Are you looking to add some bass to your ride without all the headaches of matching up a sub with a compatible amp and enclosure? Rockford Fosgate has created the P300-10 powered sub, a perfect match of enclosure, sub, and amp that allows you to avoid all the complex mathematics. You'll love the powerful impact this enclosure adds to your favorite tracks, and you'll rest easy knowing that you're getting tried-and-true Rockford Fosgate performance.
The P300-10 comes equipped with a 10" woofer paired up to a built-in 300-watt amplifier. Sounds great! Can't believe the punch it has! Definitely recommend!
Super clean install, sub hits very hard!
Pros: Very nice.
This sub has good sound. It's also got a small footprint making it easy to place. It's quick disconnect tabs mean that if I need that third row seat, I can disconnect the sub in 10 seconds and be done. I will tell those people in the third row they're taking away from my driving experience though. Pioneer head unit and pioneer speakers, I couldn't be happier. If you're looking to thump at the light, it's just loud enough to hear outside the car with the windows up (at half bass level).
Pros: Nice sound, easy to install, small footprint.
Cons: Crutchfield's price for this item is higher than every other retailer.
No fuss, smooth response for many music types and doesn't take a lot of space
Pros: Smooth Responsive Well Built
Cons: if anything, price... but you get what you pay for!
This review is similar to the RF 50 watt amp I left. This 10" sub really cooks. Coupled with the JVC head unit, 4 JVC speakers and Rockford 50 watt amp that I just added from Crutchfield, my Mustang is rockin' down the highway. The sound all these components generate really puts a smile on my face. I could write a book on the install, which has nothing at all to do with the equipment I selected. Main problem is working in an '07 Mustang. It's a lot like working in a phone booth. You basically have to disassemble your entire interior if you want to do it right, running wires properly and most importantly, unseen. (even had to pull the right front wheel and remove an inner fender panel to run the power cable) And of course it wasn't without calling the tech guys at CF (I believe it was 5 times) but I couldn't have done it without their help. A HUGE shout out to Wes and TJ (I hope I have the initials correct) because both were extremely helpful with a lot of issues I was creating on myself. Being an old guy still stuck in the '60's, I haven't kept up with technology like I should, and it's been a challenge trying to keep pace. Also want to thank Dolly for all her help too, along with a couple others in tech that were there when I needed them. All in all, a very pleasant experience. My first dealings with CF was back in 1988 and they were just as good back then as they are today. Rock ON
Pros: really adds great bass punch, easy to hookup, simple controls
Cons: should've gotten one sooner
I installed the Punch P300-10 into a 2008 Subaru Forester this afternoon. All I can say is wow! This really thumps for a powered sub. Buy it, you wont be disappointed.
Pros: easy install, thumps...
Pros: Knocks. No complaints. Just what I needed.
Very easy to install and sounds great! Have it hooked up in my 05 Cummings behind my driver seat and it fits perfectly
Love it. Sounds great. Jenny in chat recommend it.
Pros: Great sounding.
This is a very nice package that sounds great and is very easy to install and set up. I placed this in the trunk of my 2017 Mustang to increase the lower bass notes for my stock radio and it does a great job.
Pros: Detachable wiring harness if you need to remove it for extra storage space in your trunk or hatch .
Cons: Nothing at the time of this review .
Pros: Very solid bass. Plenty of power. Fit perfectly in my Jeep Wrangler.
Great sub. Nice size, sounds good. Probably one of the best values on the Crutchfield website.
I installed the P300-10 in my boat, and mounted it below the helm/wheel, raised up on PTFE (waterproof) blocks to keep it away from the floor and protected from water and moisture. Important Note if you are considering doing the same: It is not waterproof. However, where I have it installed it should give me years of trouble-free service. After a full season last summer of boating, it performed flawlessly, and I am still amazed at how tight and loud this sub plays. Boats and open air areas are really challenging to deliver effective bass, and I was not expecting much from a 10" in a sealed enclosure. But it's simply amazing. I was looking for a "musical" sub, that delivered tight bass and this sub delivers. My system consists of a Sony marine head unit, a Sony 600w 4 channel amp powering 8 in-boat speakers (Infinity 6.5" 2 ways with high-pass filter enabled), and this sub. It all works great together, extremely pleased!
Pros: Price, fit and finish, performance, reliability, ease of installation, appearance
I had a Kenwood 8" powered sub in my Jeep Wrangler before this and it was more than double the bass and sound. Not only was I surprised but a little shocked that much bass was hitting in that size box. I'd be more than happy to buy this item again for any vehicle. I was super easy to setup and get going.
Pros: Everything- nothing about this item is disappointing.
Cons: Nothing as of yet.
Exactly what I was looking for. Big bass to supplement a factor system. Clear, concise and crisp bass that you can feel in your car. It is easy to disconnect when you need the extra space in your trunk. Sturdy construction and excellent sound. The bass remote is helpful to manage the bass depending on the song/type of music. definitely recommend this to anyone who wants an affordable and simple solution to more bass.
The product is very simple to install and delivers exactly what you need to beef up a factory sound system. It fits perfectly in the trunk of 2010-2015 Camaro, almost like it was made to fit under the back deck. Turns on when it gets a signal from the rear speakers. Adjustable gain control routes to the front seat. The first unit I received was defective, it had me frustrated thinking I had a bad ground. After receiving the second unit I plugged it into my previous wiring and it worked great.,
Pros: Simple install, good sound, versatile, quick disconnect plugs, adjustable gain control to front seats.
Cons: First unit I received would not turn on. Had to send back. Second unit worked great.
Installed this subwoofer in my 2016 Honda Accord LX. The bass in the stock system was terrible so I added two Rockford Fosgate X3 speakers in front which helped the bass very little. So, I went ahead and purchased this sub from Crutchfield. I considered the music I listen to (rock, classic rock, metal, alternative rock) so I figured I wanted something that would not impact my wallet too much, easy to install, and offers a tight bass note for the drum and guitar. I believe that this 10" non-ported sub has done just that. This sub is very easy to install and take out of your vehicle whenever you need to due to the quick harness it comes with. I also love that it comes with a remote to control the volume instead of pulling over, opening the truck, and crawling in to adjust the gain. I did not give the speakers 5 stars because I believe that there should be more options for adjusting the bass boost. Overall, I am very happy with the price, ease of install, and overall sound quality. ***** This vehicle is equipped with ANC (Active Noise Cancellation) which is two microphones in the headliner that "hear" low end noise coming from the engine, road, etc. and communicate to a computer and the speakers. The computer and speakers then produce a sound that counteracts the road noise or engine noise. This system REALLY gets in the way with installing the subs. You MUST disable or cut the wires prior to install. It took me two weeks to figure this out.
Pros: Great price, good sounds quality, and easy to use and install.
Cons: Not enough options for adjusting the bass.
Sounds great and fits perfectly in the back of my jeep
Pros: Compact size Good sound Easy hookup
Excellent subwoofer to add to my factory Harmon Kardon system in my BMW. Really gives it the depth of sound that I was looking for and makes the whole system sound way better. Definitely worth the price and is a great way to add deeper sound to any stereo. Was going to buy a JL Audi sub but the price on this was way better and I cant imagine the other one would sound any better than this RF Punch subwoofer.
I don't usually review but I had to. This sub is great for what it is. I installed jbl speakers in the front and rear of my 2008 civic and put this in the trunk. My system sounds great and clean. The sub packs enough power for me although I may upgrade to the 12. I've had it about 3 weeks with no problems. I would recommend this to anyone that wants a sub but doesn't want to go all out with amp, box and sub. Good price and happy with the quality. Nice job Rockford.
Fantastic thump, also it gives you that ported sound base so it gives you very low base feel. This will appeal to a broad range of listeners. The size is excellent and the materials used by Rockford are of high quality. I highly recommend this to any genres listeners.
Pros: Great sounding base. Excellent materials used for construction. Plug & Play, literally. Great bang for the buck. 300 RMS = No slouch. Rockford Fosgate = Trusted name, quality products.
Cons: None so far.
Love it, just what I needed. Great Upgrade from the Sound ordnance.
Great low end. More than enough for my 2015 Tacoma Access cab. I didn't use the built in LOC and bought my own. I also used the remote wire to a fuse instead of the audio sensor. Installed to my factory stereo with no issues this way.
Pros: Clean, excellent low end.
Cons: All good so far.
This sub sounds amazing, I recently purchased a 2017 mazda 3 hatchback, I originally put a low profile sound ordinance 8" powered sub wich did add some bass but wanted a little more. I purchased the Rockford Punch p300 wow night and day difference and fits perfect! I'd highly recommend the P300! And just a side note I love Crutchfield, always outstanding service and support! Bravo
Pros: Robust cabinet, protected speaker grill, easy secure connection compact loaded sub superb bass!
Great product easy install all necessary hardware included and Velcro holds very well to carpet would definitely purchase again
Pros: Easy install adds that missing bass to a basic sound set up
Excellent value and really great sound. Having a subwoofer completely changes how you listen to music in your car. The sub enables you to feel the music as much as hear it. This particular sub allows you to dial up and down how much bass you "feel". That changes depending on the song and your mood. Very cool. Crutchfield explained everything extremely well and the installation process what flat out fun! I really enjoyed the project.
Pros: reasonable price, very good sound quality, lots of features to help you sculpt the sound you want.
The customer service is awesome and price match is a bonus. Great PUNCH for a great price, and customer service can't be beat!!!
Easy install and great sound!
Awesome clean sound with lots of adjustments available
I just had this baby installed today.. I was looking for that little depth in my music and at the same time not to bother the car next to me.. Anyways, this P300-10 is exactly wan my 2015 Hyundai Elantra has been missing all this time.. I have the bass control cranked all the way down next to the minimum and it still gives that lil punch needed to enjoy any music. This may not be enough power for some customers but it is exactly what I was looking for..
Pros: Size is great.. fits in perfect in my trunk.. Great punch for my factory head unit
Cons: Still a day old so I don't have any issues so far
Great addition to any factory system. Sure to satisfy your bass needs for all types to music. Easy install, doesnt take up much space, and not hard on the pocket.
Pros: Small, great bass, price, quality, simple and its flexibility.
Cons: Remote gain switch doesnt blend well.
Super easy install. Sounds great. The velcro holds the box in place great.
Pros: Sounds great. Low cost.
Installed in 1997 Chevy 3/4 Ton Truck. Wow! This has the tight bass and power required for any vehicle. Don't waste the time buying individual amp, crossover and high pass filters when you can get a an engineered Rockford Fosgate unit. No popping during initial power-on, no static audio introduced from power source. Recommend using the Rockford Fosgate Amp Kit and RCA cables to avoid unnecessary noise and static.
Pros: - Mountable and adjustable gain switch for sub-woofer output - RCA plug or speaker plug lo or hi level woofer input - Nice low, blue light glow from speaker input area
Cons: - Tight fit for some vehicles adhere to box measurements - Rear panel of sub-woofer is angled /will not stand tightly against wall, unless you tilt rearward
Wow is all i have to say this along with my Clarion NX604 my Town Car sounds great .Ive even turned heads and was told my car sounds nice not too loud and no bass rattles but when i pull up beside other cars i get a lot of knods. And the folks at Crutchfield i cant thank you enough so folks dont sleep on the Punch P300-10 i almost did its a great choice.
Pros: Easy hookup and great bass just adjust to your liking and your done.
This is a great sounding bass and amp combo. I was replacing a previously installed 8" powered sub (Blaupunkt) in my Landcruiser, the 8" somehow lacked the punchiness and the lower end bass. I got a great deal on a scratch and dent item. This sub exceeded my expectations! it does not take a lot of space and it has the option of being unplugged and removed if space is needed. I makes may stock system sound awesome. Paired with a kenwood receiver, just a few tuning touches on the LPF and HPF on the receiver plus the gain and boost controls on the sub made it sound great. I also like that, you don't hear any "pops" when you turn it on or off, my previous speaker had this annoying problem. Overall, recommended for a simple sub setup that sounds punchy not muddy.
a while back i bought the Rockford Fosgate p300-10 and just got around to installing it and i wanted to give a good review because it is Outstanding! Exceeded my exspectation by alot and plenty of bass!
Pros: Everything about it!
I bought to complete my system in my Honda crv. I wanted something simple and easy to install myself. This Rockford hits in my crv. I listen to all kinds of music punk rock, country, rap, rock n roll etc... I like that it came with a bass control knob so I can adjust it on the fly. I recommend this if you want something to round out your system.
Pros: Sounds great in my crv. Works with all types of music.
Plenty of bottom for use in the trunk. Brings a 2000 Crown Victoria up to expected standards for a working musician. Completes an Alpine system with solid bottom - this combo will do the job unless you want to move the car next to you at the stop light... Size works great for the crown vic - it dissapears under the back deck next to the spare. Thanks crutchfield for measuring it ahead of time.
Pros: Velcro to trunk carpet and you are done. Set up is as easy as any bass add on. Run the cables and turn it on. Excellent phone help from Crutchfield - and no waiting.
Cons: None yet.
It's not as good as I wanted but it will do
Pros: For a sub amp combo it sounds amazing
I recently bought a Lexus ES350; despite loving the car, I was disappointed by the factory system. I learned this to be a common complaint, among other owners too. Also, I learned that there are now easy/low cost upgrade paths for the amp or speakers without replacing the whole thing with the Mark Levinson upgrade, which was out of my budget. I called Crutchfied; the sales rep recommended the Rockford Fosgate Punch P300-10. To add some power to the low-end and smooth out the bass. A week into it, I have to say that this was the perfect fix. I adjusted the system eq, and now it sounds much better--tight, punchy bass with authority. Not boomy/distorted. Overall, really please with my purchase.
Pros: Easy way to add 300w of power, right where it's needed--on the bottom! I like that it can be easily removed/relocated to another vehicle with the quick release plugs...makes it easier when returning leased car.
Cons: Takes up a bit of space in the trunk. I can live with it though; if necessary I can remove it if I need extra trunk space, temporarily.
This powered sub hits just as hard as everyone else's dual 10's or 12's, who end up never using their full power and this is 1/3 the price. You can also remove the sub from ur trunk when're u want. It's not a permanent enclosure. So if u need to put stuff in ur trunk just h plug the power cable. It's amazing.
Pros: Hits hard. The easy adjustable bass knob allows you to change the bass output for every song u play with ease.
Cons: No cons
Nice good quality
Pros: Sounds awesome
I'm in the audio business (home audio), and I love this sub. Boomy, loose, muddy bass, is inexpensive and gives me a headache. Clean, tight, fast bass is hard to achieve. The Punch 300-10 has more power and output than I'll ever need, in a compact, manageable size. More importantly, it delivers snappy, powerful bass with excellent frequency extension. Finally, it fits neatly behind the passenger seat of my Ford-F150. Looks like it was custom designed for that spot.
Pros: Compact size. Superb performance. Reasonable price.
The installation was quick and easy and the sound is top notch for a 10"!!
Pros: Sound quality Size Ease of install
If you want a complete sound from the bottom to top you must have a Sub. Rockford Fosgate knows how to complete your Audio system with the 10 inch Sub P300-10. Beautiful case and nice finish that fits well in the trunk of my Nissan Sentra. Adds so much to my music experience. Crutchfield does it best in getting the job done to the highest of your expectations.
Pros: Full sound, fills out the void of bass sound with only regular front and rear mounted speakers. Space saver with removable cable if need temporary removal to use trunk for luggage. Nice cabinet for 10 in speaker.
Sounds great and helps me forget I'm driving an old Saturn.
Pros: Didn't have to mount a separate amp so when I sell this used car for almost nothing, I can simply take the sub out and put it in another car.
Cons: None so far.
I can not believe how much difference adding this 10 inch sub makes. Sometimes, I just sit in the car after I get home from work to listen to some tunes because it just sounds that good. Can't wait to add some fosgate speakers to replace the front and rear factory speakers.
Pros: Nice bumping for the price. Fairly easy to install.
This was incredibly easy to install for the general do-it-yourself'er. It has all the controls you need to tweek it and dial it in, which is half the fun. I haven't even upgraded my head unit yet, I was just adding some Polk db651s to replace dead speakers and decided to pick this up. I read so many reviews that I nearly installed it and dialed it in from coments I had read. I had literally zero issues installing it, just wired it up using the suggested rockford fosgate amp install kit, which was also great, btw and flipped it on and BOOM. I also had to modify almost nothing aside from a ground screw. A lot of reviewers said they weren't looking for the 16yo in a honda thump but theres no way this isn't peircing nearby walls and making people look around to see where the bass is comming from. Also, its got pretty impressive range. For a single 10 in an amped enclosure it brings a very fullfilling presence. At the price its no wonder everyone's saying they're picking up another for their other vehicles. I'm thinking about picking up another one for my brother, myself. I got this one because of the endless string of reviews saying the infinity dies in under a year so as long as it holds up, I'm a very happy camper. There weren't as many reviews for this one but I didn't find any stating that it died and very few seemingly baseless reviews(here and across the web), and its clear why. If you're on the fence, get off.
Pros: Great value, high quality, versatile(for a sub), simple to install, incredible sound
This is a good value subwoofer package. Having amplifier and sub speaker in the same box makes it easy to install. I bought this along with the good quality RFK8i wiring kit and got an additional year of warranty from Rockford. The remote gain works great, adjusting bass level when playing music from different sources. It delivers more bass than I expected. Doesn't take much space in a corner of the trunk, where the velcro straps included hold it tight.
Pros: Good bass, remote gain control knob, easy to install
Purchased this sub open box along with two highly rated middle of the road (price wise) pairs of 6x8 2-way speakers to replace the stock speakers in my Ranger. One pair Infinity and the other Polk. The best $ I have ever spent. Sincerely. This sub is fantastic! Articulate and powerful. For those of us with a stock head unit the mountable dedicated bass level knob adds eq flexibility. I'm a extreme metal nerd with a major soft spot for Aphex Twin. This sub handles both the intensity of the aggressive drums and bass of your favorite death metal and the mammoth bass presence electronic music demands with plenty of power to spare. Spend the extra $30 or $40 and skip the 8" 100 watt sub you're thinking about buying. This box will make sitting in rush hour traffic the favorite part of your day.
Pros: Clean, powerful and articulate bass delivery, external bass level adjustment knob allows you to eq in just the right amount of low end to suit any artist in your music collection, affordable and quality made
Cons: Spending more on gas as I'm now always looking for an excuse to hop in the truck and pump up the jams
The sound in my car was factory and really weak. Both the sub and new speakers and my car just sounds amazing. Totally worth it.
Great high quality subwoofer package. Easily installed and sound quality is great.
Pros: well built, quality components
Compact and well built system. Way more bass than I expected. The entire enclosure fits well between the third row seat and rear door. I recommend this sub to everyone I talk to.
Pros: Easy install, powerful sound.
I added this powered sub to my 02 Mini Cooper S. The tight, crisp bass this puts out blows me away. I have had much larger systems with multiple woofers and this little dynamo impresses me the most. The amount of bass fills my little Mini perfectly. If you want to add bass without breking the bank, this is the piece for you. 5 stars is not enough
Pros: Size, sound, price
I bought this for my Tacoma to give it some bass with my 6.5 Polks, and totally happy I did. Huge bass, and super high quality. Installed very easy, and came with everything I needed. The remote gain control is works perfect.
Pros: HIgh quality, great sound, easy install, priced well
I've always thought car stereo subs were the most annoying thing on the road. Until I heard this one in a friends 2010 Charger. I'm a older driver who doesn't need to announce to the world that I have a sub in my car. The Camaro Boston Acoustics system does not include sub woofer in the 9 speaker set up. This one fills the void and has enough thump to satisfy most drivers. Trust me it is loud enough that it can shake the car windows and the dirt off the car. But not like those annoying oil drum size subs that are out there. My taste in music varies a lot so being able to control the amount of bass with the music with the twist of a knob and not needing to go into the stereo settings was a big plus. A Camaro trunk is small. But positioned correctly and there is still ample trunk space to haul groceries. In short this is a great sub for those that don't feel the need to draw attention to themselves and wake up the whole block doing it.
Pros: Price and performance are unbeatable. Easy install.
Cons: None that I can think of
Amazing subwoofer for the money. You need that boom in your daily commute? This box is for you! No worries about having extra wires, or having to worry about a seperate amplifier taking up your trunk space.
Pros: Simple setup, looks nice, sounds nice
Perfect fit under extended cab Chevy back seat. Nice bang for buck too. Real easy installation
I wasn't sure is if the sub would fit in my extended cab truck but it fits perfectly under the rear seats. Very pleased and can't believe how much bass comes from a little 10" speaker. Highly recommended!!
Pros: Loud. Clear
I installed the new JVC receiver I got from Crutchfield and the factory speaker were fine but did not have enough bass. I ordered this sub and installed myself. The bass and sound is great. In fact it is a little too much but the remote volume control takes care of all that. It looks like I could have got away with a smaller sub but it is better to have too much than too little. I am very satisfied.
Pros: Compact size, strong box, attached amp.
Cons: None so far.
Pretty good sounding, perfect amount of bass to compliment the Fosgate door speakers I also installed.
Pros: Built in Amp is convenient for my under backseat install
Super easy install. The sub sounds great & doesn't take up much room.
Pros: Small footprint Great sound Easy install
Did a lot of research going back-and-forth between bazooka tubes and boxes, self amplified or not, 8 inch or 15 inch ,After speaking to the professional sales reps at Crutchfield and seeing many positive reviews and high sales I decided to go with this quality product by the leader in the industry! and I couldn't be happier i did! I'm 40 now so I no longer need 2 12s with a 600 W amp so my friends and neighbors could hear me coming!Lol, but I did want something that would make my music enhanced, add some bass to my 89 Mustang and also maybe turn some heads, this definitely fit the bill in more ways than one ! Install was easy and It's compact enough where it won't take up your entire trunk, it even has a quick disconnect to remove if you have to which is a nice feature, I adjusted all the settings to my liking and really like the adjustable bass/gain remote that I wired in my glove compartment , this baby hit's hard enough where it will make you smile and enjoy your favorite genre of music all over again! I was lucky enough to grab it on sale and 300 watts definitely out shines the competition,I like it so much I'm going to buy one for my work car!, look no further you will not be disappointed with this quality 10 inch sub that is sure to satisfy!
Pros: Quality sound that kicks! Price range, reputable name in the industry, compact, ease of installation, remote
This little sub suprised me!! Its not gonna give u earth shattering bass but it definitely pushes out some sound! If u want something easy to install, small and tough, pick this up!
I have had it for about 2 months now. It replaced an Infinity Bass link I have had for about 10+ years? I did a bunch of research prior to buying this P300-10 and decided to go with it more or less to give it a try (was reluctant to buy another basslink). I admit that I do not have the most sophisticated ear so tuning and such are not my strong suits, I just like having bass. So I gave it 4 stars as my old Basslink was better. If I had to do it all over again, I would buy another Basslink, (2 reasons more bass and the basslink fit better in my truck). If I read all the literature and deals when buying this P300-10 I should be getting an extended warranty from Fosgate for buying at the same time the RFK8i wiring kit.
Pros: Good quality Nice remote easy install nice quick disconnect
Cons: Could be a little more compact not as much bass as my old Infinity Basslink
This is a great speaker/ amp combo! I installed it in a 2005 Mitsubishi Eclipse. Very powerful bass and clear sound!
Pros: Very powerful bass!
I had originally bought the Bazooka BTA850FH which is ok for the price but didn't have enough bottom end for my tastes so I ordered the Rockford for my civic coupe Wow!! what a huge jump in lowend and overall sound. Plenty of bottom end to pair with my stock head unit and speakers for the time being. The punch level control is a great feature to tailor to whatever your listening to. I think its the best bang for your dollar for an add on to a stock system and after market. Enough lowend to shake the mirrors and not go deaf...
Pros: Loud , easy install ,doesnt take up alot of trunk space, built in crossover and DB boost.
Great sub for my Jeep. Produces powerful support to the low ends of my type of music (Rock and Rap). Being adjustable provides the ability to add a little or a lot of bottom end to whatever I may be listening to or whatever mood I may be in.
Pros: Great sound, reasonably easy to install for a novice with the help of Crutchfield or YouTube, great price.
Cons: None so far.
Awesome provides plenty bass and can accommodate all music genres easy to tune and doesn't take up space This can be either a low end filler or set up to shake the car
Pros: Hits hard, can take abuse, has top notch quality.
Improved over all sound of my basic stereo. Big bass.
Pros: Easy to install. Just plug and play
This unit far exceeded my expectations. I've been researching for months to try and find a compact powered sub that will give you sufficient bass in a jeep with the top down. Hands down, this is the unit! This was an easy install thanks to Crutchfields video and everyone that's heard it is blown away at how much bass comes out of this thing. I highly recommend this unit to round out the bottom end of your music.
Pros: Easy install, extreme value for the money, clean quality sound and fine tuning ability with the bass knob when changing genres of music.
Cons: Absolutely none.
I've had this in the trunk of an Altima for about a month now. It does't provide huge mirror shaking bass, but that's not what I was looking for. It allows you to hear and slightly feel the bass in your music.
Pros: Good price, not overpowering bass.
Cons: None yet.
This sub woofer really makes the car stereo.
Pros: great clean bass
Cons: takes up some room in the rear hatch of the car
Very nice quality, easy to install, more bass than anyone needs in an XJ Jeep.
Pros: Easy setup, sounds great, no issues.
Cons: None really if you understand the risks - may damage your ears, or vibrate stuff loose on your car.
I put this unit into a 2014 Ford Edge along with a JBL amp for the front and rear speakers, which were Infinity Kappa 6.2. Everything from Crutchfield after extensive research on their website. I was very happy with just the amp and the Kappas but I thought what the heck --do the sub as well. Absolutely blown away with the RF powered sub !! I can make it sound like a quake or keep it sane. The quality is very obvious in sound and construction and at the price it has the best value proposition out there. I am in my sixties but still wanna rock and this sure lets me.
Pros: Great quality sound and construction. Price point makes it the best in value proposition.
Great sound and easy to install
This is a great product. it packs a real punch. Easy to install and the bass knob is real handy to tweak the bass when you want. an all around excellent deal.
Pros: Affordable, hard hitting and a well made product
Way to complicated for a do it yourselfer with a factory Acura head unit. Unit works some times, but doesn't work most of the time. Contacted Crutchfield a number of times, they were friendly and offered help, but sub still doesn't consistently work. Had this been plug and play using RCA out's from the factory head unit, might be a different story, but this was a very complex speaker level install with cross overs and wires everywhere and no idea how to actually dial the unit in and get it to work. Not very happy. Would not recommend.
Pros: Sub looks good in the trunk.
Cons: Doesn't work 90 percent of the time. Way too complicated for do-it-yourselfer with a factory head unit.
This is my first sub. I have been using it about 4 weeks now and it gives me a great bottom end to get full range sound in the car. Installation was a snap. The unit is solid and compact. I really like the remote so I can adjust the output on the fly. Only thing that was a bit of a hassle is it needs to be fused at 30amps and Crutchfield does not carry 30amp AGU type fuses. I couldn't find anyone in my area that carried them so had to order from the Internet. Delayed installation by a week. If you order one of these and want to use the AGU type fuse which is in the wiring kits Crutchfield sells, you'll have to order your fuses else where. Do it right away. The other item that seemed a bit cheap is the RCA adapter for the signal line.
Pros: Excellent quality sound Excellent construction Great remote feature Easy installation
Cons: Fused at 30amps, difficult to find in AGU style Cheap RCA signal adapter
I installed this sub on Christmas Eve morning in the trunk of my 2012 Chevy Sonic. I had recently upgrated the Sonics stock HU with a Kenwood DPX501BT Hu and some lower priced Kicker speakers in the front door from Crutchfield and a pair of pioneer surface mounted speakers on the rear deck as my sonic had no rear speakers. I was very happy with the sound I was getting. My metal and prog rock sounded great. The idea of a sub never came to me until I had happened to be browsing Crutchfields site and stumbled upon powered subs. I usually associated subs with annoying overbearing Rap "music". I was leaning toward the Sound Ordnance sub for under the seat, but when this Rockford Fosgate price dropped to onlt a little more than the So, I pulled the trigger. Man am I glad I did. This bad boy sounds awesome. Installed was really a breeze, hardest part I'd say was getting thru the sturdy rubber grommet on the fire wall. Once that was done things went quick. I did have to call Crutchfield Tech support because once everything was hooked up, I could not get sound, but had power. Support talked me thru a few things and we still got no sound. The thought it might be defective, so an order for a replacement was put in. After hanging up, I decided to just plug in the optional Bass Boost control. Turned the volume up to the 1/2 way mark a BAMM! Subby was working. Although this is an optional remote, I think you may need to plug it in and turn it up a bit initially. outta characters. LOVE IT!
Pros: Sound Quality Easy Set Up Doesn't take up a lot of Trunk Space
Cons: None Yet
I purchased this powered sub after looking and reading the many positive reviews i found for this powered sub. I needed to fill a lower end sound i was missing with my stock stereo system on my 2016 Honda Accord Sport. I did not want to change the factory speakers at this time untill I tried doing a couple of things first. I added a set of pioneer tweeters that fit in by the upper front section of the door area to give me some missing high end sound , then i added my Rockford Fosgate powered sub to fill in the low end thump. I'm very happy with the way the system sounds at this time without having to go crazy upgrading all the speakers and adding an amplifier. I listen to many different types of music and i have a very good sounding system for less than $200.00 invested at this time. Anyone with a Honda Accord with the standard stereo should defenetly try this set up and it will not dissapoint you.
Pros: Great powered sub for less than $200.00
This sub is perfect for my G35. It has awesome bass for being an all in one sub package.
Pros: Nice quality, easy to hook up, convenient sub gain controller.
Cons: Nothing so far
I purchased this Rockford Fosgate 10" subwoofer as a Christmas gift. The subwoofer was easy to install, as I purchased a wiring kit to augment the connection between the vehicle and existing stereo system. We are extremely satisfied, as this subwoofer delivers exceptional low-end punch and powerful bass. This unit is a powered subwoofer, and requires RCA line inputs or has the option to splice wires and use signal level inputs from speaker wires if the head unit does not have a sub-RCA line out. Additionally this unit comes with a subwoofer remote control unit capable of controlling the subwoofer; this control knob provides the capability to control the level of subwoofer volume from the drivers seats without making adjustments on the subwoofer box.
Pros: 1. Ease of installation. 2. Powerful bass reproduction 3. Adjustable bass level control unit.
this sub really brought my system to life great sound and clarity
Pros: easy install good sound and it fits nice in the trunk of my car without taking up to much space
This is more the climax to my story than the story itself. I have a 2005 Toyota Sienna. I decided the sound system was woefully short on highs so I decided to upgrade. I purchased a Kenwood Digital Media Receiver from Crutchfield. A week later I ordered Rockford Fosgate 6.5 component speakers for the dash and doors and 5.5 two ways for the rear. I like highs and many reviews talked about too much highs. I have never had to turn down highs before so I bought them thinking I can always turn down the treble. Well I had to. Also, just running the 40 watt RMS speakers off of a 22 Watt RMS deck they are underpowered and have zero bass. Which brought me to a crossroads. Do I order an amp and hope for bass or do I order a powered sub and fill in with an amp if needed. I chose the sub. WOW am I happy with this unit! No you won't break any windows but man does it fill in the holes! I would recommend this all around setup to anyone looking for crisp highs and nice but not overpowering lows. The balance I have right now is absolutely perfect and I haven't played much with the crossovers and gains. All I can say is wow. I can't imagine how it would sound in a smaller vehicle.
Pros: Nice rich bass. Remote gain control is incredible. Easy to install. I love everything about it!
Cons: Ummmmmm...uh...wait a minute...hmmmm...nothing.
Installed this today in my buddies 2012 Wrangler 2 door with the stock head unit. I was skeptical at first being a all in one enclosure but once I ran everything and started playing some music does this thing hit. I previously always had installed 2 12''s in my own vehicle but with the con of them being either to much for me or taking up to much space. This little 10 Hits hard and sound quality is great. Super easy to hook up and also super easy to disconnect with all the quick Disconnects. Ill be buying these from now own. Rockford did another awesome job.
Pros: Affordable, GREAT sound quality, Good hit.
I asked Levi to recommend a system for my 92 Mopar B-150 van. I initially gasped when I saw the price of what he came up with. It occurred to me that the vehicle is only valued at about that amount. Then I thought... this is my ride, it's worth it to me. I have never looked back, no regrets! My ride rocks, and the heart of the system is the Rockford Fosgate Punch P300-10. I also saved a significant amount going with a "scratch & dent".
Pros: Small footprint, HUGE performance.
Cons: Practically perfect in every way
It's enough to make my rearview mirror vibrate, make my ear drums tickle, and wiffle the skin on my arms. Compared to my son's Alpine 12" 1000w 1ohm - the Fosgate cannot quite shake the car as much, and I'd said it's about 90% to 95% of the same effect. I am very pleased with my dubstep tracks. Fosgate has a faster response time, too. It doesn't feel as delayed, or behind the beat, as much.
Pros: easy installation, remote gain control makes adjustment a breeze
Cons: sometimes I hear about a quarter of a second delay
Never had a powered subwoofer in any vehicle before. Was going by ratings and a little from customer rep on phone. I'm 57 yrs old, and don't need ear shattering bass, but I listen to a mix of C/W, and Classic Rock from 70's and 80's. Ran into a few snags along the way. 1st call to tech support, I told them what I had done so far and what checks I'd made and they told me they would send one out next business day, and they did. got the new one and had same problem. my voltage coming from my 12v switched wire on the factory unit was only 8-9 volts and I decided to go to another source. used 12v switched wire at ac control harness which measured 13-14 volts. that brought it to life. Got my turn on lead going through a rocker switch on the dash and the bass boost right next to it, a few inches from my head unit. perfect. Can't turn boost up more than half without it hurting my ears and the gain is at zero. Could have been satisfied with a lot less, but I'm happy.
Pros: Very powerful for just an extended cab silverado. Fast shipping and friendly customer support Good quality components is evident.
Cons: Very minor to me, but tech support guy should have known 8-9 volts for the turn on lead was too low. Even though the power light was on, there was not sufficient voltage to power the amp. No, I don't remember his name and it doesn't really matter. I got it going and am happy.
Nice sub. I tried the sound ordance 8" to fit under the back seat in my honda element, but the door speakers with the amp were putting out more bass, so back it went and I upgraded to the next level with the RF P300. Nice bass, pretty loud and deep. I would almost rather it be ported to give a little more kick. Fits behind the seat well, it's quite narrow. With the right signal turned up all way it will really fill out the bottom end well without running out of steam. But just enough. I'm certainly no bass junkie but I like a full kick on the bass end and this one is just enough. Anything less wouldn't be enough. At least not in an element. Be sure to run a large enough cable to it.
Pros: Nice quality nice bass sound decent price for what you get.
Cons: A tube sub would probably have more bass at the same size and price range but this fits in more spaces.
Exactly what I was looking for ! ordered on Wednesday night and item was sitting on my front porch Friday afternoon . Sounds great and very easy to install . I didn't want to take up my trunk with a speaker box with 2 10 inch subs in a speaker box and this gives me the sound and room I was looking for !!!!
Pros: Sounds great very easy to install . I used to be a stereo installer so it was simple to install .
Product performs as well as I'd hoped it would. I'm glad I went for this instead of a tube. I like tight, accurate bass and this just barely tunes the way I like it. I would buy again.
Pros: Sound, price, convenience
Cons: wiring harness
Sounds and works great! Easy to install with a slight knowledge of your car.
self installed 2003 ram standard cab I am 64 years old still in the 60's, prog rock never sounded like it does with this sub, new Pink Floyd really stomps. turn it up
Pros: easy hook up even for old timers
Cons: does not flyfish
I have a 2004 BMW 330XI. I wanted to conserve trunk space, so I was "settling" for this smallish all-in-one unit. I don't know what I was expecting. My last setup was separate amp and 10" sub. I guess I thought this would be much worse. As the title suggests, I was blown-away by the sound and accuracy. I read repeatedly of how sound-proof BMW trunks are and how I would have to drive around w/ my rear seats down. That's SO not the case! Can't be happier with this. Buy this...you will not be disappointed.
Pros: Great accurate bass!! Won't shatter windows, but is plenty loud !! Small footprint conserves trunk space.
Great sound for my Charger. Easy installation and setup. It gives my ride the right amount of power without distortion from my front and rear deck 6x9's. Great product for the price!
Pros: Great sound & price.
Cons: None so far...
Good overall value. Bought it elsewhere for $164.
Pros: Good sound, great value.
Very good sound in an easy to install package. I installed this sub under the back seat of my Silverado extended cab. Sound is excellent with plenty of punch!
Pros: Great sound, easy to install
Rockford Fosgate will never let you down!
Pros: Super sounding bass and easy hook-up!
Initially had it installed by a shop since I didn't have the tools to do it while away at school. Wasn't too amazed by the product but just attributed that to the cost of it since they claimed they tuned it. Once I took the time to play with the gain, crossover, and boost to my liking and genre of music, I was absolutely amazed with the sub. Definitely provides more than enough bass to compliment your music at highway speeds. No idea how loud it can really be since I don't enjoy listening to only bass in my music so I have it tuned to compliment the music. I have it in a midsize SUV and I have no reason to even think about getting a second one. One of these is perfect.
Pros: Small form factor (for a 10" sub/amp), fits perfectly against second row of seats in my SUV, easy to adjust amp controls
excellent product clean deep bass easy to install , highly recommended
Never used a preamped sub before so I was a little hesitant but I have to say I have been quite impressed with it. Took away a lot of hassle I've had with other setups. Attached ground to a bolt in the back ran the power cable and signal wire to the deck and it was ready to bump. It won't shatter glass but it's definitely loud enough to gather attention. If you're looking for that extra deep clean crisp bass I'd recommend this product. With the added punch level adjuster from the sub you can dial it in to whatever music you're in the mood for without ever having to touch the sub. Also small enough to fit behind the seat of my regular cab truck. All in all great product highly recommend!
Pros: Minimal space, crisp sound, easy setup, and looks great.
Cons: I've nothing negative to say about it.
I bought this to go under the rear seat of my Supercrew and because it was an all in one package. It fits very tight but it does fit. Long story short, I am 30 yrs old and have been in sound for 15 yrs. This is by far one of the cleanest, most powerful subs that you will find for a single 10" package. Keep in mind the amp is cusom designed to match the sub so there is NO math to figure out on "true" RMS and makes the speaker very hard to blow. Be careful on the bass boost or you will distort the sub. DO NOT run it past 1/4 turn if your gain is wide open. I prefer no bass boost but the gain all the way. Two of these will definitely be heard by the neighbors but at one, it is a perfect but strong well balanced sound. Cant believe it is just one 10" sub!!! YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED
Pros: Many features built in, self amplified, compact, LOUD for one 10
Cons: NONE unless your looking for trunk rattling bass
I installed this in my 2010 F150 Supercrew cab and this thing does more than fill the entire truck with deep, clean sounding bass. I used to be a bazooka tube guy, but this hits harder, cleaner, and takes up less space. I also love the remote bass adjustment, which I installed right next to my steering wheel so I can adjust it according to the style of music I am listening to on the fly. In reality this has the potential to have more bass than you actually need. If you want more bass than this, then you are simply looking to show off or tick off your neighbors as you drive down the street. To be clear, if you crank this thing up, you can hear the bass out of the truck. The amp/woofer/enclosure combo is perfectly tuned to provide a very clean sounding bass. I do recommend keeping your "gain" setting low so that you get a clean sound. If you are on a tight budget, this is the way to go. You can install this without touching/replacing your factory deck or voiding your warranty. Once you buy the proper wiring kit (8 gauge), all you need is "posi-tap" connectors and 16 gauge speaker wire and tap into the rear speakers, no signal wire necessary. Obviously you still need to connect your 8 gauge power(red) to the battery and ground wire(black) to a metal screw on your vehicle. Because this amp has a hi-level / low-level converter built in, you still get quality sound tapping into the rear speakers.
Pros: Powerful clean sounding bass, very easy to install.
I replaced all of the speakers in my car and got an amp to power them, but it was lacking in that low bass it needed to be perfect, and if a song was heavy on bass my speakers would muffle a bit from trying to handle it. I got this sub to fix my problems and it did the trick. I put it in the back of my 2013 Scion tC, install was a breeze by the way took two hours by myself, and it does everything that i wanted it too. The bass is tight and loud if you wanted it to be. It's not going to make your ears bleed but it'll thump when you want it too. Takes the load off of my speakers and now I can really feel the music. My favorite part is the remote bass knob, great when switching between styles of music it lets me dial in just the right bass for the song.
Pros: Durable build quality, the metal mesh protecting the speaker is top notch. Easy install. Great sound quality. Powerful for its size. Amazing remote knob. Not too big to put in the back. Loud if you want it to be, but not obnoxious. Excellent crossover. Need I to continue?
Cons: None that I can find.
At first, i was skeptical about getting this, because i wasn't sure if the bass would be as loud as i wanted.... After starting it up, WOW! I was proved wrong this thing is loud! I used to have the Rockford P2L-212 subwoofer package and to compare to the P300-10, the P300-10 is smaller and almost as loud which is exactly what i wanted. I'm a 21 year old and I like my bass to be somewhat heavy at times and this unit will do the trick! My genre is rap, rock, and alot of club house/ dubstep music. I love this little thing it is clean when you want it to be and loud when you want it to be. You wont impress the block but you will impress the driver beside you! I would recommend this unit to anyone who likes jamming to there music or is just looking to fill the car with some nice lows.
Pros: Small, choice of remote turn on options is nice, good clean bass, quick connects for easy removal of unit
Cons: Doesn't do my laundry
Well worth the money. I had ordered a Sound Ordinance sub but it just didn't have what I was looking for. This has plenty of power and good sound. Fits well under the rear seat of my Nissan Titan. I am using this with a JVC head unit and Alpine speakers in the door. It fills the void for low end.
Pros: This piece can be had for less at other online stores but the service is what sells this for me.
Great Sub, in a tiny package. When needing a little more bottom end for my 2006 Volvo S40, I didn't have many options to choose from. Factory head unit is not upgrade-able. so adding a sub and amp was next to impossible. After looking into this combo, and discovering the auto on features, which do work surprisingly well, I figured I would give it a shot. Install was cake, and the sound is amazing. After having a JL 12-W7 in my last car, I wasn't expecting much. It's no W7, but it definitely fills the gap and makes things shake
Pros: Small Package (the sub that is!) Easy install. Price point is great
Cons: None so far.
Installed this sub in a 2012 Sprinter service van. Fits perfectly behind the drivers seat. Head unit is a Kenwood DPX-500BT. Music listened to is anything but rap. The sound is unbelievable. It won't rattle the mirrors but is more than enough to add just the right sub to the stock 5-1/4 component speakers. The remote bass boost control is very convenient.
Pros: Nice cabinet finish. Comes with a sturdy woofer grill. Good instruction manual. Easy to install. Great sound from a 10 inch sub
Cons: Remote bass control can't be mounted in the dash, only under. To mount on top of any surface, control is upside down.
I have a 2000 Pontiac Grand Prix 4-door, about a year ago replaced the stock speakers with RF Punch speakers. A few months ago a put in a new head unit, and I was still looking for more bass. I resisted buying a subwoofer for awhile, because I have a couple friends that have dual 12's in their trunk, and their setups are way to loud, and sound awful because all you can hear is the rattles in the car. So i decided on this powered subwoofer. I am VERY happy with the performance of this sub! The sound quality is awesome which is what my main focus was, but it can also get hit HARD. When I really wanna turn it up, I can easily get it to shake my rearview and side mirrors, without getting distortion or sacrificing sound quality. I now have the best sounding system out of all of my friends, and when i showed them this they all said, "all of that sound comes out of that?!?" So the bottom line is if you are looking for more bass, but you don't wanna rattle your car to pieces, get this sub! you will not be disappointed, you will be surprised how much sound this thing can put out! BTW the genres I listen to mostly is Hip-Hop and Rock
Pros: Adds alot of bass Great sound quality
What a great add to my 2006 Mazda 3. I recently added this powered sub to my Kenwood HU. This is a great sub with fantastic sound and punch. The installation was straight forward with no surprises. The remote gain knob is perfect for dialing in just the right amount of bass. I would strongly recommend this product to anyone.
Pros: Great performance Great price Small space requirements
Junior if you're looking for rattle the neighbor's house off the foundation or at least break the Glass Bass than this is not the one you're looking for and you best move on down the road. If however you want a nice lower end base that easily fits in small spaces and adds the beat you're missing than this is the one you want, it definitely hits the beat with a punch. It's small and great for smaller spaces like a pick up or small SUV, it definitely won't fill your trunk, but it will satisfactorily add the music you have been missing at a reasonable price. It also is easy to disconnect and I believe the best feature is the remote bass level control. This is an especially great feature if you switch music types like we do and want to have easy control of your bass level. I so much like this feature that I am of the thought it should be the standard on all Rockford Fosgate Subs.
Pros: remote bass level control
I wanted more bass in my 09 MDX. At first I was hesitant because I didn't want to go to the trouble of finding the right sub/amp combination and mounting the amp then building a box. Not to mention finding an input signal for the whole deal. Then I found out about the powered subs available and was leaning towards the Infinity BassLink2 until I read some bad reviews and discovered it was discontinued. So, I settled for what I thought would be the next best thing - the Fosgate P300-10. Well now that I finally have it connected (which was a pain) and have it tuned in, it cant be beat. I seriously believe this is the best 10" powered sub for the money.
Pros: Simple as running power and ground if you have low level inputs. Awesome sound and compact size.
Cons: A royal pain if you own a newer model Acura with factory system.
I have the factory stereo (not Bose) in my truck and have been pretty pleased with the sound quality. BUT, it really lacks bottom end when when I increase volume. I wanted to add bass without spending a ton of money or using a bunch of the cargo space that I bought the truck for in the first place. The common sense solution seemed to be a powered sub. However, I had my doubts about sound quality. The Rockford Fosgate Punch P300-10 turned out to be exactly what I was looking for. Fits perfectly under my rear sea. Its a great compliment to my factory unit and really easy to install. It sounds great and can be adjusted with the wired remote. if you want to fill your own space with great sound, you wont regret buying this sub. I also installed Rockford Fosgate component speakers on the front and 2 ways in the rear doors. and it sounds awesome.
Pros: compact, cheap,
Cons: Haven't found one yet.

I'm afraid we don't have any info on the woofer model included in Rockford's P300-10 powered sub. You will want to contact Rockford Fosgate's support directly for more information--you can reach them by phone at 800-669-9899 or check out their support site here: http://rftech.custhelp.com/ [ Larry Jul 11, 2017 ] Staff
no.[ eric Jul 02, 2017 ]
I think it would sound great. Mine is in the trunk of my Camry but gives good bass response. Simple to install and love the remote gain control[ Brian May 30, 2017 ]
I would think that it would sound great in any vehicle.[ MICHAEL J May 27, 2017 ]
I say yes! I have it in the trunk of my sedan and it rocks. Really fills out the sound of my Kenwood HU. So glad I bought it.[ Steve May 26, 2017 ]
Yes it will, I have one in my f250 and for the price I'm very impressed. I never turn the gain past short of halfway and it supplies plenty of clean bass.[ philip May 26, 2017 ]
No.[ HAROLD May 23, 2017 ]
With the speaker facing you the hook ups are to the left side[ Adrian Mar 08, 2017 ]
left[ Laurie Mar 08, 2017 ]
Theyre on the left side panel on the bottom 1/3rd. They are also recessed somewhat into the box.[ eric Mar 08, 2017 ]
WHen facing the speaker, the inputs are on your left.[ Steve Mar 07, 2017 ]
The left side[ Lindy Mar 07, 2017 ]
Left side[ MICHAEL J Mar 07, 2017 ]
It seems like it would, there are speaker level inputs you could tap into the rear speaker leads to get the signal, adjust the fader and tone controls and crossover on the sun and dial in a nice balance. Replacing the front speakers with some nice aftermarkets would probably make that a really nice sounding system. Of course another small amp on those would be even better..[ Brady Feb 20, 2017 ]
Grab one of the performance audio battery's from Crutchfield. Mount it somewhere easily accessible within 3 feet yet hidden if it matters to you (you'll want the wiring to be hidden by trim or floor lining). Grab 2 of the wiring kits which are like 50 each but they come with almost everything you need for each sub and directions on how to put everything together easily. You may need a radio receiver with 2 sub rca inputs. Not really experienced but went off of myour basic knowledge[ Jennifer Feb 05, 2017 ]
I would recommend contacting an Advisor by phone (1-800-324-9695) or online chat. They will be able to pull up your vehicle and give you the details on what fits, make some recommendations and determine what you will need for an installation in your vehicle.[ Kenny Feb 02, 2017 ] Staff
I have no Idea Sorry[ Adrian Jan 09, 2017 ]
No this is a self powered subwoofer there are no speaker outputs. You will need a separate power amp or run your speakers off the head unit.[ Brady Jan 08, 2017 ]
no this is has a built in amp for its own power, I have the same sub its great. good sound and quality. in my car I had to use a separate amp to power my other speakers. hope this helps you out and crutchfield has great tech support they helped me build a system that works well[ Shane Jan 08, 2017 ]
No, it only powers the sub. Its not a stand alone amp.[ MIKE Jan 07, 2017 ]
Sorry hit submit before I was finished. It depends on how your head unit works. I have mine set so alll bass only goes to sub and regular speakers only receive the treble[ Donald Jan 07, 2017 ]
I would recommend contacting an Advisor by phone (1-800-324-9695) or online chat to discuss compatibility with the Rockford P300-10 and your '12 Honda Ridgeline. They will be able to pull up your vehicle and go over all of the installation options in greater detail with you. I hope that helps![ Larry Sep 18, 2016 ] Staff
Yes, as long as your receiver is able to power it.[ Matthew Aug 29, 2016 ]
No. We only found 6" of clearance under the rear seats of the 2013 Ford SuperCrew cab and the dimensions of the Rockford Fosgate P300-10 are: 18-11/16"W x 13-3/8"H x 9-3/4"D1 x 6-1/8"D2 So, even if you laid it flat on it's back, you would need about 10" of clearance under the seat for it to fit. You may want to consider their compact powered model instead:http://www.crutchfield.com/p_575PS8/item.html It's only 3 3/8" thick and should fit under most factory seats as a result. I hope that helps! My Bio: http://www.crutchfield.com/Support/Bio.aspx?bio=5 [ Ryan Aug 31, 2016 ] Staff
I am not sure of the official answer. But i have removed and reinstalled numerous times with no problem.[ peter Jun 29, 2016 ]
You can. Or just wrap it in a no-conductive material just for safety. If it's going to be out for a long period than you should disconnect the battery.[ Carl Jun 29, 2016 ]
No just unplug from sub when car and Sub is off[ Donald Jun 29, 2016 ]
I am unsure as have bolted into trunk of 2016 Mazda 6 and it helps with low bass presence - still leaves room for luggage etc[ PAUL A Apr 28, 2016 ]
I'm sure it would it's not very big. It does work really well for its size. Good sound[ Brady Apr 19, 2016 ]
I would think that it would since it fits in the trunk of my BMW 330 convertible...just take measurements, the most important being the height, in this case 13 3/8 in. It was the only one that would work for me with the specs...you may have more options though.[ Anil Apr 19, 2016 ]
Yes, I used Velcro tape to secure it in place but maintain flexibility if I need to move or remove it.[ Timothy Apr 14, 2016 ]
Yes, use double sided velcro straps. They have worked well in my trunk. Does not move around at all. Had to screw the velcro strap into trunk board, but not the sub.[ lorenzo Apr 11, 2016 ]
Yes for my install i dyna matted the spare tire hole in a 99 jeep WJ and. All i had to use was Velcro sticky tape and it hasn't moved since the install and this is in a rock crawler so that should say something !!! Hope this. Helps in some way.[ Brandon Apr 11, 2016 ]
only if you manufacture or fabricate a bracket pacifically for your vehicle. There are no external mounting bracket's or holes. Good sounding subwoofer does a great job[ Carl Apr 11, 2016 ]
I used heavy Velcro . Just use the side with hooks. I was installing on carpet.[ Hamid Apr 11, 2016 ]

yes[ RICK Aug 25, 2015 ]
No, it isn't necessary. The RF has high level inputs that allow you to access the input from your speaker leads. Both the base Pioneer radio and the Nav radio in your Scion will work; however, be sure to get the input from the woofers in your car.[ Diane Aug 24, 2015 ]
Not if it has rca amp plugs I have it on my golf cart works good loud lots of bass.[ NEIL J Aug 23, 2015 ]
No you can keep the stock head unit, although I'd suggest swapping it. If you want to keep the stock head unit you will have to buy a line out converter and tap into the speaker lines.[ Korey Aug 23, 2015 ]
NO, just have to run power to your battery and one lead to any speaker. Pretty simple installation. Directions that co.e with it will tell you everything you have to do. Pretty good base to. Not overpowering.[ MICHAEL Aug 23, 2015 ]

You can install as many as will fit you will need separate power cables and inputs though.[ Brady Jan 08, 2017 ]
I was actually wondering the same thing. I have one of these as well and would like to get another one soon. Hopefully someone can answer this question for you.[ Ashlee Apr 16, 2015 ]
no issues here however I do live in Maine ambient temp here stays low except for a few summer months[ ryan Apr 13, 2015 ]
I haven't had any issues but I don't push the unit that hard for long periods of time.[ Jean-Frederick Apr 08, 2015 ]
Have notice no overheating. Plays well, sits in trunk of 93 318i.[ lorenzo Apr 08, 2015 ]
I have had no problems with over heating, and whenever I listen to rap I turn the gain all the way up for maximum base. The unit is working hard and zero problems. I installed this in the very back of my Subaru Forester. Make sure you install proper size power cable, instructions state the size required for the power draw. I believe my power cable was about 12' long and 4 Gauge[ Jeffrey Apr 08, 2015 ]
I have owned mine for 6 months with no overheating issues. I will say that I haven't used it during any hot months yet. It does sound incredible, by the way.[ Carlton Apr 07, 2015 ]
we have had no problems with that - but I will add, we have never had it on for more than an hour.[ Paul Apr 07, 2015 ]
mr restless,i have had this unit about 4 month's and have had zip issues.no problem heating up.it is not a unit that will blow out your windows, with that said it might,at that point your not listening to music, but will give you all you want.i have a quad cab dodge and love it.music is what tames the beast in all of us!it is super, no heat problems that i have had.enjoy it![ reed Apr 07, 2015 ]
We have used the unit under a moderate load. it is enclosed in the trunk of a classic car and has shown no issues with overheating. Good mid to low bass. good unit for the money.[ Hamid Apr 07, 2015 ]
none, i have 2, neither have over heated. of course i dont abuse them by overdriving[ DON Apr 07, 2015 ]
IVe had mine since Christmas 2014. Never had any issues. I used some pretty heavy Guage wire for power and ground that I had lying around. It's in a 2012 Challenger and beats pretty good for what it is.[ Joshua Apr 07, 2015 ]
I have never had mine shut off on me. But I don't beat on to hard either. It's in my daughters car and she hasn't said anything to me about it shutting off either. I am very pleased with it.[ Carl Apr 07, 2015 ]
I Have had no issues! I have this sub in my chevy Tahoe and just love it! SO much better than the sound ordnance one I had[ peter Apr 07, 2015 ]
No problems . Check to see if your grounded good , might also see if power wire is heavy enough and has good connection.[ SAM Apr 07, 2015 ]
I have had the unit for 3 months, continuous usage for 1 hour at a time, multiple times a day, every day. Sits in my trunk in the hot Florida sun, hasn't shut off for any reason whatsoever. It's a great buy.[ Robert Apr 07, 2015 ]

I would have to say it depends on how you set it. I like booming bass so I have it set on the lower side but when my friend helped me install them(I have two) he set them to a higher tight bass that I wasn't to fond of so I switched it[ MARK J Jan 27, 2015 ]
This is a sealed enclosure, so the sound will tend to fall more on the tight and accurate side. It is a great way to add some low end punch into your system.[ Jeff Jan 27, 2015 ] Staff

There is a little adapter for the RCA cables. On the Sub there is a four wire plug, the adapter plugs in there.[ Korey May 19, 2014 ]
There's a converter they plug into that plugs into the speaker.[ Chopt May 19, 2014 ]
If you don't have RCA's on your head unit you'll need line convertiers. That will allow you to convert your +- spleaker wireto RCA conections. You should be able to tap into the rear speaker wire to get the signal to the sub woofer.[ PATRICK J May 18, 2014 ]
