Kicker's CompVX subwoofers bring the class-leading design elements found in Kicker's Solo-Baric® L7 square subs to those who prefer the look of a circular sub in their vehicles. The 10CVX102 10" sub sports dual 2-ohm voice coils for maximum versatility and it'll sound great in sealed or ported applications.

Solo-Baric performance in a round sub

Kicker's CompVX subwoofers bring the class-leading design elements found in Kicker's Solo-Baric® L7 square subs to those who prefer the look of a circular sub in their vehicles. The 10CVX102 10" sub sports dual 2-ohm voice coils for maximum versatility and it'll sound great in sealed or ported applications.

One-piece SoloKon™ cone

Unique 360-degree back bracing and a ribbed Santoprene® surround keep the sub's one-piece SoloKon™ cone from flexing, so your bass stays accurate when the beats get loud. And Kicker understands the heat that can be generated during heavy play, so they use high-temp dual voice coils and a high-mass, solid pole piece that'll stand up to the abuse.

The CompVX also features a non-resonant cast-aluminum basket that adds no coloration to your bass. Kicker caps off this unique sub with smart design features like perimeter venting that cools the sub's motor structure and spring-loaded terminals that can accept up to 10-gauge wire.

To drive this single subwoofer, we recommend a mono amplifier rated between 450 and 900 watts RMS at 4 ohms. For more information, please refer to our article on How to Match Subwoofers and Amplifiers.

Great sub!

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

I blew my infinity a few years back and decided to test out the Rockford T0. The first one was deffective, I received another one, which blew in a week or so. Then I got my third which blew a year and change after I had it. I had a 300 watt mono block amp feeding it. At this point I was out of warranty so I had to eat the money for a blown speaker. I purchased this kicker and man has it blown that Rockford out of the water. Same box, same 300 watt amp. Hugeeee diffrence. I love this thing! I've had it for a few years now, it's been in two cars and performed way beyond my expectations. Deff a must. Make sure you have a big enough box for this animal to be unleashed to its full potential.

Pros: Super clean, tight, crisp bass. Zero distortion.

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

I threw this in a 2013 Ram 1500 Crew Cab. I've used a few different Kicker 10" subs including their old Comp VT line which I absolutely loved especially for the price, but this one blew me out of the water. It came in the mail and I couldn't believe how solid this thing is. It was deeper than I expected and I was afraid I might not be able to fit it in my box, but it worked out. The sub hasn't broken in yet, but it's already got me excited. Performs great
