Hands-on research

Product Research

Passive Volume Control: The NHT PVC PC's single rotary control allows precise two-channel level adjustments within 1dB from 0 to -40dB (with ± .5dB inter-channel accuracy to -60 dB). The PVC PC is a passive attenuator and adds no gain to the circuit. When the PVC PC volume control is set to maximum, it outputs the same signal level that it is receiving.

Note: NHT recommends you set the volume control of your external audio source to full volume and then use the PVC PC to set your attenuation levels. This will give your audio system the lowest possible noise level.

Analog Inputs/Outputs: The NHT PVC PC features both RCA (stereo) and minijack (3.5mm) inputs and outputs. These connectors are wired in parallel, so that you can only use one type of input/output (RCA or minijack).

Note: No audio cables are included.
