. The camera has a wide-angle lens with a viewing
angle of 120°. It comes with a self-adhesive helmet mount and a
bicycle handlebar clamp mount. The camera also includes a waterproof housing
that allows you to safely use the camera underwater up to a depth of 30'.
Memory Cards: The camera's memory card slot will
accept microSD and microSDHC cards up to 32 GB. Class 6 or higher
cards are recommended. You can view files on the microSD card on the 2" LCD,
through the camera when connected via USB to a computer, or remove the microSD
card and use a card reader to view the files.
4x Digital Zoom: The XS9 has a 120° wide-angle lens with a
4x digital zoom. You can zoom in or out using the + and - buttons on the LCD
screen. The camera zooms from 1.0x to 4.0x in approximately 30 steps.

direction the camera is pointing. You can turn on either light independently, or
both on or off together.
Video Recording: The XS9 records video in the AVI HD video format.
There are two recording modes: HD (1280 x 720/30 fps) for viewing on a TV or VGA

Loop Recording: If you mount the camera to a helmet or onto

Loop Recording. In this mode, the camera will record 5-minute video clips, save
the clip, and immediately record another 5-minute clip. Loop recording will
continue until the power button is pressed to turn off the recording, or until
the battery is exhausted. If the memory card becomes full during Loop Recording,
the camera will begin erasing previously recorded files as it continues.
Still Image Recording: In addition to video recording, the
XS9 can record still images (JPEG) in 5MP (2592 x 1944), 3MP (2048 x 1536), and
1MP (1280 x 720) resolution.

in a list on the LCD screen. Each still image appears with the letters "JPG" in
the display, while video files are listed with "AVI." During video playback, you
can pause, play at normal speed, or play it faster or slower than normal speed.
Files can also be deleted when displayed in the list.
