Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)
I hooked up my system originally with the cable that came in an amp install kit, and whenever I started my engine, there was alternator noise in the system. When I upgraded from my factory head unit to the DNX9140, I decided that I was going to run six channels (excluding center channel), and I did not want a huge bundle of cables everywhere, so I upgraded to this cable because of others recommendations. I am very impressed with the cables. Not only is my alternator noise gone with all the wires running in generally the same locations, but the breakout is very generous for hooking up to multiple amps if the need arises. The cable is also not excessively thick thanks to the twisting and lack of unnecessary shielding, so it will fit in tight spots in vehicles. The only problematic piece is I wish they would have included some type of labels to distinguish RCA outputs, as it is not easy to remember especially with some of the colors being somewhat similar.
