The Logitech Harmony 350 lets you get rid of coffee table clutter by replacing the functions of up to eight remotes. This ergonomically designed remote is not only easy to use, it's easy to set up as well.

Easy setup

You can control up to 8 devices with the Harmony 350 remote. The system works with over 5,000 brands and 225,000 entertainment devices, including lighting controls, game consoles, multi-room systems, and more.

To get started, just download the free MyHarmony software to your Mac or PC. Then connect the remote to it via the provided USB cable. MyHarmony will help you program your remote by asking some simple questions about your system and how you use it. It then downloads the commands and command sequences to your Harmony 350, and you're done. And you can use MyHarmony to update your remote whenever you upgrade your system with new gear.

One-touch TV control

The Harmony 350 features a yellow “Watch TV” button. Press it, and the remote automatically assesses the status of your TV, receiver, cable or satellite box and makes sure they're all turned on with the proper settings. Presto! Your system's ready for TV viewing. A great feature for houseguests and babysitters.

I bought this for my mom as I thought the buttons might be easier to use that the touchscreen. It seems to work well and she is pleased with it.

Universal remote

Johnny G. from eugene, OR on 2/17/2016

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

The Logitech® Harmony® 350 universal remote control is easy to set up and use. The only drawback is the fact that it doesn't always turn each component on or off properly. For instance, when I hit the yellow "Watch TV" button in the upper-left corner, I'm supposed to be taken to the HDMI1 connection, which drives the Comcast cable box. Sometimes, I'm taken to HDMI2, which drives the Blu-ray player. And the remote doesn't seem to fully recognize the soundbar I'm using. Even after "teaching" the remote how to use the soundbar remote, I'm unable to use the volume button. Other than that, a quality remote.

Pros: Ease of use

Cons: Not fully functional for each remote

The Perfect Remote

David from Virginia on 10/29/2015

This is the remote I've been looking for for a long time. I recently connected an old Onkyo receiver, DVD player, Apple TV and to together. I had remotes for everything but the Onkyo. When I went to Crutchfield looking for the one remote, I was shown the Harmony. At first I was hesitant about paying more money for a universal remote till I researched it. After taking it home and programming it I was very impressed. It even controls my Apple TV. Definitely the ultimate universal remote.

Pros: Most of the buttons are programmable Making it easy to access different modes on the receiver. NO program codes to memorize. Everything programmed via enclosed USB cable connected to laptop. Able to control all my devices Including Apple TV

Cons: Buttons should be backlit

A Lifesaver for My Nakamichi AV8

Jay from Virginia on 10/26/2015

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

I had a lot of trouble finding a remote to control the volume on my Nakamichi AV-8. With the help of the Crutchfield advisors I found this product and it did the trick.

Pros: Easy set up.

Cons: May not control all functions on the unit, but I was only concerned about volume and power so it does what I need it to do.

Returning it

Merle from Virginia on 7/24/2015

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

Cumbersome to use. You can spend quite a bit of time programming buttons for each device but then you need to remember what buttons on the Harmony remote are for what remote that you are replacing. Also, if you need to use another device to control the volume, well, that kind of defeats the purpose of a universal remote.

Pros: Inexpensive for comparable remotes. For certain functions, it works well.

Cons: Can't control volume. Also, difficult to control certain devices, like Roku.

Harmony 350

CJ from New York on 2/5/2015

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

This remote does an admirable job of replacing four separate remotes for me. For the past several years, I had a system down pat to juggle these four remotes and perform both simple and certain complex actions. I read the reviews and knew that, unlike some of the higher models in the Harmony line, this particular remote only could program one activity. For my purposes, I didn't care. In fact, I found it easier to hit the device buttons to quickly change between remote functions to perform certain specialized tasks via the color buttons - change the aspect ratio on the TV or do the test tone for surround channels on the receiver, for example. I live by myself, so this setup works for me - I understand why having more programmable activities would be beneficial for less tech-savvy significant others/roommates. But for the price (I got on sale), the Harmony 350 was a fantastic solution for my current situation.

Pros: Nice form factor, easily programmable, found all my devices in database

Cons: Wish the buttons were back-lit and that some indicator was available on the remote (LED light?) that showed which device was currently "active"; material really shows fingerprints

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

Needs to be pointed directly at receiver to work. Can't program extra buttons to control volume on a different device. Worth upgrading to a 650 or higher series.

Pros:

Cons:

Works well and fairly simple

DMW from Richmond, VA on 1/5/2015

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

I've owned an older Harmony model for nearly a decade and it's held up perfectly. Purchased one of these for my father to simplify his home setup and it works perfectly.

Pros: Software now available on both Windows and Mac. Newer software more intuitive and walks you through options for simplified remote layout, but doesn't push you to a specific solution (which the old system did). Easy layout. Both of my parents were using it right away.

Cons: Weight is off center towards the back. Feels like it's designed to keep the weight towards your palm, but the length of the remote means you have to reach forward at times. Not a deal killer, but can be awkward.

Harmony 350 is a Low end remote

CarolynT from Texas on 12/30/2014

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

I've had many Logitech harmony remotes so I'm very disappointed in the 350. The setup, allows you to "Watch TV" -- the one "activity", which allows you to set the device input and select a channel. Well in reality, the channel never gets set! If you select ANT and lets say Channel 4, the command reverts back to the default, which is ANT, and then the channel never gets changed. Why bother having this selection on the setup menu. As others have pointed out, sometimes the "favorite" is quirky, if your channel is more than one digit, then it's hit or miss as to whether you actually get the channel. For the price, this remote is NOT WORTH IT!

Pros:

Cons: Only one activity, remote misbehaves, if you have more than two devices, it's difficult to manage the other combinations. E.g., watch TV & watch Blu Ray, assuming watch TV is your one activity, then when you go to watch the DVD, you have to constantly switch the devices, to get control of each separate device (turn on subtitles via Blu Ray, raise the volume via the TV will require you to switch the device back and forth)

Perfect

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

I refer to it at the Mercedes-Benz of remotes. It's amazingly simple to set up and works like a charm. The 350 makes life so simple and the fact that it's compatible with a wide array devices is super appealing. It's sleek, lightweight, and I swear things actually respond faster to it than my standard Fios remote.

Pros:

Cons:

Reduces Clutter

JoseM from Chino, Ca on 12/15/2014

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

The remote looks and works great. The setup over the computer is really easy. I have my TV, DVR, BluRay, and Soundbar synced to it. Now I can put all the other controllers away and reduce my clutter on the coffee table. I just need to spend a little more time getting use to the controller and figuring out what each of the buttons can do.

Pros: It is compatible will a lot of brands.

Cons: None

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

Got this a couple weeks ago to replace a URC-WR7, which we really liked but managed to pour wine all over, and couldn't find new for sale any more. 350 is okay, very easy to set-up, but buttons are small and hard to see in dim lighting, and only a few are backlit. Also, it has been a little quirky: for example, I have a favorite buttons set including for my ESPN channel 850. A couple of times I have hit the favorite button and it brought up just the "8" or just the "85" then went to THAT channel. Hit it again and it went to the correct channel. (?) But overall: as long as the "Watch TV" button continues to turn everything on or off that it is supposed to, my wife will be happy, and THAT's what a good remote is all about!

Pros: - Easy set-up - All on/all off functions have been consistent

Cons: - Small, hard to see buttons, and only a few are backlit - A little quirky

The perfect remote

Chris from Little Rock, AR on 10/31/2014

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

Th Harmony 350 is an updated version of the Harmony 300 (which I own several of). There are some very minor changes to button layout, but it is now capable of controlling 8 devices. As with the 300, the remote fits in your hand great and functions wonderfully. Setting it up takes only about 15 minutes using the program you download from Logitech's website. Once set up, you will never be able to live without it. It is so wonderfully having to use only 1 remote and a remote that works just how you want it. Most of the buttons are user assignable allowing you to determine which buttons do what. A fantastic device.

Pros: Easy to set up, customizable buttons, great in-hand feel, good looking, works great with all devices.

Cons: Pricey...but worth it. Shiny top surface shows finger smudges really well.

Features

Universal Remote Control: The Harmony 350 is a universal IR remote control which combines up to 8 remotes into 1 simple controller. Control your TV, cable or satellite box, DVR, Blu-ray player, sound system, and more from this one remote control.

Desktop Software Setup: The Harmony 350 is programmed by connecting the universal remote to your laptop or desktop computer using the supplied USB cable, and downloading the MyHarmony desktop software. The MyHarmony desktop software will guide you through entering the manufacturer and model numbers of your home devices so the Harmony 350 understands how to control them. It then helps you create your Watch TV Activity (or scene) for one-button control.

Note: The Harmony database has over 270,000 electronic devices from over 6,000 manufacturers.

System Requirements: In order to use the MyHarmony desktop software your computer will need to meet the following system requirements:

  • Windows-based PC:
    • Microsoft Windows 10, 8, 7, Vista
    • USB type-A port
    • Internet access
  • Intel-based Mac Computer:
    • Macintosh OS X 10.6 or later
    • USB type-A port
    • Internet access

Infrared (IR): The Harmony 350 controls your devices using infrared (IR) light meaning that there must be a direct line of sight between the Harmony remote and your component's IR eye or external IR receiver. The remote has an IR transmission range of up to 50'.

One-Touch Activity Control: The Harmony 350 remote allows you to create a single Watch TV Activity that will power on the required devices and, if possible, set them to the correct inputs. It will also power off all your devices with one button press.

Note: To help keep the Harmony 350 in sync with your devices, avoid turning your television, set top box, and other devices on and off manually or by using their original remote control.

Favorite Channels: The Harmony 350 allows you to assign your Favorite Channel number to a button on the remote so you may easily tune to that station. The Harmony 350 may have up to 5 Favorite Channels assigned to the 1-5 buttons.

Button Customization: The Harmony 350 allows you to customize what each of the physical buttons on the remote do, and each of these customizations are unique for every Activity. For example; you may want the Channel Up button to change channels on your set top box when watching TV, but have the Channel Up button tune to different stations with Listening to Radio using your stereo.

More Controls: With the Harmony 350 universal remote control you can easily access guides, menus, and recorded programs; as well as control playback, with dedicated buttons.

Battery Powered: The Harmony 350 universal remote control is powered by two "AA" batteries (included).

I don't havea sound bar, but this remote was the most difficult to program of any Harmony remote I have owned. [ Kevin  Sep 24, 2015 ]
Id say yes. It literally can control anything. It controlled a Bose speaker dock a ps4,a song soundbar,a Phillips soundbar. You plug it in to laptop and just search for you items through the program that pops up and select them. So easy. [ erik  Sep 22, 2015 ]
Sorry. I don't use Apple TV and can't respond. [ William  Feb 03, 2015 ]
I do not have Apple TV, But this remote is the most difficult of any Harmony Remote to program I have ever owned would not purchase again would do without. [ Kevin  Feb 03, 2015 ]
Nope, I wish it did, I also have one in the same room as my home theater;( [ Daniel  Feb 02, 2015 ]
Yes, when setting up the remote for apple tv, look for the device under this category tree: Remote setting: Computer-> Media Center PC -> Apple -> Apple TV [ Christopher  Feb 02, 2015 ]
I haven't attempted to link them. [ Andrew  Feb 02, 2015 ]
You will want to contact an Advisor by phone (1-800-324-9695) or online chat to discuss compatibility with the Apple TV. If it is not, then they will also be able to discuss other options with you. [ Greg  Feb 02, 2015 ]  Staff
Yes it can! I can't say enough great things. You just write down your model numbers and plug remote into laptop and follow the instructions. So simple. Just this week I added a Sony sound bar and it integrated so easy and I can get to all of its settings menus. [ erik  Dec 16, 2014 ]
You can assign 8 devices to 4 buttons that you activate with either a short or long press. The buttons are pre-labeled TV-Audio, Cable-PC, AVR/Game, and DVD/Music so you'll have to remember and interpret your own assignments. I'm a component system newbie but it seems that given Logitech's vast device database (it even found and applied controls to an old VCR) what the system does is find the devices you entered (by brand and model #) and then find and list every control. Not all are *assigned*; some buttons remain open. You can also reassign buttons that Logitech has assigned by default. Whether or not this applies to causing receiver menus to appear I cannot say offhand as my intrinsic knowledge of this scene doesn't go that deep. [ BART  Dec 16, 2014 ]
A glass cabinet door, absolutely. A wood cabinet door that is closed. Probably not. No remote will. Logitech does sell a small extender sensor though that you could mount to the bottom of your tv, etc. Then it should work. [ Christopher  Nov 21, 2014 ]
I would say no to a wooden cabinet. This is an infrared remote that needs line of sight. It should have no problem with glass doors. [ David  Nov 21, 2014 ]
Not definatively sure it does, however I have a cable box hidden behind a dresser that is hooked up to the bedroom tv and it works flawlessly! [ BENEDETTO  Nov 21, 2014 ]
No. Sometimes you have to press the button multiple time before the power comes on. [ Andrew  Nov 21, 2014 ]
If this remote does not have a direct line of sight, it does not work well. I have not tried it in a cabinet, but I assume it probably wouldn't work well. I'd pony up for the nicer one that works via wireless router if your devices are compatible. [ Paul  Nov 21, 2014 ]
It's IR, so there needs to be glass doors. Won't work through solid doors as far as I know. [ P  Nov 21, 2014 ]
