Let your favorite songs blast you awake. The Kicker iK150 AM/FM clock radio features a built-in dock for your iPod or iPhone. Just choose your music source and crank up the volume. The system's full-range stereo speakers sound surprisingly big and full, and a front-facing bass port extends low-end response. The iK150 includes dual alarms, and you can set each one to rouse you by a buzzer, radio station, or your docked player.
The large knob in front lets you tune in radio stations and adjust the volume. Use the buttons beneath the knob to operate basic functions on your iPod, such as play, pause, and skip track. And you can hook up another music source to the iK150's auxiliary input, like a portable CD player or MP3 player, for even more listening options.

Average Customer Review(s):
I'm pleased with the purchase. The sound is what I expected after reading the reviews, and what I was looking for in a bedroom only table radio. My music of choice is mostly smooth jazz, lounge, or easy listening, and the sound is rarely turned above the first setting as I listen primarily at bedtime while reading. To capture the nuance of such music at low volume is a stretch for many radios. The Kicker iK150 provides clear and fluid sound, rivaling that of my former Boston Acoustics Receptor radio. The primary reason for replacing the BA radio was the need for another music source when my favorite station turns to broadcasting baseball games. The docking and playback functions work well with a 6th generation iPod Nano.
Pros: Solidly built. Sound quality is excellent and adjustable. The radio is not as large as I expected - a plus for night stand placement. The blue display can be dimmed to barely visible and turned off if necessary. iPod functions and docking work well. Alarm sounds with choice of music or alarm, and the display comes on brightly at the same time (for those who are hard to wake).
Cons: Sometimes even the lowest volume seems too loud when trying to go to sleep to music. The time is hard to see, even in a dark room, when display is turned to minimum. The alarm function is difficult to manipulate when waking and I'm still not used to that after several months with the radio. The settings could be easier to manipulate.
very sound for smaal speaker
Sounds really good for it's size! Would have gave it 5 stars if it had a carrying handle and built in antanae. But a great sounding lil stereo.
Sounds far better (louder, deeper, crisper) than anything I listened at even $75 over its price range at the store. I bought without listening because I was not satisfied with what I was hearing at the store and hoped kicker would live up to its car audio name (which is pretty decent). It did!
I was shopping for an iPhone/iiPod player with an alarm clock feature and this was one of the few brands that I found offering both. At first I wasn't familiar with the Kicker brand, but the more I researched it I read nothing but good reviews and comments about it . The sound is nothing short of amazing for such a small unit. I bought it in part because I read on Crutchfield's website that each speaker was 10-watts. One feature that I like about the iK150 is that it charges the iPhone/iPod will it is connected to the unit. On a scale of 1 to 10, I would score the iK150 a 10+. Excellent value, nice design and great sound.
Great sound and good construction. Just what i expect from Kicker!
I got this for my 13 yo son for Christmas. He loves it - iPhone 4 fits perfectly without an adaptor. The sound rocks - sounds as good or better than my Bose. The display is dimmable so it's not too bright at night. It is easy for him to set the alarm. The charging of the iphone while it is in the dock is also a convenient feature... Super product! Thanks Crutchfield!
Wow! I did some research then asked Santa for this. We have a Bose for my Ipod in the living room...this sounds just as good! I look forward to my alarm going off in the morning, never before! What crisp, clean sound. Very enjoyable. Looking for a Kicker for my Ipad now...
Amazing little unit. Sound is better than I expected. Excellent bass for such a small unit and plenty of power. Nice and clean and strong volume. Some of the buttons a little hard to poke below the knob, but overall this is quite an amazing little unit. Perfect for a bedside table and can also fill up a room with plenty of sound. Good way to listen to ipod/iphone. Worked fine with iphone 4.Very satisfied overall.
The IK150 AM/FM clock radio with IPOD docking and MP3 capability ....Great sound with strong bass..... Using MP3 with 3ft adaptor cable and it works very well--much better than expected....Only weakness is AM reception which is poor...FM reception is excellent.
