Inputs and Outputs Notes
DLP TV with LED Illumination:
Instead of using an arc lamp and color wheel, the HL-S5679W uses LEDs (Light Emitting Diodes). Three
super-bright PhlatLightT LED chipsets - one each for red, green and blue -
create vivid, high-contrast images with an ultra-wide color range. The LEDs
flash on and off at much higher speeds than a color wheel so that rainbow
effects are greatly reduced or eliminated. Other LED benefits include cooler,
quieter operation and much quicker start-up.
