Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)
So shipping, 5 days to ship and UPS treated the package like they were mad at it. When it arrived the top of the box had become unattached and there was a large hole in the side. It was damaged but unnoticeable when assembled. I did not pursue this because I am lazy and did not want to deal with it. Sucker weighs 134 pounds. Assembly, I did not yell the F word once. This is pretty amazing since I swear when I am doing the dishes. Only took an hour, good instructions. Only needed a screwdriver. Build quality, nice piece of furniture. Very sturdy and well made with quality hardware. Nice pneumatic hinges Storage, I have and old Technics 1350 with lid and a 2265 Marantz reciever. Both fit with no problems. I was only able to use one shelf because I also need this cabinet for record storage. The holes for the shelf hardware were spaced a bit far apart. If I would have put the second shelf in I would not have fit the records under it. Should have been more holes for shelf spacing options. Sound, If I play my records at high volume I get a huge rumble when the cabinet lid is closed. I get less of a rumble when the lid is up but it is still there. again only at high volumes. My speakers are close to the cabinet, but I don't have a lot of space in my listening area. It is what it is. I am going to get some type of stabilizer for my turntable. Looks, Good! My girlfriend even likes the way it looks. Which says a lot I think.
Pros: Solid, attractive, packaged well, easy assembly, magnetic easily removable back, good dimension for small spaces.
Cons: 134 pounds shipping weight, shelf spacing options,
