Soundstream HDM-A2 Cable
Micro-USB 5-pin to HDMI/USB cable — connects Galaxy S II phones and other select Android devices to a receiver/monitor with an MHL input
Our take on the Soundstream HDM-A2 Cable by Crutchfield's Buck Pomerantz
Mobile High-Definition Link (MHL) lets you play HDTV on the road
Want to play high-definition content from your mobile device and watch it on a larger, higher-resolution screen? Soundstream's HDM-A2 interface cable makes that dream a reality for owners of Galaxy S II phones and many other Android devices. This 5-foot cable enables you to play 1080p video and 8-channel audio from an MHL-enabled device, like your smartphone, to a multimedia player with an HDMI/MHL input.
Charges your phone while you play a video
The MHL interface uses HDMI and USB plugs, along with some new technology, to send crystal-clear uncompressed digital video and audio through a single cable to deliver truly outstanding pictures and sound. The HDM-A2 cable also charges the battery of your portable device, so it's always ready to rock.

Soundstream HDM-A2 Cable Reviews
Average Customer Review(s):
Thanks for submitting your review
Micro-USB 5-Pin to HDMI/USB Cable: The Soundstream HDM-A2 is a micro-USB 5-pin to HDMI/USB cable which allows you to connect MHL-enabled Android smartphone devices that feature a 5-pin microUSB connector (such as the Galaxy S II) to your home and car audio/video components equipped with an HDMI input and USB type-A port. Through its full-size HDMI connector, the HDM-A2 cable supports 1080p video and 2ch audio. The HDM-A2 will also charge your MHL-enabled Android smartphone via its USB type-A connector. Because the USB connector pig-tails from the HDMI connector, your home or car audio component's HDMI and USB input must be less than 3" apart. The total length of the cable is 5'.
