If you're a Pandora® fan with an Android or Blackberry device, that means you can pair your phone to the XAV-64BT for complete Pandora® control without ever connecting a wire. You'll enjoy the convenience of hands-free calling, and you'll have touchscreen access to your phone book once your phone is paired.

Not all Bluetooth is created equal

iPod® and iPhone® control

You can plug your iPod into the receiver's front USB input for direct control and playback of audio files. For video and more, connect your iPod or iPhone into the receiver with Sony's RC-202IPV cable and enjoy playback of video content from your iPod or iPhone, plus view and control compatible apps. Slide a DVD into the front slot to enjoy movies or videos when you're parked, or insert a CD or DVD loaded with MP3, WMA, or AAC music files for hours of audio entertainment.

SensMe™ makes finding music fun

Install the supplied SensMe software on your Windows PC or laptop, and then use it to organize and group the music stored on your iPod or USB memory device. When you're back in the car, just plug your device in, and you'll be able to choose music based on mood, time of day, music type, or even your driving type.

Sophisticated sound controls

Everybody's familiar with the annoying sound of an underpowered factory radio turned up too loud — no such problem with this Sony. Its powerful amp combines with advanced circuitry to make your discs and digital music sound their best. You can adjust the EQ7 7-band equalizer to optimize the acoustics in your vehicle, or use the built-in digital signal processing to enhance the sound of compressed music files.

Great sound for video

Sony's Advanced Sound Engine (ASE) brings your DVD's multi-channel soundtrack to life in your vehicle. The Intelligent Time Alignment system creates perfectly balanced sound, while the Center Speaker Optimizer (CSO) creates a virtual center channel for a true-to-life 5.1 listening experience.

Sony XAV-64BT

Add on to your system

For more listening options, add a Sony HD Radio™ tuner or a satellite radio. If you're putting together a heavyweight system with external amps, you'll appreciate the multiple preamp outputs and built-in high- and low-pass filters.

Want to keep your car's steering wheel audio controls?

In most vehicles, you can use an adapter (not included) to connect your vehicle's steering wheel controls to this Sony stereo. Connect a few wires, then program the adapter for your particular car and the Sony, and you'll retain the convenience of your steering wheel controls.

Unit works great and is better than anticipated! Was originally told that this unit would not fit my vehicle (2004 Nissan Titan) however after a call to Crutchfield found out there was less than 1mm clearance issue. So went ahead and purchased unit and installed. So Glad I Did!

    Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

This was an upgrade to the factory 6 disc changer system in my '03 Explorer. It sounds great on all the audio sources. The call quality on a Bluetooth connection is less than stellar, though. When I playback audio files from my phone the quality is good so it's just something in the microphone audio, apparently. I haven't chased that down much other than rearranging some of the cables to make sure the mic line is being kept away from the other cabling. I've tried about every source except for Pandora and all work great. It sounds great with the factory subwoofer in my Explorer and the hook ups were clear and the documentation from Crutchfield was first rate.

Pros: Flexibility, source selections, I/O variety.

    Cons: Bluetooth outgoing call performance.

Overall a really great unit for the price! Love it. Made my factory speakers sound a MILLION times better. Its amazing.

Pros: Fairly easy to install and set up. Really like the EQ options. Very responsive touch screen. I really like that it has a volume knob instead of being completely touch screen.

Cons: Bluetooth was slightly confusing to set up but we got it and it works great.

First of all, thanks to Crutchfield. Everything I received for this unit is working perfectly. Bluetooth is working fine too. The last thing I need to do is to install a reverse camera and fully utilize the unit. I do wish it reads wmv video files. Other than that, I really enjoy having it.

Pros: Easy to use. Nice picture on screen. USB and AUX in the front.

Cons: Can't read wmv video files.

Installed in on 2005 Lexus RX330 and the quality of music via the OEM speakers is amazing. Added HD Tuner and back-up camera and having a blast. BT streaming is really cool.

Pros: Sound Quality, BT Streaming, build quality, price to value ratio

Cons: HD Radio navigation doesn't allow to save sub stations like HD105.3 - 2. No SEEK HD Radio stations - just traversing from one to the next. BT Phone sometimes doesn't connect to the device and I need to reconnect - this could be my 4 yr old Blackberry phone problem

This is a great unit. In its price range I do not think there would be a better, more powerful, with all of the features. Easy installation. Crutchfield does it right by sending all of the right gear.

Pros: Lots of features. Great price.

Cons: Pandora does not really work well with the iPhone.

This radio has absolutely exceeded my expectations. My phone connects without issue, and for when I do need to interact with the radio the touch screen has been quick and simple. Not much I would change. The sound quality does not appear to be as good. But certainly would not steer me away from purchasing again.

Pros: Ease of use, good interface, BT integration

    Cons: Sounds quality.

    Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

Perfect solution for a 10 y/o truck. After nearly buying two times from a BB retailer, Crutchfield gave me the confidence to make a decision. Bought this Sony DVD player to get the bluetooth and USB inputs and it feels like a new truck! Not really planning on watching movies, but next step is to add a back-up camera for the new teenage driver in the house. Love the features and it was so easy to install, thanks to the documentation and great customer service that advised what was needed. The BB store price inflated with all the extras and install which anyone can do.

Pros: Easy-to-learn display with so many features. Price for a DVD player was great for a trusted name-brand, less than installed price for a simple CD player at BB.

    Cons: None yet!

    Decent unit for the price!

Bryan A. from Everett Wa on 9/9/2014

    Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

Installed this unit myself as well a back-up camera at the same time. This was my first stereo install in about 10 years and it went into a 2012 Kia Sorento. This stereo is a huge upgrade to the factory stereo and for the price you can't beat what you are getting. The touch screen is good, not as good as a tablet but better than a GPS touch screen. I would say it takes about 10-15 seconds for the deck to load upon start up, so not slow but not super fast by any means. The wiring instructions that came with the unit itself are not the best and Crutchfield forgot to send theirs with it, but the wiring harness can only be plugged in one way and all the wire colors match up so I was able to figure it out easily enough. Picture/Video quality on it are very good and DVDs load pretty quick. It switches to the backup camera almost instantly when put in reverse, no lag there so no complaints. It has 4 different background options for the screen, i have not found out yet if you can add more or not but the ones they have are cool enough. Sound quality is good, not as good as a high end unit but much better than my stock radio. My FM Stations seem to come in fine as well, i dont think i lost any signal strength like many people state with aftermarket stereos. It also states the radio station name and the singer/song to, so that was a pleasant surprise. Overall its a great unit for the price, no real issues!

Pros: -Very "cool" upgrade to a stock low end radio. -responsive touch screen. -Decent sound quality -Quick enough startup to suite me. -Fast DVD Load -Decent screen resolution

Cons: -Screen can be hard to see in bright light -it sometimes has to load when going from menu to menu, not a huge issue but i feel it should be a little more fluid than that. -Sony supplied wiring instructions are not the best and crutchfield forgot to supply theirs, still went in easy enough though. -There is a separate reverse wire that you MUST hook up for the back-up camera to work, didn't realize this until i had the car back together and the camera didn't work.

    2011 Mercedes-Benz Sprinter Cargo
    Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

I was looking for an DIY install upgrade to the base factory system in my Sprinter Class B RV that would provide Bluetooth phone and music connectivity and provide a monitor display for a planned install of a backup camera. The Sony fit the bill perfectly. Pandora capability was not a must have but we do enjoy having it. Coupled with the Crutchfield recommended Integration Adapter and Dash Kit the install was a breeze. The adapter provided the necessary CAN interface signals for Reverse (in support of the backup camera operation) and Parking Brake (in support of DVD and Aux video operations). Crutchfield tech support during the install was much appreciated.

Pros: Exact fit and easy integration with our Sprinter. Easy to follow user interface. No unnecessary bells and whistles.

Cons: I rated Sound Quality at four stars. The system is a vast improvement over the factory system but our RV is still just a glorified cargo van. No rear speaker system and no subwoofer. The provided EQ presets do a decent job for our situation.

    Good Product, Fantastic Service

Kenan from Santa Barbara, CA on 7/27/2014

    2005 Toyota Highlander
    Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

The DVD receiver itself is exactly how I thought it would be. There were no surprises. The menus are reasonably easy to navigate, but they could be more intuitive. Some settings require that you do not have any source selected, but it wasn't clear that you actually had to be in "off" mode to make the selections. I bought this unit so that we could listen to music off a USB memory stick, although I would have preferred a Secure Digital card instead. I just didn't find any choices that I liked any better. The best thing by far though is the support I received from Crutchfield. It was the best support I have EVER had from any company. This was the first time I ever dabbled in changing a stereo system in car and each time I had a question I was able to call Crutchfield and get a hold of a technical representative within a minute. I probably spoke with 5 different reps and each time they understood my problem and immediately provided me with a solution. Because I was calling with the same phone number they had all my information up as soon as I reached them. The only time they needed my order number was the first time I called them. It really was superb! I would buy again from Crutchfield just for that quality of service.

Pros: The system is exactly as described in product literature and on the Crutchfield website. Crutchfield support is fantastic. The system does allow you to play music from a USB stick, but the directions say to take the stick out before starting the car each time. That's not really realistic. They should design the system so that you can keep the stick in the socket as long as you want. Also, why not have a microphone in the front?? The mic is installed from the rear of the system.

Cons: I'm not sure why its not possible to simply unplug the factory harness from the old stereo, plug a new adaptor harness into the factory harness and the other of the adaptor harness into the new stereo and be done. A lot of wires still need to be connected, either soldered or using a pigtail or something else. But I suspect this is true of most any after market stereo. Crutchfield did supply a harness for our vehicle, but it still required considerable number of connections that had to be made.

easy install. only problem I ran into was because the screw holes are sunken in instead of being flush with the edge, the mounting bracket had to be modified to get it to attach with the short screws that came with it.

Pros: good sound, good features, ease of install

Cons: not made for a mounting bracket to be easily attached. Screws for mounting are too short for mounting kit.

installed the sony xav64bt about a week ago.wiring was fairly easy, checked with crutchfield tech. rep. just to be safe before in installing in 2005 Impala. works great I was concerned about radio reception from some of the reviews, but it picks up both am and fm stations as good as factory radio.I called sony to help install sens me soft ware. I have all my music on a usb thumb drive.( about 1000 songs) It works great i never know what song is coming up next.,Video screen displays dvd very good.Have not tried the bluetooth or phone yet since I wanted mostly for song collection.

Pros: good sound front usb a plus. Better than average screen display in daylight.

Cons: rds only displays one word at a time. Small volume button. small clock display(but visible)

    Great Head Unit

Bob from Atlanta GA on 5/27/2014

    2006 Honda Pilot
    Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

Picture is great, and the sound is great even with the factory speakers. I love having USB and aux inputs on front. Bluetooth works well although it took about 15 minutes to connect the first time. The software is a little clunky and it seems like a lot of buttons to push to get the radio station I want. You have to select the tuner, then the band, then hit 'preset list' to get to the staion list, then finally select the station. The steering wheel control that used to select the next preset now does a search to the next station instead.

Pros: Great picture, front Aux and USB input, volume control knob (a real knob), lots of inputs for sat radio, camera, etc. Microphone works well. Low price for the features.

Cons: Menu is more complicated than it needs to be. Would be nice if there was a page of user-programmable buttons so you could get the station or input source you want with a single click.

    It works for me

Todd K. from Skiatook, OK on 4/27/2014

I got this unit for about 2/3 of retail on an open box deal. Well worth the money at that price. A little pricey full retail for a unit with no on board NAV. I connected the factory antenna from my '07 Vette and did not notice any degradation from the factory radio, but I listen to radio almost never. Talk radio sometimes, and the unit pulls that in just fine. I installed the unit along with a Kicker CX600.5 full range amplifier. The Sony is easy to set up. It has 2V outputs from front/rear aux and a dedicated subwoofer channel, all nice features. The 2V preamp output is adequate. Sony apparently assumes you'll buy a comparable aftermarket amplifier with lots of wattage. Otherwise, this head unit (like almost any other) is too weak to drive good speakers by itself, especially if you like it loud (above 95dB). My advice if you buy this unit: invest a comparable amount in an aftermarket amp, likewise for quality speakers to replace any of your factory speakers. Otherwise, you won't get everything you should get out of this head unit.

Pros: Front USB, plays 320Kb/48KHz MP3s like a dream, CD quality, no distortion at very high volume levels, 7-band EQ, adequate radio reception, nice display, easy to operate, touch screen, three L/R preamp outputs, dedicated sub channel, front and rear video cam, blue tooth, can be made to work with satellite radio.

Cons: Won't play other compressed format audio like WMA or AICC (says it will but it won't). No support for .WAV files. Doesn't have GPS navigation. Limited choice of screen backgrounds. Volume adjust resets to beginning of MP3 if you bump the control. Won't respond to rapid turning of volume knob to increase/decrease volume.

    Very Pleased

    Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

I've always replaced my factory head units ASAP, but I held out this time. I've always felt FM reception took a nose dive when I put in an aftermarket radio. Seeing as the radio stations around here are horrible (top 40 pop - teeny bopper - top 40 country), I figured no loss. I wanted a front usb and aux in a dvd double din. Got this one scratch and dent and cannot find a blemish on it. I'm so happy I ditched my factory radio. Factory was 15w rms, this on 17w. Seems a HUGE difference, especially with the equalizer. I haven't installed my back-up cam yet, but the pictures are great on the dvd. BT phone calls seem pretty good, just wish there was a gain function for the mic. I don't sound strange, it just doesn't pick up very well unless really close. Now it's time to install a sub.

Pros: Easy to install and use. Good sound quality and equalizer. Crisp picture display.

Cons: BT mic not the best. More backgrounds/themes would be nice - maybe something that is responsive to the audio - I don't suppose an active/visual equalizer would be a driving distraction, but maybe it is. FM song info is limited to too few scrolling characters.

I wanted a unit that would 1) provide a dual din touchscreen, 2) support bluetooth for telephone calls, music (iPhone) and podcasts, 3) provide an AM/FM tuner, and 4) look good with an excellent interface. I got all of that w/ this unit. I purchased the harnesses to allow me to control the unit via my steering wheel. Highly recommend. All in all, I like the unit. It's not perfect, but it is great for my purposes. Recommend.

    Pros: Great all around unit.

Cons: Delay in touching the screen and what it shows/does. A little annoying. I turned off the beep to make it less noticeable.

    Why bother

    Dean from States on 2/19/2014

This deck is the low end of double dins for sure and isn't meant for loud music if that's what you like.

Pros: Kind of looks cool but isn't

Cons: Has 2 volt pre outs, and it's an expensive deck. There are 200$ decks out there with 4-5volt pre outs and it makes all the difference in sound quality. I can barely turn my stereo up without it distorting and I'm running full hertz speakers with a separate mono block amp running 2 infinity perfect 10s. I took it out and installed my original alpine deck with 4v preouts and it's night and day even untuned.

    Not your average user

    Mattman from Maryland on 2/13/2014

    Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

I titled this review "Not your average user" because I don't have a smart phone, I don't use Pandora, I don't have any apps, etc... What I do have is about 40 gigs of music I've purchased over the years, and my goal was to put much of it as possible on a flash drive and use the USB port on the front of the unit. First I looked into the max recognizable flash drive size. Turns out the unit doesn't care about the size, but the limitation comes in number of files and folders. I figured I'd be fine with a 32 gig drive and loaded it to about 29. Wasn't entirely correct. It won't see the later folders on the drive, and some folders that it does see come up empty, when I know there are files in there. So, if you have a massive bank of music, you're going to need multiple drives. If you've got, say, 15 gigs of music you likely won't max out the folder OR file count. In case there are any other weirdos out there who personally own music...keep this in mind. Otherwise, the unit is very nice! Sound is great, though not terribly loud. I am running a sub with one of my pre-outs and it works very nicely. Sounds great when movies are watched!! The EQs work well, as does the listening position optimization effects. Screen info when listening to radio is a bit lacking. Not very many characters display. When playing a CD or music file though, you get a full read-out of song name, number, CD name, etc. Screen resolution and clarity are beautiful! Very bright!

Pros: Sound quality, ease of use, screen quality, front USB, easy installation, great sound customization features, looks very nice! Haven't used bluetooth yet, but the unit has it!

Cons: Plastic surround that it came with is a little cheap looking, wish it could recognize more files via USB, more display info when using radio, would be nice to have 3 sets of amp pre-outs, but for the price of the unit 2 is still very good!

    Sony didn't disappoint

This unit is a great value! Picture quality is excellent. Only issue I had was during day light, screen is a little hard to see. The sound quality is great (although I did get the Scosche CNN03 Factory Integration Adapter with it). Major boost from my BOSE system in my G35 Sedan.

Pros: Screen quality/resolution is great. Sound quality excellent.

Cons: Pandora not working from built-in app, screen difficult to see during daylight.

I have been eyeballing Double DIN touchscreens since before I bought my truck. I kept coming back to this one because it had ALL the features I wanted. This is the first non-Kenwood stereo I have bought since I started buying stereos because I have always had great luck with them. The selling factor that got me to try this Sony was the front USB port (Kenwood only offers rear USB for their comparable touchscreens). I was a little hesitant to buy just because I have always been a Kenwood guy but I do not regret it at all. The stereo has excellent sound quality and is very easy to use. I have only had it in my truck for a few weeks but can already tell I am going to enjoy this stereo for a long time.

Pros: Easy to use, great sound quality, great expandability options, price

Cons: Wish it had more background images or the ability to upload your own background image. Wish there was an option to increase the size of the album art on the screen during playback.

Good unit. Replaced original unit in wife's 2007 Pontiac Torrent that loved to eat CDs. Bought on sale that made it a great value. Sounds great. Pandora is awesome via an Android phone. Easy install with the PAC RP4-GM31. Only con so far is the tuner. Sounds great on the 1 local station but not so great with station 30+ miles away. I'll recheck antenna connections and repost if that was the problem.

    Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

I got this unit while it was on sale and it was a great value at the sale price. It appears to be well built. The screen is very nice and clear. The aux input in the front works great with my XM Skyfi 2 receiver. Bluetooth works very well with my phone. Phone reception quality is clear and people who have received my calls have noticed very little background noise or none at all. Controls are easy to figure out and intuitive. The FM and AM tuner are very good. A couple of downsides would be the small clock display, but that's a minor nitpick and the lack of built in HD radio capability without spending more money for an outboard tuner. But I knew that going in. It would also have been nice to be able to add your own background pics. Installation tool awhile but went smoothly with Crutchfield's great instructions. Just took our time. Since this was installed in a 2013 Honda Fit, don't forget to connect the blue wire from the antenna adapter to the unit or your radio reception will be lousy. In summary, this is a nice radio for the money that sports excellent sound quality and some great features. Recommended.

Pros: Bluetooth phone calls. Sound quality. Display. Nice looking. Expandability. Front USB and aux input.

Cons: Small clock. No built HD radio.

    Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

Original head unit shipped with a defective CD/DVD drive, so the Crutchfield team were able to flex their superlative customer service skills to get me a replacement as fast and as easy as can be (so kudos to Crutchfield there!). The installers were very professional and did a good job using the installer service purchased through the Crutchfield team, so that gets a thumbs up too. However, the unit itself doesn't seem to take full advantage of the display it has. The visual options are weak when compared to Pioneer or JVC options, so that's a Sony fail. Also, it might be nice to have a USB port on the back of the unit, so iPhone connectors can be hidden behind the dash, so that is another Sony oversight. Finally, the Pandora doesn't work with iPhone but does for Blackberry?!?! I think the engineering team at Sony were born in the 50's. :(

Pros: Sound is impeccable! I never knew stock speakers could do what this head unit makes them do! The PSE makes it feel like there is a real sub-woofer in the car - amazing!

Cons: UI is weak and iPhone4S compatibility is a farce.

I've had a few weeks to play with my new receiver. I absolutely love it! Very easy to navigate pages and menus. Also, Bluetooth setup and pairing was absolutely simple with my iPhone 5. As for using the Bluetooth for talking on the phone, it does a decent job. I've had people on the receiving end tell me they hear like a wind noise. Oh well. Installation on my 07 Classic Silverado was fairly straight forward with the provided mounting kit. Thanks Crutchfield!

This Sony seems to be a really good product. I mated it with a Suburban and included the back-up camera and all adapters for integration. All functions are seamless and quality is good. After having this in my Ford Explorer for the past month, I can only say I wish I had chosen to swap out my factory 6 disc changer sooner. This unit has a great video display and the sound is awesome. Unfortunately, the Sirius side of this equation, to put it quite bluntly, is a big disappointment. You expect better from Sony. However, the added cost of the Sony-Sirius interface coupled with the 8 character display was enough to warrant boxing up this sorry-Sony and shipping it back for a better unit. Oh, let's not forget the tiny clock display--we're talknig numerals that were barely visible during the evening let alone during daylight hours. So, what's great about this Sorry-Sony experience? The Crutchfield team is what ROCKS! My customer support associate suggested the Pioneer AVH-X3500BHS head unit. This unit is SiriusXM ready; so, I only had to purchase the Sirius tuner and i was ready to roll. Talk about value--that's a review I will gladly rate at 5 stars! Oh, and I took the Sales guy's advice and picked up a couple of packs of posi-connectors--no more soldering for me. Hated the Sony--Love the Pioneer--Love Crutchfield Tech and Customer support!

On top of the radio randomly power cycling out of no where in different functions, the SAT radio display is HORRIBLE!!! My factory radio with SAT has a better display. How sad is that?!?!? Sony really screwed up on this one. I can only hope they have a firmware update or something for this. You can only see like 8 characters of info, then it scrolls. Then you have to press the DSPL button to view other info like artist, track name, channel name, channel number, etc. The Pandora and other features are nice, but if anyone is going to listen to SAT radio and shell out the bucks for it, THIS IS THE WRONG UNIT TO GET!!!! Mark my words, and normally I wouldn't even post a review, but this has been driving me nuts! I'm about to get a separate SAT tuner and hook it to a AUX input....idk what to do. Unfortunately, I missed the exchange/return policy time frame of only 60 days, so I'm stuck.

    Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

Nice unit if you don't have a Sirius Tuner. I've had it a week, installed easily in a Toyota Tacoma, although the supplied mounting screws were too short for the Metras installtion kit. Haven't used it for video yet, but AM, FM tuner is fine. mp3 files on a USB stick playback nicely (with embedded Album Art even!) although it wouldn't take a 16gb stick. 8gb worked fine. Bluetooth streamed audio perfectly from my wi-fi Samsung tablet. However... the Sirius interface is unbelievably bad. The Sony code jockeys went to sleep when the wrote that part of the firmware. A six inch wide screen and the Sirius playback data is 8 characters at a time squeezed into a one inch box. But the Sirius tuner does work well so I'll stop complaining in a few weeks as I get used to it. (I hope)

Pros: Decent audio, plays embedded album art from mp3's on a USB stick. AM/FM tuner OK. Bluetooth streaming from wi-fi android tablet

Cons: Sirius tuner interface. Unbelievably bad.

    Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

So this is the first car radio I've bought in over 10 years, so you can understand my excitement with all the new technology integrated into this unit. I decided to upgrade the original unit and CD player in my 2001 Subaru Outback and I could not be any happier. The installation instructions provided by Crutchfield made the wiring process very simple and clear. The installation in my car was a piece of cake. My car came factory double DIN, and the head unit looks like it belongs in my car with no mods. I've tried many of the options and they all seem to operate correctly as advertised. I love the blue tooth! It connects with my Blackberry phone immediately upon activating the radio. The streaming audio from my Blackberry phone is great. The blue tooth phone connection seems ok. I think I may have to move the microphone for better audio quality for the caller on the other line. I've tried the streaming pandora audio, but it seems to be lagging. I get about 5 or 6 secs of music and then it pauses for about 2 secs and then repeats the process. Not sure what this all about as I have not had time to troubleshoot. This seems to be a connection problem between Pandora and my phone, not between the phone and the unit. Played one DVD on the unit and it operated well. This radio had everything I was looking for in an affordable package. Got my radio in 2-days. Bought the scratch and dent model for less and it had a minor blemish that you can't see. Have not tried USB yet.

Pros: --Easy wiring and installation --Unit is fairly intuitive as far as controls are concerned. If you can operate your computer you can operate the function tree in this radio --Makes even my stock speakers sound better --Touchscreen is responsive and accurate --It's upgradeable and can handle Sirius (with tuner) and XM radio --You can add a rear camera

Cons: --Wish the microphone was integrated into the unit. Purchasing the unit I knew the microphone was not integrated, but I do not like having to run wires. WIth that said, I do not know the difference in sound quality compared to an integrated microphone to a wired microphone. --Again, I knew this going into the purchase, but I wish it had a detachable face --Again, I knew this going into the purchase, but it would be nice to connect my Sirius radio without the tuner.

So far, so great! I purchased this as a replacement radio for my Girlfriend's car because her radio had a jammed CD issue and the dealership wanted $650.00 to install a replacement. So, for HALF that cost, I purchased this radio on sale, that upgraded her current radio to a Touchscreen WITH Bluetooth and had it installed within an hour! The longest time took me splicing the wires between the harness adapter and the manufacturer plug, but that was a breeze! They make things so easy when everything is color-coded... match white to white, etc... THANK YOU CRUTCHFIELD and SONY!

Pros: Customizable back screen, easily installed, touch screen, bluetooth, and HD radio!

    Cons: none.

So what a great Xmas present 2013- thanks to my wife doing thorough research. I have had this unit installed for 2 weeks now- I absolutely love it! After reading some of the reviews I was little worried. But most of the issues seem to be user related and not issues with the XAV64BT! First the Pandora Radio feature works perfectly. Some of the reviews claim it to be slow or not working and this is most likely due to the reason is because most people are using the free Pandora app. The free Pandora app will intermittently display a pop-up advertisement, that will not display on the XAV64BT, but in the app from the smartphone which it is streaming, an add will delay starting a song! This will delay a song from starting for at least 20 seconds. If you purchase the annual Pandora "no advertising" service for $36, it will stream flawlessly- it is awesome! Bluetooth works great for my Droid X2. My wife's iPhone 5 is sketchy, due to the new Bluetooth format "". Sound quality is great. The unit has more features than more expensive units and is easy to learn and use. The Sirius display is awful, but at least it is integrated in the unit and you do not have to use an FM modulator- makes it worth it.

Pros: The sub option that will use rear speakers as a sub

Cons: No navigation option via Bluetooth......the XAV64BT seems so integrated with Bluetooth, it's a crime we can't stream google maps or youtube...

Installed about a 2 weeks ago and have been using it paired with a Windows Phone (Lumia 920). Works beautifully. This unit really won me over with the Voice Dial feature. when you tap the Voice dial button on the unit, Windows Phones recognizes it as Holding down the windows logo to activate the Hands Free Voice features to send a Text message to a contact, or call a contact. This was a HUGE plus for me. Also if you set up the phone you can respond to incoming text messages without touching your phone. The mic seems to work very well and has sensitivity options but right now is set on default. the phone and callers understand me well. Listening to music via BT is great once paired just hit play and stream music on your phone with controls! Metro radio (Pandora radio) works well too I can change tracks and see track info on the radio. Contact Photos...not sure how this feature is supposed to work...currently they don't show up on the radio I'm guessing cause I choose to pull photo data from Facebook and not locally on the phone ( but I have not tested this theory ) but since I have voice dial... the radios address book and photos don't matter to me. All in all I really like the radio the only thing that kept this from being a perfect 5 stars is lack of support for Windows Phones app ect.

Pros: Works great with Windows Phone voice system / Nice clear screen / Gesture controls to change music

Cons: Can't customize wallpapers / Only stores 1 paired BT device at a time / no Contact photos / no Album art via BT

Just installed this unit today. It's bluetooth paired with an Iphone5. The touchscreen is vivid, intuitive, clear and fast. The unit performs most features, functions and adjustments extremely well. The sound quality is awesome. I hear stuff in songs that I've never heard before. Overall, I'm certain this unit is best in class. Okay, the negatives or challenges. Some mentioned the USB. As mentioned, my setup is BT and iphone 5, so I won't be using the aux or USB. Nonetheless, I tested them, just to make sure they were working. Upon doing so, I found that when USB connected, the volume couldn't be adjusted. Also found the USB cover port to be kinda' flimsy and a bit of work to open and close. The next issue was voice dialing. The unit prompts for the name of the person you'd like to call, then Siri (iphone voice recognition and assistant) appears and it goes downhill from there. So far, when voice dialing to make a phone call, the best it can do is to pull up multiple guesses from my contact list on my phone. Checked the mic. It's connected properly and working. Will review the manual and if necessary, call Sony, with the hopes of a fix.

Pros: Display, sound, functions, features and adjustments.

Cons: Voice dialing, USB port cover, piano black bezel, disabled volume control while in USB mode and 17 watts RMS.

I did get this deck, seems like a good value. Had it for a couple weeks now. I mainly use my phone to play plain bluetooth audio. Works great, no complaints. Wish it showed the track info, but not the deck's fault. Pandora using bluetooth to my Android phone works fine. Little quirk where sometimes it plays Pandora through the BT audio and the deck isn't controlling the amp. Can't tell if thats the deck's fault or my phone's. Not a big issue for me though. Tried a DVD and xvid video, no problems with either one.

Got this unit and was really excited to install it in my Civic. Finally when I did, I realized something. This was better than I had thought. Bypassing the parking break wire so my passengers can watch movies on long trips is a real bonus. The bluetooth capability is really helpful so I don't have to have a million wires in my car to plug into the system so it looks cleaner. The listening position feature really does help you immerse yourself in the music by focusing all the sound on one seat. The EQ is pretty nice when compared to the factory unit. The fact that it has the capability to let you talk on your phone is also helpful where before, I was plugging my aux cord into my phone and the person on the other side would always get a really bad echo. The clarity of the screen is top of the line which makes seeing any information, even when the dimmer mode is on, very easy to see. Bought this unit when it was on sale and got everything for 315.That includes the adapters and harness. If I were to get it anywhere else, it would have run me somewhere in the ballpark of 500 bucks. Crutchfield was EXTREMELY helpful with any questions that I had and I immediately got through to a representative. If you're going to buy a unit, I highly suggest this one. If you're going to buy it from anywhere, buy it from Crutchfield. You'll never have a problem with them!

    Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

I've only had the unit for a couple days but have already run into a few things that make me question buying this unit and may require a replacement or a return. 1) People calling me are getting back feedback on the phone when I'm connected via bluetooth. I don't have this problem on the other Sony Deck that was installed (Sony BT-4000P) 2) The USB port works great but when you power the car down and restart it, the usb files system doesn't save your place on where you were when playing the song. This is a big issue for me since I play a lot of audiobooks. My other sony deck did this automatically and it only seems logical that this more expensive complex deck should as well. 3) The deck storing bluetooth devices has kind of an odd way of repairing a phone that wasn't the last one used that is sort of counter intuitive. Really not the best interface. The sound quality of the deck is excellent and the menu system is pretty easy to use. They could have made the main screen and navigating to the deck options a bit easier.

Pros: Great sound, easy setup, good display and easy to navigate menu system.

Cons: Feedback on calls with bluetooth on phones, does not save place when playing music/audio from a USB stick, somewhat annoying re-pairing setup if you phone wasn't the last one used/paired.

Nice. Crutchfield are the best helping out! Combined with Pac Rp4-ch11 so I can change functions through the steering wheel on a 2012 Dodge Challenger.

Pros: + Easy to make the installation connections. + Easy to navigate. + Pandora without commercials. + Works with my Android (LG Gx2) bluetooth: phone, audio streaming, and Pandora works great. + Accesses you phone book.

Cons: - Not upgradeable to add GPS. - Had to cut some off the inside of my 2012 Dodge Challenger to fit. - USB can be slow sometimes, but you get used to. - Voice recognition is off. - Adding your own background image or upgrading the theme. They are pretty boring. - Chinese cheap radios have nicer icon buttons than this radio. - Wishing they had put the monitor off screen button on more screens. I have to navigate to the main menu or top menu to get to that function.

    Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

I bought this double din unit for my wife's 2007 Honda Odyssey van. The the main reason for this purchase was to wirelessly play Pandora via bluetooth from our iPhones instead of paying for XM radio every month. I also didn't want to mess with hooking a cable up every time I got into the car - mission successful. It took less than an hour to install and it sounds great. There are a few things to note: 1) Wireless Pandora connect does NOT work with iPhones (I knew this because I read the description unlike the other reviewer). Pandora will play back using bluetooth audio (via A2DP). A2DP will display Pandora song/author information and you can pause/play and skip songs. However, via A2DP, you cannot do the thumbs up/down or display cover art. If you hook it up via the usb cable, it will display the cover art. Now all we have to do is get into the car & hit play on the unit - pandora will start playing. I cannot speak Pandora connect for Android/Blackberry. 2) I bought the Metra Axxess ASWC Universal Steering Wheel Control Interface and it easily recognized my car and head unit. It was a very easy install. 3) The parking brake lead does not need to be pulsed to view video, so you do not have to buy a separate bypass unit. Use this information responsibly. I ordered from Crutchfield because of reputation and they were comparable in price and also came with the free mounting plate, harness connector, and antenna adaptor, which would have cost $30 bucks or more

Pros: 1) Giant, beautiful, & responsive screen 2) Good microphone quality for phone calls 3) Straight forward menus and setup 4) Great sound quality 5) Reasonable cost for a double din DVD player

Cons: 1) It will only remember one BT device at a time. Each time I want to use the car after my wife and reverse, we have to re-pair. Some of the other units will remember more than one device at a time. 2) The phone book dial presets do not display the persons name or number. I forget who is in "preset 1" or "preset 2" 3) There are changeable backgrounds (pro), but you can't upload your own (con). 4) Pandora connect only works for Android and Blackberry (con), but A2DP works (pro) - see above

    Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

I have a Motorola Droid Bionic with bluetooth enabled and pandora app running on the phone. This head unit seamlessly connects to play music I have saved on memory stick, music playing from my Amazon Cloud player app, and Pandora. Probably the best feature of all with Pandora is that you don't see the advertisements at all on your Sony display. If I just play Pandora on my phone by itself the whole darn screen is covered by ads to the point you can't read the song names. Integration with OnStar (if you buy the adapter) and hands free dialing with the phone itself are both entirely seamless and work just as you would expect them to. Technically this is a really good unit, but its weakest areas are on the user interface. For example, there is a message that comes up when you start the car to say "don't use this while driving. press OK to accept". It doesn't do it every time you start the car, but often enough to be really irritating. If I use Pandora while driving and then hop out of the car. When my wife gets in to drive the stereo immediately wants to go back to where it was with Pandora. The only screen prompts are "connect to pandora app" or "go to BT screen". Neither of those is what she wants and it isn't clear how to get to what she wants- the CD player. The simple addition of a 3rd touch screen button that says "Pick another audio source" would solve all the problem.

Pros: Pandora and full integration with an Android based phone. Wonderful sound and lots of adjustment options for your listening needs.

Cons: The lawyer button. The clock text size is way too small for easily glancing at while driving. User interface not easily navigated through

Great head unit! Installed in my Element for use while camping etc. Sits a lil recessed in the dash highly recommended the remote. With the help of the Crutchfield staff I can still use my factory sub and amp. Great picture quality a lil confusing trying to shuffle songs when using the iPod touch. Bluetooth works way better then the Pioneer deck I have installed in my work truck. I love this unit although I wish it had a rear usb input instead of the front would make the whole thing look a lot neater and cleaner then having a wire hanging out of the front of it. Plays video from my iPod which is pretty freaking sweet too. will be installing a back up cam as well its nice that the option is there. All in all a wicked sweet unit at an awesome price and my kids love it when we are camping out.

Pros: +picture quality +sound +blue tooth is clear +able to play iPod video

Cons: -only one usb input in front -volume knob is a bit small -background images are lame (wish you could import your own) -some sort of nice graphic equalizer would be nice

I installed this unit a few days ago and so far I love it. Installed and set it up in my 05 Silverado in about 2 hours and only had to refer to the manual a couple times. I found the Bluetooth a little dificult to get working but once working it has been flawless. I love the display but I notice a bit of a glare on my way home this afternoon. The Pandora interface is works good but a little slow on start up though that's an issue with my phone (DROID X) not the Sony. All in all a great unit and I will be buying another for the wifes car in a few months.

Pros: Bluetooth interface works very good. USB, display and DVD playback

Cons: The only thing I could come up with is the Pandora being alittle slow but that's probably more to do with the phone.

Originally looking at the 601, I settled for the xav64 for the price and it had all i was looking for to upgrade my 2004 Avalanche stock stereo(maybe get the mirror link next time). Great deal on a super radio. Unlike the other reviews it seems to work great with my Droid Bionic, the bt audio is great. I stream Sirius through my phone and have the GPS going the same time and its flawless. Pandora seems to be a problem to others but i don't care about it so its not a factor to my rating. install direction were clear to me although i had to use support to figure i had an amp connection i missed. Crutchfield support rocks!! radio to me sounds great and easy to navigate through the different screens. With the gmos addition i can use my steering wheel controls. Screen is bright and clear, easy to see even in bright daylight. If i wanted to be picky the only bad thing is that when you use the 4gb jump drive they give you to slideshow some pics i haven't found a way to play music as the pictures are going by. Like i said that would be nitpicking. Also, the mic for the bluetooth needs to be run up to the visor, no biggie. If your looking for a easy to use double din radio without gps that sounds great and has a lot of features for the money, you cant go wrong with this one.

Pros: Easy to use, bluetooth works great with my droid bionic, streaming is great, screen bright and clear. lots of goodies for the price. great sound

Cons: the only thing, a wired mic for the bluetooth.

    Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

I purchased this deck because I wanted to be able to use Pandora and my iPod touch. The sound quality is not as good as my factory deck and I have played for hours with the settings. The corvette has a factory amp, with the GMOS-04 harness you can plug into the amp using the Sony deck. Essentially letting you use the factory amp but gaining all the feature of the Sony deck. So sound quality if you are using the deck may be better this might just be an interface issue with the corvette amp. However I have another issue I can get Pandora to work but not properly. Using my wife's iphone it will play Pandora threw the usb but it will not allow you to launch Pandora on the deck. So you loose the feature of thumbs up or down and playlist selection. I have an android phone which this deck claims will work threw a usb with Pandora forget it. Crutchfield tech support has had me reset the deck about 10 times now and it still does not work at all. I am sending this back and going with a Kenwood.

Pros: Easy to navigate threw the features

Cons: Pandora does not work correctly and this is a reoccurring theme as I read other reviews. It also does not work with android phones.

    Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

I have not used any thing like the Sony. My impression is purely based on my only experience with the unit I bought from Crutchfield. First, Crutchfield support staff was very helpful in providing assistance over the phone. I am glad I bought the unit. However, there are a few things that are annoying. For example, while the touch screen is accurate and responsive, many of the control icons (e.g., skip, play, etc.) are still too small to be safely and quickly activated/touched. I still have not figured out how to control/connect Pandora. I'm sure it is doable but I have not figured it out yet. The unit tells gives me instructions but I still get no connection with Pandora on my iPhone 4S. Also, if the unit is on, my Toyota sequoia power antenna would be up, even when FM radio/tuner is not selected. This is not a good thing, especially in the winter when ice and snow can block the antenna or damage it. I used the brackets that came with Toyota's factory installed JBL audio system. Unfortunately I had to do some adjustment for the Toyota Sequoia 2001 SR5 bracket to be mounted on the Sony unit. Specifically, one screw hole on each bracket had to be expanded so that a screw can be aligned and fit. That took an extra 30 minutes using a dremel tool and a grinding stone attachment.

Pros: Nice clear screen that is responsive. Nice audio quality.

Cons: Many commonly used control icons are too small. No separate antenna control. The Sony unit's mounting holes for use with Toyota Sequoia's mounting bracket are not in alignment with the screw holes on the brackets. Cheap plastic feel on the contron buttons next to the volume knob.

Bluetooth Profiles: In order to use Bluetooth wireless technology, your phone must also be Bluetooth compatible and be able to interpret certain profiles. This unit is compatible with the following Bluetooth Profiles:

    • Hands-Free Communication: HFP (Hands Free Profile), PBAB (Phone Book Access Profile), OPP (Object Push Profile).
    • Audio Streaming: A2DP (Advanced Audio Distribution Profile), AVRCP (Audio/Video Remote Control Profile).

Pairing: Up to 9 phones or audio devices can be registered with the XAV-64BT (only one device can be used at a time). The unit can be set to automatically reconnect to the last connected Bluetooth device when the ignition is turned on. Due to the differences in Bluetooth technology, some Bluetooth enabled devices may be incompatible, function improperly, or may not support all features when used with the Sony XAV-64BT. Please visit Sony eSupport for a complete list of compatible Bluetooth enabled phones.

External Microphone: The MEX-BT400P includes an external microphone to carry on your side of your phone conversation and voice command dialing. The external wired microphone offers improved audio quality versus an integrated microphone, so you can be heard easier over noisy traffic and road noise. You can adjust the level of the microphone without affecting the other sources. The external microphone features an attached 12' cable terminated by a right-angle 3.5mm connector which plugs into the mic input on the rear-panel of the head unit. The microphone comes with a mounting bracket which can be clipped to your vehicle's sun-visor or taped to your dash. The external microphone measures 0.465" (diameter) x 1.425" (depth). There is no integrated front-panel mic.

Hands-Free Communication: The Sony XAV-64BT supports Bluetooth hands-free communication for your Bluetooth enabled cell-phone. Bluetooth hands-free communication helps to minimize distraction while driving by allowing you to control your mobile phone from the head unit, so you don't have to touch your mobile phone. The controls of the XAV-64BT can be used to dial a number, answer an in-coming call, or end a call. The unit also features an external microphone (featuring adjustable gain), so you can carry on your side of the conversation while listening to the caller through your vehicles speakers. During a conversation, you can switch between the Private Mode (talking directly on your cell phone) and the Hands Free Mode.

    • Answering Calls: Incoming calls can be answered manually or automatically (between 3-10 seconds) through the Sony head unit, while the ring tone is output from your car speakers and the caller's name or phone number is displayed on the head unit's LCD. Incoming calls can also be rejected if desired.
    • Dialing a Number: Using the XAV-64BT, you can dial a phone number in one of the following ways.
      • Entering Phone #: Allows you to manually dial a phone number using the unit's touchscreen.

      • Voice Dial: You can make a call using the voice tags stored on your connected cellular phone.

SMS Indicator: The SMS indicator informs you of any incoming or unread SMS messages on your paired Bluetooth-enabled smartphone. You will still need to view the text message from your phone, as well as create and send text messages from your phone.

Wireless Audio Streaming (with Meta Data Display): The Sony XAV-64BT also supports wireless audio playback (AD2P) and control (AVRCP) of a Bluetooth enabled audio player or smartphone. The XAV-64BT will be able to control your stored music's basic playback functions; such as Play/Pause, Previous/Next Track, Fast-Forward/Reverse, and Shuffle/Repeat. The head unit will also display your stored music's song information; such as Artist name, Song title, and Album label. The XAV-64BT also supports audio streaming of music apps (such as iHeartRadio, SiriusXM, Rhapsody, & Slacker) , but without control or metadata. You will continue to use your Bluetooth enabled smartphone to view and control streaming music apps. When an incoming call or outgoing call is in progress from your Bluetooth enabled mobile phone, audio streaming will be paused so you can take your call. Once the call is finished, your streaming music will resume.

Volume Adjustment: You can adjust the volume level of your paired Bluetooth audio device from -8 to +18dB to match volume level output of other sources.

SensMe actually looks at the beats-per-minute and automatically groups your music (stored on your windows-based computer) into channels, making listening and managing all of your content even simpler. Once you have downloaded & used the SensMe software to organize your PC's music, you can then transfer that music to your USB device (Not iPod/iPhone) for playback on the Sony head unit. You can select & play a channel that fits your mood from the following categories.

    • Time of Day: Tracks are recommended for each time of day. Choose from Morning, Daytime, Evening, Night, or Midnight.
    • Music Type: Plays tracks according to the music type. Choose from Energetic, Relax, Upbeat, Mellow, Lounge, Emotional, Dance, and Extreme.

The XAV-64BT also supports Repeat (Track/Album) & Shuffle (Album) playback modes.
    • Passenger App Control: The Passenger App control mode allows you to control stored audio/video content from your connected iPod/iPhone's clickwheel or touchscreen. This is very useful for the person riding in your passenger seat. VThe iPod Passenger mode also lets you listen to your favorite music apps, such as iHeartRadio, SiriusXM, Rhapsody, & Slacker streamed to your iPhone (iOS 3.0+) through the Sony head unit and your vehicle's speakers. You can even watch video on the Sony DVD receiver's touchscreen from streaming movie apps, such as Netflix & YouTube, downloaded on your iPhone 4/4S (iOS 4.0+), via the Sony RC-202IPV iPod cable (sold separately). Video can only be accessed when the vehicle is in park and the hand-brake is fully engaged. Not all apps will be compatible, and you will continue to control all app functions via your iPhone's touchscreen.

Note: Access to your iPhone's downloaded applications will depend on the availability of a cellular and/or WiFi network for purposes of allowing your iPhone to connect to the Internet.

Music Information: The multimedia head unit will display your iPod/iPhone's stored music file information; including Track number, Elapsed playing time, Song Title, Artist/Album Name, and Album Art. The head unit will not display metadata information from streamed music apps; in this case head unit only displays the message "Passenger App Control". You will continue to view song/artist information from music apps on your iPhone's touchscreen.

Charging: The head unit's USB connection provides 1A of current to power and charge your connected iPod/iPhone when your vehicle's ignition switch is set to the 'ACC' or 'On' position. Yes Walter that helps a lot! Thank you! [ Mikewil  Nov 07, 2014 ]
Mike- I have the XAV-64BT in my Xterra, and the DVD playback is based on the parking brake. The video only plays when the parking brake is engaged. If it is playing when you release the parking brake, the audio continues but the screen blacks out. Hope this helps. [ WALTER  Nov 07, 2014 ]
I forwarded your question to an Advisor and they responded with the following: You would want to use 4ohm impedence speakers. They will work perfectly. If you would like to discuss further you can contact an Advisor directly by phone (1-800-324-9695) or online chat. [ Krissy  Oct 06, 2014 ]  Staff
You will want to contact an Advisor by phone (1-800-324-9695) or online chat to discuss compatibility with your factory system. They will be able to pull up your vehicle and see if this will integrate. If it does not, then they will also be able to discuss other options with you. [ Krissy  Sep 21, 2014 ]  Staff
    I have not tried this function. [ BRIAN  Sep 08, 2014 ]
You cannot with an iPhone. I wouldn't think with an Android either. [ TED  Sep 08, 2014 ]
No, it's just for audio and making calls. Pandora is the only phone app that it has a designated screen for. [ Jeff B.  Sep 08, 2014 ]
Not video but audio will go through system and interrupt Pandora or Bluetooth music streaming but not if using disc. It works well. [ TANIKA N  Sep 08, 2014 ]
I forwarded your question to an Advisor and they responded with the following: "Best" will depend upon a number of variables, but my go-to camera is the Clarion CC510 mounted using the Clarion CAU001. It has a reasonable 150 degree field of view (horizontal), good low level performance, and it includes distance lines, which many cameras do not. They are not user adjustable, but better to have lines to reference from than nothing. It also comes with 31.5 feet of cabling, so no problems reaching the head unit on nearly any current passenger vehicle. The mount makes it look more like an OEM piece, and is nice, though not necessary. If you would like to discuss further you can contact an Advisor directly by phone (1-800-324-9695) or online chat. [ Krissy  Aug 26, 2014 ]  Staff
What if my car is standard? Will I not be able to use the DVD player? [ Mikewil  Nov 07, 2014 ]
Yes. The DVD player will play to remotely connected screens while in drive. The screen on the device will only display video while the vehicle is in park though. [ Jeff  Aug 22, 2014 ]  Staff

Yes hook up to the rear rca connections [ JOSEPH  Jul 07, 2014 ]
so how many amps could be hooked up to this unit? [ chase  Jul 05, 2014 ]
    Yes [ LEE  Jul 04, 2014 ]
Yes, reference pages 43,44 and 51 of the manual. I do not have a sub hooked up to mine however. It's been a good unit for me. Only thing missing is an SD card slot. Bluetooth with an iPhone 4 works great. [ ROBERT  Jul 04, 2014 ]
Yes Chase you can hook up subs to it, I have two 12" keenwood subs 2000w on my car with this head unit. Hope this helps, it's a great unit. [ JOSHUA L  Jul 03, 2014 ]
Absolutely! This unit has a dedicated subwoofer rca preout- and includes lots of adjustable settings just for these outs-- inlcuding phase and crossovers [ MIKE  Jul 03, 2014 ]
    Yes. It has two outputs; front & rear/sub. [ JOHN R  Jul 03, 2014 ]
I forwarded your question to an Advisor and they responded with the following: Unfortunately the remote control has been discontinued and we no longer have it in stock. You might be able to find it somewhere else. The model number is RM-X170. If you would like to discuss further you can contact an Advisor directly by phone (1-800-324-9695) or online chat. Think there are 4 different ones [ TONATIUH  Jun 29, 2016 ]
Theres just a few backgrounds nothing spectacular. I really didn't check to see if you could put your own. Hope that helps yiu with your decision. [ JOSEPH  May 26, 2014 ]
You will want to contact an Advisor by phone (1-800-324-9695) or online chat to discuss compatibility with your factory system. They will be able to pull up your vehicle and see if this will integrate. If it does not, then they will also be able to discuss other options with you. [ Krissy  Apr 16, 2014 ]  Staff
No album art is displayed with Android or Pandora, I have not used with an ipod so I can't answer second question. Hope this helps. [ JAMES A  Apr 14, 2014 ]
With my android phone yes you can see art when using Pandora. As far as the ipod i can't speak to that because i don't use an ipod anymore. I simply use my phone as my media player but i can tell you that in using flash drives and drilling up or down through albums and tracks you have to use the arrows rather than dragging up or down. For the money i have been extremely pleased and have not experienced any issues and i am coming up on 1 year of ownership. Hope this helps. [ BRANDT M  Apr 14, 2014 ]
The car in which it was installed I sold. I don't have an Android phone or iPod so I'm afraid I'm not much help. [ TED  Apr 14, 2014 ]
Can you use the blue tooth with iPod phones with out using a USB? [ Michelle b  Mar 20, 2014 ]
    Nope [ JOHN D  Feb 14, 2014 ]
No, it is a fixed screen and is not removable either. The entire unit is one solid piece. [ MICHAEL J  Feb 14, 2014 ]
No, it is a stationary screen. Sorry [ STEVEN  Feb 13, 2014 ]
Dennis- I have had this unit almost 10 months and that screen doesn't tilt that I'm aware. They may have had an updated model since then but mine doesn't tilt. [ MARK  Feb 13, 2014 ]
