Apple® Lightning® to USB 3 Camera Adapter
Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)
Easy use adapter for iPhone and dragonfly
Transfer photos from your digital camera directly to your iPhone or iPad — no computer necessary. This adapter cable supports the 12.9" iPad Pro's USB 3.0 transfer speeds — great for large photo and video files. Or connect a portable USB DAC like the AudioQuest DragonFly to your iPhone or iPad for better sound and dependable performance. The adapter's additional Lightning port lets you plug in a Lightning charging cable and simultaneously power up your connected device.
You can also use this adapter to connect other USB-compatible devices to your iPhone or iPad. Connect a card reader to transfer files. Or plug in a USB mixer or USB microphone for mobile recording — great for podcasters. The cable's USB 3.0 terminal is backward-compatible with earlier versions of USB.

Easy use adapter for iPhone and dragonfly
First of all, my experience with Crutchfield was definitely FIVE-star. Although I ultimately had to return this item, I was very pleased with the seller and look forward to doing business with them again. That said, the Lightning to USB Camera Adapter simply did not work as a link between my USB audio mixer and my FocusRite iTrack Dock/iPad combination. Lots of people (I hesitate to say "everyone," but "everyone" is more accurate) said it would, so I don't understand what went wrong. Even cheaper (non-Apple) versions of this product have gotten excellent reviews. I only bought the Apple version because the salesman from Crutchfield went out of his way to find it for me and I wanted to reward him for such excellent customer service. I don't know what else to say about the product. If you need something to record from an external audio source to your iPad in a hurry, don't wait until the last minute assuming this product will do it. Leave yourself time to get it and test it. Hopefully it will work for you.
Pros: Sorry, it didn't work for me (see review)
Cons: Expensive as heck for a wire. Much cheaper versions are out there
The adapter functions flawlessly. It is big and overpriced.
Cons: Too big Expensive
