About the MTX X ThunderLink XTL210P
MTX's compact X ThunderLink 210P powered subwoofer enclosure offers several mounting options so you can get plenty of boom without losing all your trunk or cargo space.
The durable enclosure holds a 200-watt amplifier that's fan-cooled for maximum efficiency. A 10" subwoofer throws down with thunderous MTX bass, while a 10" passive radiator adds extra depth. The amplifier turns itself on when it senses an incoming signal, so there's no need for a remote turn-on switch.
Mold your bass with built-in bass boost, crossover, gain, and phase shift adjustments recessed controls keep your settings safe from unwanted disturbances. You also get a wired remote for fingertip bass control from the driver's seat.
The X ThunderLink 210P offers multiple installation options. At less than 7" deep, it fits snugly behind the front seats of most pickup trucks. Mount the 210P vertically in the rear area of your SUV or van, and you'll have plenty of room for cargo. Want to keep the trunk space in your car? Mount it horizontally under the car's rear deck with the subs firing downward you'll hardly notice the space it takes up. The 210P comes with all the brackets and mounting hardware, except the wiring, you'll need to make the installation easier.

Amplifier: The XTL210P utilizes an integrated, efficient and compact 200 Watt at 2-ohm amplifier that is fan cooled to drive the 10" woofer and 10" passive radiator.
Controls: The XTL210P features the following easy accessible controls located on the front of the self-amplified enclosure.
- Gain: Fine-tunes the input sensitivity of the unit's internal amplifier to your head-units output level; adjusts from 250mV to 5V.
- Crossover: 40-120Hz continuously variable crossover.
- Bass Boost: Boosts bass frequencies of 40Hz from 0 to +12dB.
- Phase Switch: Inverts the amplifier's output phase by 180 degrees to ensure the frequency interaction between the speakers is consistent within your vehicle.
Wired Bass Control: You can control the bass-level of the XTL210P from your driver's seat when you connect the remote control module. When the Electronic Bass Control is plugged into the unit, it will never supersede where the gain on the built-in amplifier of the subwoofer enclosure is set. A 20' cable is attached and plugs into the 3.5mm plug on back of the subwoofer enclosure labeled EBC.

The self-amplified enclosure comes with a pair of 10.5' RCA to speaker-level adapter cables in-case your head-unit is not equipped with RCA preamp outputs to provide speaker-level in.
Power/Ground/Turn-On Terminals: The XTL210P utilizes gold-plated set-screw terminals on the rear-panel for a solid connection and current transfer for your power, ground and turn-on lead wires. MTX recommends using 8 or 10 gauge power and ground wire for installation.
Smart-Engage Auto-Turn-On: An auto turn on circuit is included within the amplifier. The amplifier will automatically turn on when music is received. A remote turn-on wire is not necessary when connecting the amplifier's high-level input adapters to your high-powered head-unit.
