Overview

Our take on the Onkyo UWF-1 Wi-Fi® USB Adapter

If you'd love to enjoy the network capabilities of your compatible Onkyo receiver but don't like the idea of running another wire across the floor, then the UWF-1 is just the ticket. This Wi-Fi adapter plugs into the USB port of your Internet-ready Onkyo receiver to integrate with your wireless network, so you can let the good times roll. Now Internet radio and audio files stored on your home network can be played back with the superior fidelity of your Onkyo system — minus the cable clutter.

The adapter performs exactly as described by the Crutchfield sales representative. We are enjoying the many WIFI radio stations with this adapter through my new Onkyo TX-8050. I purchased the combination to drive our outdoor speakers, and it is providing great sounds.
