About the Precision Interface Electronics ALP/M-RCA
Precision Interface Electronics designed the ALP/M-RCA adapter cable to allow you to connect one auxiliary audio source (MP3 player, iPod, DVD player, etc.) to any Alpine Versatile-Link-ready M-bus head unit (the adapter will be listed as an accessory for compatible receivers). Once connected, you can select the AUX source on your receiver to permit playback of an outboard audio source through your Alpine receiver.
Important Note: When the ALP/M-RCA cable is used, a CD changer cannot be connected to the receiver. Warranty: 1 year.

Features
Auxiliary Input Adapter Application: The adapter converts the Alpine M-Bus CD changer port on many Alpine CD Changer controller receivers to an auxiliary input. The Alpine head unit must be Versatile Link (KCA-410C) compatible. This allows you to input line-level audio signals from such items as portable CD, MiniDisc or MP3 players, VCRs, satellite radio receivers, or video games.
Note: If you use this adapter as an auxiliary input adapter, you cannot connect an Alpine CD changer also.
Connectors: The adapter has a right-angle M-Bus connector on one end and gold-plated left and right RCA jacks on the other.
The Precision Interface Electronics ALP/M-RCA replaces these items
Alpine KCM-122B
- Lets you connect 1 audio aux source with RCA outputs to any Alpine Versatile-Link-ready M-bus head unit

High quality, not too short for reaching behind the unit, good intermediate connector to allow an Ipod to be connected to your older stereo/CD unit.
