iPod® audio/video cable for select Sony DVD receivers
Our take on the Sony RC-200IPV by Crutchfield's Ken Nail
The RC-200IPV connecting cable gives you high-speed access to the music and video on your Video iPod or iPhone® through your compatible Sony DVD receiver. One end of the cable plugs into your iPod's dock connector; the other end includes a USB cable and a miniplug video cable, both of which connect to your receiver.
The USB cable handles the control and charging of your iPod, so you can navigate through your music files with the receiver's controls while you view song info on its display. The miniplug connector transfers the video from your iPod to the stereo's video input. Warranty: 1 year.
What's in the Box:
- 36" iPod connector cable (with a proprietary Apple iPod dock connector on one end and a USB type-A connector and composite video connector on other end)
- 19" minijack-to-composite video cable (with a female minijack connector on one end and a male composite RCA connector on other end)
