Conflicted but happy overall
Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)
I am a somewhat conflicted with this one. Assembly went pretty well until I got to the door assembly. I could not get the door to shut smoothly no matter what I tried so I have to assume there is supposed to be some friction at the bottom so as not to just swing open on its own. The wood is very soft - I barely bumped the tall side and it left a dent in the wood. The one shelf appeared to be cut at the factory with a butter knife so the natural wood color was left exposed in the front instead of being solid black so I had to hand paint the front of this shelf with my daughter's art supplies so it didn't stand out so much (painted other scratches and dents as well). Other than all of that the cabinet is really beautiful and pretty solid. Equipment looks great on it with plenty of space. Love the lower shelves as well. So really not the best quality but stunning to look at so I guess I'm happy with it.
Pros: Beautiful. Solid shelving.
Cons: Craftsmanship and quality so so.
