P.I.E. iPod® adapter for Pioneer
Add iPod audio and charging to many Pioneer receivers (Model PIO/P-POD)
Our take on the P.I.E. iPod® adapter for Pioneer by Crutchfield's Ken Nail
This P.I.E. adapter allows you to connect an iPod to your Pioneer changer-controlling receiver (with IP-Bus input). One end of the adapter has an iPod dock connector, and the other end plugs into your Pioneer receiver's IP-Bus input. You'll also need to connect a 12-volt positive power lead and a ground cable.
You will continue to control your iPod's music from your iPod's clickwheel or touchscreen.
Note: Be sure to check "Details" for specific iPod model compatibility with this adapter.
Note: When the PIO/P-POD adapter is hooked up to the IP-Bus input, a Pioneer CD changer cannot be connected to the receiver.
