MTX install in 93 Full Size Blazer
Its well constructed, easy to install, and provides more bass than you might expect. I am especially happy to find out that the sub is very musical, and produces a nice tight sound, and isn't boomy. Also the placement helps to reinforce the soundstage, and prevents it from sounding like you have your back to the stage. Sub's can be "localized" its just not as apparent at the lower frequencies. That all said, it was money well spent.
Pros: Its a simple, well made solution, for those that don't want to give up the Utility of there Sport Utility Vehicle. Surprisingly deep bass, that is very tight and musical.
Cons: The 225W RMS/ 700W Peak rating, had me searching in circles for an Amp that would not be over kill on RMS, but still break 300w Peak. Finally I figured I wold risk it and got a Sony XM-1S 290W RMS @ 4ohm, peak 500w, and called it a day.
