A smart fit for proper noise isolation

The SE112's dynamic micro-drivers provide the optimal angle in your ear canal to ensure you hear all the details in whatever music you're listening to. That means less external noise will enter your ears, so you're better able to focus on what you're supposed to be hearing — a crucial factor for any musician looking to deliver a knockout performance.

good sound with some odd design choices.

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

Pretty good headphones. I have hearing loss so that if I have to struggle to hear things, then I might as well not even bother listening. These headphones are sufficiently clear so that I can enjoy the music. Not as good as my sennheiser HD1s, but not as expensive either. " The one issue I have with them is that they like to pop out of the headphone jack on my phone about 1mm. But when they do that, they stop producing any sound. Never had any other headphones that are that finicky in the headphone jack.

Pros: Heavy Duty Good sound for the price

Cons: -Headphone jack is thicker than most phones these days so if you have a phone case, these will not fully insert into the jack. -Even without the phone case, the fit into the phone jack is finicky

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

Great sound and fit but don't like how the cord gets tangled all the time and I always have to take my phone case off to use them because the plug end is not a straight plug! A little pricey too!

Pros: Great sound

Cons: Cord tangles too easy no pause or volume control,a little pricey for these issues!

Good sound for the money - just make sure to use the correct insert size for your ear as a solid fit is essential. The wires and connections seem very heavy duty and should last for a while.

These ear phones block out unwanted noise at planet fitness gym and permit me to listen to my music!

Pros: Great price. Top quality used in recording studios.

Cons: Wish I had bought them sooner!

Not great

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

I bought these to replace the headphones that came with my iPhone. My wife insisted on using them. So I bought these thinking they would sound nicer. Couldn't be further from the truth. The less expensive Apple headphones that come with the iPhone blow these away. There is no fullness to the sound at all. No midrange, no bass, only a tinny, high range comes through.

Pros: None

Cons: None

Great for the money

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

My rating is based on the fact that these earbuds do not cost $200. And my experience with earbuds is very limited. That said, these sound great. I did research before buying them, and I am happy with them. They are better than inexpensive earbuds, and not as good as high-quality, full-size headphones. I think that you would be happy with them, and with your experience with Crutchfield.

Pros: Sound great.

Cons: You can't expect earbuds to deliver the bass, and the overall highly-satisfying experience that you can get from full-size headphones.

Easy to use. The sound is super clear and they fit properly. I bought them as a gift for my son and even though he didn't like the style I've wound up using them myself instead of returning them. I wasn't an earbud person but I am now!

Pros: Good quality sound, nice price, long cord.

Cons: No kill switch or volume on the wire.

nice budz

pollo from scottsdale, az on 9/27/2014

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

The 2 previous reviews don't give enough credit to these little guys. I burned them in for 4 hours, slowly increasing the volume every half hour. Next day they sounded better than any budz I've tried b4. Ya the fit is snug but its supposed to be, that's how u get the best sound. Not uncomfortable at all and easy to put back in its little pouch. Noise cancelling depends on the seal of the budz not on any "Noise cancelling technology", but still works good, more than once I've been talked to for a few minutes and never heard a word they said. U get what u pay for and these are awesome for 50 bucks delivered, just get em and prove me wrong.

Pros: comfortable, sound sweet and free delivery (which was fast)

Cons: if u aren't used to budz with foam rubber earpieces, they might be uncomfortable at first. Once u get it u got it, no problemmo.

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

I got these for flying, and for late night computing. They sounded great when I tried them, and even better when I compared them with plain vanilla ear buds. Been tossing some older ear buds...

Pros: Sound quality is wonderful.

Cons: The seal is tight, which is good, but takes a bit of getting used to the feel.

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

For an inn ear headphone ud, these are every bit the equal, and as good as the same size ear buds from Bose, and other top end manufacurers.

Pros: I got these primarily for good freq. response and the ability to use them while wearing my helmet while riding my 900 cc dual sport motorcycle for hours at a time. For this they/re near perfect, as over the ear headphones just won;t do.

Cons: Not as comfortable or clear as over the ear headphones, but sore in a much smaller space and don't weigh nearly as much.

Not sure as I use a droid, however I would think it would work just fine. They are great sounding, and if they don't work you can always return. Crutchfield is great about returns.[ ROBERT  May 06, 2016 ]
Worked just fine on my iPhone 5.[ barry  May 04, 2016 ]
Yes[ Robert  May 03, 2016 ]
Yes, I use it on my iPhone 5 and now iPhone 6[ Gary  May 03, 2016 ]
I have used these with my iPhone 6s, and they sound great! However, I have also read online about the receptacle on iPhones being slightly different than the standard - using regular headphone plugs in the jack may wear it out, eventually not work, whatever. There must be a million people using aftermarket headphones with iPhones, so it's hard to imagine that it's that big of a deal - but I wish Apple would use conventional designs/sizes whenever possible. Hope this helps. Mike[ Michael  May 03, 2016 ]
