Overview: With The Bridge II iPod Dock you can play music, still photos, and video stored on select Apple iPods through select Harman/Kardon receivers. The Bridge II uses a single cable connection to the receiver and offers convenient features such as iPod charging, onscreen display for content navigation and selection (when playing music only), and remote operability via a compatible HK receiver's remote control. To play video or still photos the system must be in the Manual Mode and menus are only displayed on the iPod (not a connected TV monitor). In the Manual Mode the controls on the iPod can be used, in addition to the controls on the receiver and its remote. The Bridge II is compatible with any HK receiver that's Bridge- or Bridge II-ready (Bridge-ready receivers require the included interface adapter).

iPod Compatibility: The Bridge II dock is Made for iPod compliant and is compatible with the iPod models and features listed in the table below. Song titles appear on the receiver's display panel and the song title, artist, album, and elapsed/total time (song) appear on the connected video monitor. The iPod is controlled using the buttons on the receiver, the receiver's remote control, or on the iPod (Manual Mode). In order to play video or still photos from the iPod the system must be in Manual Mode. Note in the chart below that the iPhone is not compatible:
