Overview: The Shure PG58 is a rugged professional microphone
for live vocal performances. It a tailored, smooth frequency response, tuned
specifically for vocal applications. It has an on-off switch for on-stage
control. This PG58-LC model comes with a swiveling stand mount, a 5/8"-to-3/8"
thread adapter, and a
zippered carrying bag.
Pickup Pattern: The PG58 is has a cardioid polar pattern,
which picks up the most sound from directly in front of the microphone, and some
sound from the sides. This makes it less susceptible to feedback.

with a black matte finish. The hardened steel mesh ball grill protects the
internal elements, and resists wear and abuse. Inside the grille is an
integrated "pop" filter that reduces explosive breath sounds and wind noise.

provides a secure mount to a floor stand or a boom stand. The microphone slips
into the swivel mount, which lets you tilt the microphone forward or backward over 180°.
A 5/8"-to-3/8" thread adapter is included for alternate mounts.
Connector: The Shure PG58 has a 3-pin male XLR connector. No
microphone cable is included in this package.
