Kicker's 10TC104 loaded enclosure puts a thumping 10" subwoofer behind the seat of a truck or in any vehicle that's low on space. The rugged ported box was designed specifically for the subwoofer, so you can count on getting maximum performance, no matter what kind of tunes you enjoy.

A match made in heaven...or Oklahoma

Kicker's 10TC104 loaded enclosure puts a thumping 10" subwoofer behind the seat of a truck or in any vehicle that's low on space. The rugged ported box was designed specifically for the subwoofer, so you can count on getting maximum performance, no matter what kind of tunes you enjoy.

Hard-hitting Comp sub

The 10" Comp sub features a stiff injection-molded polymineral cone supported by a double-stitched ribbed foam surround for deep excursion. Kicker's back-braced cone design keeps the woofer stable during those hard hits, while the perimeter venting system helps cool the sub's internal parts during demanding performances. A strong steel basket provides a stable foundation that won't flex during hard use.

Heavy-duty enclosure

Sturdy 3/4" medium-density fiberboard ensures long-lasting performance from the enclosure, and the special-design side port delivers more bass without getting sloppy. The enclosure's 4-ohm impedance allows compatibility with a wide range of amplifiers.

Features

Speaker Terminals: The spring post terminals are mounted on the left side of the enclosure and will accept pin connectors, single or dual banana plugs, or bare wire up to 10 gauge.

Woofers: The Kicker 40TC104 enclosure uses one 4Ω, 10" Comp subwoofer.

  • Ribbed Surround: The optimized ribbed foam surround allows extended cone excursion for additional bass output and higher SPL. The surround is double-stitched to the cone to add a mechanical fastener to the chemical adhesives; this prevents the cone and surround from separating in the harshest conditions.
  • Spiralead Tinsel Leads: The durable Spiralead tinsel leads are woven into the woofer's spider, for added strength and reliability.
  • Vented Pole Piece: The steel basket's vented pole piece and Kicker's perimeter venting slots contribute to the woofers' efficient cooling and durability.

Break-in Period: Due to the complex nature of Kicker Comp speakers, they require a break-in period in order to produce optimum bass response. The suspension system is very stiff out-of-the-box. Approximately two weeks of daily playing will allow the suspension to break-in and reach its optimum equilibrium. Once broken-in, the subwoofer will exhibit stronger bass performance, smoother response, and greater bass extension.

Why did you buy this?

Good price and I love the quality and performance of Kicker products. [ Andrew  Jul 12, 2016 ]
Very good treble, I had my equalizer set really high since the old were worn out, & had to turn treble & mid down a lot. Only problem is not as big as stock & not worn out so less bass. Going to try & fit 6 1/2" in the rear deck. [ Nicholas  Apr 15, 2016 ]
I needed a 4 ohm Subwoofer. [ Gregory  Mar 24, 2016 ]

I bought the Kicker 10TC104 Sub along with Sound Ordnance M-1350. The Kicker amp you are looking at seems to have a lot of power. Unless you are running an amp to power your other speakers you will drown out the sound with that much bass and you run the risk of blowing the sub. My Sound Ordnance M-1350 is adjustable with a knob I have installed on the lower part of my dash and I have it set to half way. And even with aftermarket front speakers it can drown them out. Hope this helps. [ Paul  Jun 28, 2016 ]
The amp and the speaker is a great match. However, I do not own an F-150 so i cannot comment on fitment. [ JAMES  Jun 28, 2016 ]
Yes [ ETHAN  Jun 25, 2016 ]
Yes, this subwoofer requires an amplifier that produces roughly 100-200 watts RMS at 4-ohm in order to drive it at optimal performance. The Kicker CXA300.1 amp would be a good option as an example: http://www.crutchfield.com/p_206CXA3001/Kicker-43CXA300-1.html?tp=35834 If you have any other questions, feel free to reach out to an expert Advisor via the "Contact Us" link at the top of our webpage. I hope that helps. [ Larry  Jun 19, 2016 ]  Staff

I Have the same combo in my single cab truck and it hits pretty hard and the lows are verry clear [ JOSEPH  Aug 23, 2015 ]
I usually lay mine flat on its back. the terminals are on the side so there is no reason you can't. [ Kevin  May 05, 2015 ]
Yes if you have an extended cab truck or even a 4 door pickup, you can use it to lay upward under the seat. [ Jarrod  May 05, 2015 ]
yes you could lay this flat [ JEFF  May 04, 2015 ]
I mounted it upright but I dont see a reason why it could not be mounted flat [ James  May 04, 2015 ]
I lay mine flat in the back of my wrangler and it sounds great. I've had it for about a year without any issues. [ Joel  May 03, 2015 ]
Don't see why you couldn't. [ JOSEPH  May 03, 2015 ]

thats based on your settings that you tune, its not the subwoofer [ john  Aug 22, 2014 ]
Blake, i bought this for a very similar reason. I did not want the trunk rattle or to let everyone know i had a sub in my car from two blocks over. I have a 97 honda civic two door HX and this provides ample bass running off a Sound Ordnance M1350 350W x 1 at 2 Ohms Car Amplifier. I believe it would be a good purchase if you are not looking for super bass but does Kick if you ask it to. Hope this helps Cheers [ JEFF  Aug 22, 2014 ]
I REALLY THINK SO. THE SUB IS TRULY THIN. I HAD NO PROBLEM WITH IT FITTING BEHIND THE BACK SEAT OF MY 2004 ENVOY. [ PHILL  Aug 02, 2014 ]
U have lots of room hunder back sit, very sure it will [ ORLANDO  Aug 01, 2014 ]
Don't know , I have it in a Tacoma it is exposed there was no wa turn to conceal it in my access cab but it works for me. [ JAMES  Aug 01, 2014 ]
Not sure if it will fit in a crew cab, it fits perfect behind the seat of a single cab [ Jarrod  Aug 01, 2014 ]
