Nice Simple Bag, Missing a Few Features
Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)
This is a very simple, practical bag with the basic features most people would want, and is good for travelling light and not carrying too much. It is fairly large for a hip pack without looking ridiculous, and it fits what it is advertised to fit. Carrying it will most likely brand you as a photography nerd or a yuppie parent (like me). If you want to look like a pro or like Batman, look elsewhere. Overall, the material quality and workmanship is good, and it is comfortable to carry for a day trip such as a hike or a family outing to the zoo. The stock photos are somewhat deceiving in that the waist band is much longer than what is shown, and the brown color is a bit darker than it appears. Keep in mind that It is a hip pack and only a hip pack; there is nowhere to stash the waist band or to attach a shoulder strap. I would like to have seen a pocket on the inside of the top cover, a couple of metal D-rings, and a built-in rain cover, but those are for more expensive bags, I guess. If I had paid full price for this, I would have been disappointed, but Crutchfield has it for a very good price right now and it is a good buy.
Pros: Lightweight, simple, comfortable
Cons: Lack of versatility
