Get some big bass

MTX engineering

Trickle-down technology makes the Terminator subs a serious value. MTX's exclusive spider plateau venting pushes air in and out of the sub's inner works to keep the 1-1/2" voice coil cool, while the Assymetrical Linear Drive System uses a flat, progressive spider and an extended pole piece to produce smooth, linear movement of the polypropylene cone. Translation? These powerful subs keep pumping out accurate bass, even during extended, high-level play. And MTX protects this loaded enclosure with their 2-year warranty.

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

Insane bass for the money. Paired it with Sound Ordnance M1500 amp. Wow! It is so loud. My car wouldn't survive the power of this "fully operational battle station" for long. Witness the power for yourself. You won't be sorry.

Pros: Big skull crushing bass, inexpensive

Cons: Takes up fair amount of space. Haven't found grills that fit it yet

awesome

Eric from Crestview, FL on 8/21/2013

Hooked these up in my daughters 95 Mustang and these things sound and look amazing! I've had dozens of different subs over the years and these sound much better than most. I have a 15" Kicker COMP VR in my other car and these sound alot better.

Pros: Great price. Look cool. Beat hard and drop low. Clean crisp sound.

Cons: None

I ordered these and the mtx TD500.1D amp. Upon hooking these up They would not play any sound... I rechecked all of my wiring multiple times and even bought a different pair of rca's without being able to get any sound.. Finally I pulled out the speaker wire terminal from the box and discovered that only one side of the wire was soldered to the terminal and the other side was just hanging there.. I tried to put the clip on the terminal and it was so lose it fell right back off. I crimped it down with some pliers and they work now.. Was a huge pain and should of never happened! The subs do beat pretty hard and Overall they are decent... I did expect a bit more from everyone's reviews though!

Pros: Sound good, look good

Cons: Both speaker wire terminals should have been soldered on the inside of the box instead of just one!

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

I love these subs. Point made. They are amazing. I combined them with the THUNDER500.1 Amp (also from MTX), and I have got to say, these things bump! I have a jeep wrangler (two door), and I had to take the back seat out to fit them, but it's worth it. Now I don't have to cart around some of my more annoying friends, and the ones that do ride with me love the subs too. It might just be the fact that the subs are located right behind my seat, but they are amazing. I can hardly go past 20 on my volume knob without choking on the bass. I spent $ on the subs and the amp, and bought a wiring kit, installed it all myself, and I couldn't be happier.

Pros: Sound, build, and looks are fantastic.

Cons: None.

Awesome subs
