Sonos Play 3 Hit's Hard.
Love this PLAY 3 Unit. I exchanged a PLAY 1 and got this instead. Much Better Sound. (Bigger Sound), and more of it. Again, Easy to set up, and Again, it had to load the Latest Software for a Few Minutes. No Big Deal, Just hangs ya up for a bit. I am working towards a Wireless House for Music and all, I do believe this will be my Product of Choice. I do like to keep things the same and will be using SONOS. Unless something else comes out and is "Easily" Compatible with the SONOS Product Line and sounds as good or Better. I have this on my Desk and it fits good in the corner, Not as Well as the PLAY 1, but it works for me. I'll be raising it up off the desk to get a little better sound. I have Lifted it up a Little while it's Playing and it is Better sounding off the desk a Bit and with a Slight Tilt Upward. Might Purchase the Stand for it from Crutchfield, (these Folks are Great)!! I am Streaming from Pandora without a Hitch so far from my iPhone. I have the APP on My MacBook Pro but I haven't Enabled it yet since my Phone is with me all the Time so I can't answer to the Mac's Ease of use here as of yet. That all said, this PLAY 3 Hits pretty Good in all areas. I have Tweaked the settings a Little, and Run the TRUEPLAY set up. Not sure in the Bedroom it it's worth it tho??? I can't really hear the Difference?? Anyway, I am Happy with the Trade Up From the Play 1. Make a NOTE here folks. The PLAY 1 does NOT Play in STEREO!! Play3 Does Only in Horizontal , Not Vertical . ??
Pros: Nice sound, Good to Great Bass, Nice Hi's. Easy set up and easy to use. Start Here! Then go BIGGER!?..
Cons: If there is a Con, It's the Fact that the Play 3 don't Play is STEREO when Vertical It sounds Ok but you can tell. It even sounds better Raised up off the Desk and tilted up a little, if your using it there. CON'S??? You Decide...
