The Canon EOS 5D Mark IV has a 3.2" monitor with intuitive touchscreen controls for Live View shooting.
Whether you do most of your photography in the studio or out in the field, the Canon EOS 5D Mark IV can keep up with your demands. This 30.4-megapixel, Wi-Fi-equipped update of a popular full-frame favorite excels in different shooting situations and in all kinds of lighting. If you need a fast, responsive camera that consistently produces pro-quality, high-resolution still images and 4K video, this multimedia maestro might just be your new best friend.
The 5D Mark IV is equipped with a high-performance DIGIC 6+ image processor for outstanding image quality and even faster continuous shooting up to seven frames per second. The improved ISO range of ISO 100-32,000 (expandable to ISO 50-102,400) yields excellent results in available light. The camera's megapixel-packed full-frame sensor further enhances low-light performance, with reduced noise, even at high ISO settings.
The 5D Mark IV's Dual Pixel CMOS autofocus system enables fast, smooth autofocus performance in Live View mode and during movie shooting, where quick focus is essential. Movie focus is natural and precise, even when switching between subjects. This 61-point system excels in challenging light, and accurately tracks fast-moving subjects even when they change speed and position. A 150,000-pixel RGB+IR metering sensor lets the camera quickly recognizes subjects for more precise autofocus, metering, and exposure compensation. Canon's Intelligent Tracking and Recognition system uses this information to provide more consistent autofocus on moving subjects.
If you're new to videography, the EOS 5D Mark IV is easy to handle and fun to use. It shoots 4K video at up to 30 frames per second, and Full HD 60p movies that can be saved as MP4s for easy sharing. Intuitive touchscreen operation lets you select autofocus points while the camera is still rolling, and you can rely on continuous autofocus for easy shooting.
The autofocus system's speedy performance helps keep the camera focused during action sequences. 8.8-megapixel still frame grabs let you extract beautiful photos from your 4K videos, plus you can use this feature to easily verify that your movies are sharply focused. Use a mini HDMI cable (not included) to watch your video creations on a compatible 4K TV.
Great for documenting travel adventures and special events, Canon's freshly designed 24-105mm f/4 IS II USM lens is the perfect complement to the 5D Mark IV. Like the camera itself, its solid dust- and moisture-resistant design let you use it in a variety of situations. This lens's versatile focal range lets you capture everything from expansive wide-angle views to tight close-ups and detail shots. Its constant f/4 aperture keeps the look of your images consistent at different focal lengths, and specialized lens elements ensure tack-sharp, splendidly colored images.
This versatile lens is an excellent choice for shooting smooth 4K videos. Its near-silent ultrasonic motor provides quick, accurate autofocus response, while powerful image stabilization technology minimizes image blur and camera shake when shooting indoors or in low light.
The 5D Mark IV's built-in Wi-Fi lets you transfer images and MP4 movies from the camera to your compatible phone or tablet with Canon's free Camera Connect app. Use the app to change camera settings, and turn your mobile device into a wireless remote. NFC touch pairing lets you connect easily to any compatible device with NFC, like the Canon Connect Station CS100 wireless storage hub. The camera's GPS system helps you tag your images with location data and automatically adjusts the time settings. Wi-Fi lets you quickly upload your geotagged images when you're shooting in remote locations.

Average Customer Review(s):
I bought this as a gift for myself for Christmas 2016. The very *first* thing that stunned me about this camera was its low light performance. The body does not come with a stock flash that pops right up. You have to buy an external flash. I am moving up from a consumer DSLR to this prosumer model so I didn't realize that. Anyway, I took pictures in dim lighting - very dim lighting - because I had forgotten to buy the external flash and was absolutely blown away with how great they turned out. That is without using any flash *and* being in a fairly dark room with a single small table lamp. I also shoot video on this from now on with the stock lens in this kit. The camera automatically produces a very high quality bokeh as it blurs the background gently enough while the subject remains in focus. This can be adjusted if you put it on manual focus to put the entire frame in focus but when shooting subjects, I find the bokeh to produce a far better viewer experience. Outside of that, the rest of the performance is what I expect from a prosumer DSLR. Of course it has a fast burst rate for action shots and also has a full-frame sensor along with the newest Digic image processing chip by Canon. I am still learning as I go along but on full-auto and some manual controls, the camera takes pictures far far superior to what I was always used to. IF you care about *quality* then you will really love this camera.

Overview: This Canon EOS 5D Mark IV kit includes the EF24-105mm f/4L IS II USM standard zoom lens. It covers a wide range of focal lengths from wide angle to mid telephoto. The lens features a built-in Image Stabilizer (IS), as well as an Ultrasonic Motor (USM).
Lens Construction: The lens is constructed of 17 lens elements in 12 groups, including 4 glass-molded (GMo) aspherical lenses on 5 surfaces for excellent overall resolving power. Compared to the previous version, this lens delivers better peripheral brightness and reduced distortion for clearer still photos and videos.
Lens Coatings: The front and rear lens surfaces are coated with non-stick fluorine to help reduce smears and fingerprints. This helps prevents dust, water, oil, and other surface residue from sticking to the lens, and allows you to quickly and easily wipe the lens clean without the use of solvents. In addition, Air Sphere Coating (ASC) on the lens elements help to combat flare, ghosting, and reflections with reduced aberrations.
Image Stabilizer (IS): The built-in Image Stabilizer can be used in the AF (autofocus) or MF (manual focus) modes. The Image Stabilizer gives the equivalent effect of a shutter speed 4 stops faster. The 2-position switch located on the barrel of the lens allows you to turn the image stabilizer on and off.
Ultrasonic Motor (USM): The EF24-105mm lens is equipped with a ring-type Ultrasonic Motor (USM) for silent, high-speed auto focusing. A high-performance control CPU drives the motor with accuracy, and with quicker starts and stops. It is programmed with optimized AF algorithms to achieve fast, accurate focus, and maintain it consistently.
Focusing Ring: Regardless of whether the lens is set to manual or auto focus mode, the focusing ring always works. This means you can auto focus on a subject, but manually fine-tune the focus by turning the focusing ring.
Lens Hood: The included EW-83M lens hood can keep unwanted light out of the lens, and protect the lens from rain, snow, and dust. You can reverse-mount the lens hood on the lens for storage.
Optional Filters: The EF24-105mm lens has a 77mm mounting thread on the front of lens for attaching screw-on type filters.
Power Options: The EOS 5D Mark IV operates on the supplied LP-E6N Lithium-Ion battery (7.2V, 1865 mAh, 14Wh). The battery can be charged in the supplied LC-E6N battery charger in approximately 150 minutes. The supplied battery performance specs are as follows:
|Viewfinder||Live View Shooting|
23° C/73° F
|Approx. 900 shots||Approx. 300 shots|
|0° C/32° F||Approx. 850 shots||Approx. 280 shots|
Optional AC Power: With the optional DR-E6 DC coupler and the AC-E6N, you can connect the camera to a household power outlet and not worry about the battery becoming exhausted. The ACK-E6 AC adapter kit can also be used.
Optional BG-E20 Battery Grip: With the optional BG-E20 Battery Grip, you can power the camera with two LP-E6N batteries. The two LP-E6 battery packs in the BG-E20 will give you up to 1800 shots while using the viewfinder, or 600 during Live View shooting. When two batteries are installed in the magazine, power is supplied simultaneously from both batteries.
Auto Power Off: To save battery power, the camera turns off automatically after a period of non-operation. The Auto Power Off time can be set to 1 minute, 2 minutes, 4 minutes, 8 minutes, 15 minutes, or 30 minutes. You can also disable the Auto Power Off function.
Note: The Auto Power Off function will not activate in Auto Playback Mode.
