Our take on the XpressKit XK05

XpressKit modules work with your vehicle's anti-theft system to incorporate the convenience, security and luxury features of your Python™ alarm system.

XpressKit modules work with your vehicle's anti-theft system to incorporate the convenience, security and luxury features of your Python™ alarm system.

An XpressKit interfaces with vehicles using an "immobilizer" key system, allowing you route commands through your vehicle's data system, so your signal's more secure. You have fewer wires to connect and, best of all, your extra key stays with you, not in your car.

Use the XK05 to remote start all late-model Toyota and Lexus vehicles equipped with proximity Smart-Key or Push-to-Start ignition systems.

Important: If you know how to use a multimeter and have experience working with your vehicle's electrical system, you should be able to install this car security equipment. Xpresskit XK05 for 2009 Ford F150 SuperCrew XLT

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

Used this with my Python 414 remote car start. Go's well with the product. I like the D2D plug in. This allows for less wires to be wired into another. Directions were confusing as far as the programming because it makes you think that you need to remove the sensor from the ignition when programming the unit with your vehicle. This is not the case for the Ford F150. Other than that confusing part the rest is quite simple. Go by the directions exactly as stated.

Pros: Easy installation and great Tech Support. Also it is half price when you buy a remote start at the same time.

Cons: Feels cheap but does the job. Confusing portion of the directions which indicates the sensor of the vehicle.
