These pre-construction brackets are designed to hold NHT's iC4 in-ceiling speakers. Use the included wings to attach the bracket to ceiling joists before the drywall goes up. NHT provides brackets and all the hardware you'll need to do a quick and easy installation.

Overview: The NHT iCB8 pre-construction in-ceiling brackets are used to frame out the in-ceiling speaker locations of the NHT iC4 in-ceiling speakers prior to sheetrock application. The iCB8 pre-construction bracket is ideal for new construction or remodeling when ceiling joists are exposed and also makes for easy post sheetrock speaker installation in ceiling. The iCB8 eliminates the need to cut holes for new speaker installations and makes speaker locations predictable rather than cutting holes blind.

Note: The iCB8 fits the NHT iC4 in-ceiling speakers. One kit contains two brackets for two speakers.

Cutout Dimensions: During the drywall phase, cut a round hole approximately 10.25" around the iCB8 bracket so that the drywall surrounds the protruding lip of the mounting bracket. Once installed, the lip of the mounting bracket will extend approximately 0.5" beyond the perimeter of the cutout to hide minor imperfections in the cutout.

Note: All mounting hardware is included (two in-ceiling brackets, four mounting wings, and eight 2" screws)
