Great Bag, but....
Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)
This is a very good bag. My needs are modest. I carry a Canon 5D with 50mm lens, a 55-200 zoom, a 20mm prime, a small flash, filters and some other odds and ends and have room left over. That having been said, I should point out that there is one amazing design problem that must be addressed with this bag. Fortunately it is easy to do. All you need is a seam ripper. For some reason, Tamrac, instead of lining the bag with fuzzy cloth so that the velcro on the dividers would attach anywhere, used velcro strips, and these, as many people have pointed out, catch on anything you try to put into out take out of the bag. I don't put the 5D in face down, for example, . it's too funny a shape for that to work well. For easy access, I put mine in facing forward with the grip on top. When I tried to take it out, the flash mount would catch on the velcro strip and I could not by any means muscle the camera out. I had to get in with my hand, and free it from the strip. The solution is easy, though. Seam rip the strips and cut as much of them as get in the way. I also removed the redundant patch on the front flap. It's noisy and who needs a two-step procedure for opening a bag? The front latch, by the way, is a very stupid design, but is not all that hard to use, and probably can be replaced by something available from a fabric store if it is really bothersome. On the whole, once modified, it's a great bag.
Pros: Size, Comfort, Ease of use
Cons: Velcro strips, Stupid front latch
