Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

I depend on quality storage of images. I use Sony equipment and purchasing a Sony SD card seemed like a logical choice. The card is durable and had flawlessly recorded images from my Sony camera and it faithfully uploads to my editing computer. I can't afford to have a "fail" in a professional shoot, so I depend on quality SD cards. This one meets my expectations.

Pros: Durable, Dependable

Cons: There aren't any! :-)

Hands-on research

Product Research

Overview: The Sony SDHC memory card is designed for use with DSLR and other digital cameras and camcorders for storing photos and videos. It can also be used in other devices for storing music, maps, or other digital files.

UHS-I/Speed Class Rating: This memory card is based on the "Ultra High Speed" UHS-I standard, and only UHS-I compliant equipment can operate in the UHS-I mode. UHS-I media captures fast action shooting, and full HD and 3D video. Its UHS-I U1 rating means you can capture approximately 80 high-resolution photos in one minute using continuous shooting mode. This card has an actual read speed of 70 MB/s, based on Sony testing with an SD Association certified testing tool. The write speed is slower. If the device isn't UHS-I compliant, the card will still maintain its Class 10 speed.

Usable Storage: Because a portion of the card capacity is used for system files, the usable storage is 7.2 GB.

Lock Switch: The Sony SDHC memory card has a built-in lock switch to ensure that your files cannot be accidentally deleted or overwritten.

Downloadable File Rescue Software: File Rescue downloadable software helps recover photos and videos that have been accidentally damaged or deleted. You can also download x-Pict Story software from the included link to create customized slideshows from your photos.

Dealing with an installer I counted on his expertise and the Crutchfield name to get quality merchandise. This particular part I chose for map updates for the head unit and to have music stored on it to play on the Pioneer. [ Constance  Mar 01, 2016 ]
