Overview: The Sony PlayStation 3 Blu-Ray Disc Remote Control allows you to take command of your Sony PlayStation 3 system's built-in Blu-ray Disc player without leaving your seat. You can access your PlayStation's Blu-ray Disc player's wide variety of features using the Blu-Ray Disc Remote Control. In addition to Blu-ray operation, the BD remote will also control DVD playback, videos saved on your PS3's hard disk drive, and audio CDs. Instead of using infrared like most standard remotes, this remote control uses Bluetooth (2.4GHz) technology so you do not have to point it directly at your PS3 system.

Compatibility: The Sony PlayStation Blu-Ray Disc Remote Control is compatible with the Sony PlayStation 3 game systems (40, 80, 160GB) with software version 1.30 or later. Before using the BD remote control, you must register (pair) the remote control with your PS3 system. This operation is performed only once when you are using the remote control for the first time. Only one BD remote control can be registered with a single PS3 system.

Power Supply: The Sony PlayStation 3 Blu-Ray Disc Remote Control operates off of two "AA" batteries (supplied).
