Our take on the Belkin RJ-45 Crimp Tool by Crutchfield's Amanda P.
This crimp tool from Belkin lets you make custom lengths of CAT-5 cable to neatly connect your gear or terminate long in-wall runs in an Ethernet network. You can cut your CAT-5 cable to the length you like, strip it, and easily crimp on your RJ-45 connectors. Pair this tool with modular RJ-45 connectors for simple cable termination.
What's in the Box:
- Crimp Tool for modular RJ-45 connector
Overview: The F4F198 crimp tool cuts, strips, and crimps an RJ-45 connector to CAT-5 cable.
Cut: With the single cutter blade you make a straight cut at the desired cable length.
Strip: Two opposing blades strip the wire. A stopper helps you strip the cable to the right length.
Crimp: Attach a modular RJ-45 connector to a stranded, four pair, unshielded, twisted-pair cable.
