About the Channel Master 3010

Steve Kindig
Channel Master's model 3010 "stealth" antenna can receive digital and analog over-the-air TV signals in the UHF and VHF bands. Its shallow depth means the 3010 can be installed under an eave for an inconspicuous look. It's also suitable for roof, wall and attic installations. The 3010's relatively compact size makes it a practical addition to a DBS satellite system.

Features

Overview: The Channel Master 3010 STEALTHtenna receives FM, UHF, and VHF frequencies, both digital and analog. It can be mounted on a roof, on a wall, or in an attic.

Saddle Bracket: The saddle bracket will accommodate a mast between 1-1/4 and 1-2/3 inches.

Turning Radius: If using a rotor on the antenna mast, make sure a 30" turning radius around the antenna is clear of obstruction.

Grounding: The antenna and mast should be properly grounded. Grounding provides lightning protection for the antenna and your TV set. No grounding hardware is provided with the antenna.

Connections: A female F-type connector is on the underside of the antenna body. The included waterproof rubber weather boot should be installed over the cable to guard against corrosion. Coax cable is not provided, RG-6 is recommended.

Specifications:

  • Operating Range: all distances are approximate, actual performance depends on too many variables to predict accurately
    • UHF Channels (14-69): 30 miles
    • VHF Channels (2-13): 45 miles
    • FM Radio: 45 miles
