Our take on the Code Alarm DA1 by Crutchfield's Ken Nail
Got manual locks in your vehicle? Use Code Alarm's DA1 door lock actuator to add power door locks when you've installed a Code Alarm system with a remote door lock/unlock feature. Once you wire the DA1 door lock actuator to your manual door locks, you'll be able to lock and unlock your car doors automatically with your remote.
Each actuator comes with a backstrap, push arm, screws, speed clips, mounting block, and wire guard. You'll need one actuator for each door you'd like to control. Warranty: 30 days.
Important: If you know how to use a multimeter and have experience working with your vehicle's electrical system, you should be able to install this car security equipment. If you're unfamiliar with installing car security equipment, please speak to one of our Advisors before attempting this installation. Note: Before purchasing, please call us at 1-888-955-6000 to confirm that this product works with your vehicle.
Got two of these actuators for my truck and installed them, They worked perfect. I added an alarm to my truck and these actuators and were easy to install, and I never done this type of installation. We will have to see how long they last now. Great product and easy to install. Thanks Crutchfield.

Code Alarm DA1 Reviews
Average Customer Review(s):
Thanks for submitting your review
Overview: The Code-Alarm DA-1 power door lock actuator can provide a power door lock to a door that has rod style manual door locks. The actuator responds to electrical signals from the alarm or keyless entry system and physically moves the vehicle's door locking rod to a locked or unlocked position. One DA-1 actuator will be needed for each door you want to control. If the alarm or keyless entry system you are installing does not have built-in door lock relays, you must add a door lock relay pack (item number 220DLRKP, sold separately) or two SPDT relays (item number 120E5000, sold separately).
Installation: The DA-1 should be installed behind the door panel in a location that won't inhibit window movement or door panel replacement.
