Our take on the Alpine KTX-ALT58 Restyle Dash and Wiring Kit by Crutchfield's Dave Delamere
Keep your factory look and controls
This Restyle kit lets you install an oversized Alpine receiver in your Nissan while keeping your factory look. The package contains a dash kit that's been specially designed to make the big Alpine 8" screen look right at home in your Altima, even models with the Bose® audio system.
Plug it in and go
You'll need to hardwire your new Alpine to this adapter's parking brake, foot brake, and ground connections, but the rest is easy. The two included wiring harnesses plug directly from the Alpine receiver into your vehicle's factory wiring harnesses — no extra splicing or soldering needed. If your Altima originally came with the Bose audio system, you'll replace the speaker wire harness with the included RCA connector harness, which plugs into the Alpine's preamp outputs. The package also includes a steering wheel audio control interface — no programming necessary, just plug it in and go. Warranty: 1 year.
Compatibility note: This Restyle kit will not retain the factory Bluetooth® functionality or the factory SiriusXM satellite radio.
Note: Sorry, Crutchfield cannot ship Alpine products to Guam or Puerto Rico.

In-Dash Restyle Systems: The Alpine in-dash navigation receivers with an 8" LCD touchscreen will not fit a standard Single-DIN or Double-DIN dash opening. To accommodate this large screen in your vehicle's dash, Alpine offers a line of In-Dash Restyle System packages specifically for these receivers. Alpine's In-Dash Restyle System installation packages allow the Alpine navigation receiver with 8" LCD touchscreen to fit seamlessly into select vehicle dashes. In-Dash Restyle Systems are designed to cosmetically match the shape, color and texture of the vehicle's interior.
Compatibility: The Alpine KTX-ALT58 In-Dash Restyle System allows seamless integration of the Alpine 8" LCD touchscreen navigation head unit in select 2013-up Nissan Altimas (with or without factory Bose system). This In-Dash Restyle System will not retain the factory Bluetooth functionality, or factory SiriusXM satellite radio tuners. As always, please consult Crutchfield's Outfit My Car to verify fit with your vehicle.
OEM-Like Appearance: The KTX-ALT58 In-Dash Restyle System has been specifically fitted and engineered to fit select 2013-up Nissan Altimas perfectly. It comes with a specially formed OEM-grade, high quality/high strength ABS plastic radio housing that is color matched to the dash. This allows the unit to precisely fit not only the vehicle, but also the Alpine 8" LCD touchscreen navigation receiver. In addition, extra care is taken to match the factory dash's shape, texture, and color ensuring a more OEM-like appearance. Unlike traditional universal dash kits, the Alpine In-Dash Restyle Systems include direct fit OEM-like brackets to ensure sturdy support and accurate positioning of the radio in your vehicle's dash.
Vehicle+Radio Harness: This In-Dash Restyle System comes with a radio replacement interface and vehicle+radio harness for simple installation between the Alpine 8" LCD touchscreen receiver and your 2013-up Nissan Altima. You get all the necessary harnesses and adapters in the box to install the Alpine 8" LCD touchscreen navigation receiver in your 2013-up Nissan Altima. The vehicle+radio harness contains five Molex connectors which plug into your Nissan Altima's factory radio harness. On the other end of the harness are two 16-pin connectors which plug into the included Nissan radio replacement interface module (KCX-SRMNSN) and the radio connector port on the back of the Alpine 8" LCD touchscreen navigation receiver. In addition, you will need to make three hardwired connections between the supplied vehicle+radio harness and your vehicle's Parking brake (Yellow/blue), Foot brake (Yellow/black), and Ground (black). There is also a remote turn-on lead (Blue/white) to connect an aftermarket amplifier.
Note: For Bose systems, unplug the speaker harness of the included vehicle+radio harness and replace it with the supplied RCA harness. Then, connect these RCA connectors to the RCA outputs on the back of the Alpine 8" LCD touchscreen.
Steering Wheel Controls: For 2013-up Nissan Altima vehicles with factory steering wheel audio controls, the KTX-ALT58 retains the capability to control the Alpine 8" LCD touchscreen navigation receiver's volume, source, and playback controls. There is no additional programming required, simply plug & play. The 3.5mm connector of the included vehicle+radio harness plugs into the 3.5mm remote input of the Alpine 8" LCD touchscreen receiver.
