Command your camcorder's field of view from a distance
The JVC CU-PC1 Pan Cradle is the perfect home monitoring accessory to have when you need to keep an eye on things at home. Even when your camcorder is set to its widest angle, it's not always possible to get an entire room in view. Now you can use your compatible smartphone or tablet to automatically pan your camcorder 180 degrees via your home Wi-Fi® network. The secure base also tilts manually 40 degrees up and down. The device can mount on a tripod as well. And it works with all 2013 Wi-Fi equipped JVC Everio camcorders.

Overview: The JVC CU-PC1 Pan Cradle is an accessory for select Everio camcorders. After mounting your camcorder onto the Pan Cradle, you can pan around the room, controlled remotely by your smartphone or tablet via Wi-Fi. It has a motorized 180° panning operation, plus a manual 40° (+20°/-20°) tilting capability. Two panning speeds are available (High/Low).
Compatibility: The Pan Cradle is compatible with all Wi-Fi equipped 2013 Everio camcorders, including the GZ-EX355 and GZ-EX555.
Connection: The Pan Cradle has a 6" pigtail with a 3.5mm connector which plugs into the camcorder's AV terminal. You can change the setting of the AV terminal on your smartphone or tablet through the Everio Sync2 app to allow you to control the Pan Cradle.
Operations: Using the Everio Sync2 app, you can control the Pan Cradle via Wi-Fi through your smartphone or tablet while performing Direct Monitoring, Indoor Monitoring, or Outdoor Monitoring function. The Wi-Fi signals are picked up by the camcorder and transferred to the Pan Cradle through the wired connection.
Power Requirements: The CU-PC1 operates on two "AA" batteries (not included), or the supplied AC adapter. Two "AA" alkaline batteries provide approximately 6 hours of continuous.
Tripod Mountable: The Pan Cradle has a standard thread on the bottom for tripod mounting.
