Rackmountable receiver for BLX systems
Shure's BLX4R rackmount wireless receiver is part of the BLX family of digital wireless systems. The BLX4R is a single-channel wireless receiver which features simple frequency matching with Shure's BLX line of transmitters. Its rugged metal construction will stand up to life on the road, and its XLR and 1/4" outputs allow use with a variety of systems. Whether you're miking a vocalist or an instrument, the BLX4R is ready to receive.
When considering a wireless system, you'll want to pick the frequency band with the least interference from local TV stations. Shure's Wireless Frequency Finder will show you the TV stations in your area, along with a list of recommended channels. Choose the frequency band that gives you the most open channels.

Single Channel Wireless Receiver (for BLX Wireless Systems): The Shure BLX4 is a single channel wireless receiver designed specifically for Shure's BLX wireless systems (transmitters & mics, sold separately). The BLX4 features simple setup, intuitive controls, and microprocessor-controlled internal antenna diversity. Shure BLX wireless systems have a range up to 300'. Up to 12 BLX wireless systems can operate simultaneously.
Rack-Mountable + Rugged Construction: The Shure BLX4 is rack-mountable and features rugged metal construction. Rack mount kit is included.
Frequency Bands: This model BLX4 wireless receiver works on the M15 (662-686MHz) frequency band. One-touch QuickScan frequency selection quickly locates the best open frequency in case of interference. When purchasing separate wireless components, please match their frequency bands to ensure proper system operation. Different Shure BLX wireless systems operate on a variety of frequency bands, including:
- H8 (518-542MHz)
- J10 (584-608MHz)
- K12 (614-638MHz)
- M15 (662-686MHz)
Connectors: The Shure BLX4 is fitted with one XLR Mic output and one 1/4" Instrument output to connect the wireless receiver to your mixer or amplifier.
