Crutchfield: LG OLED TV 2016 lineup
Item # 68965C6P | MFR # OLED65C6P
This item is no longer available.
LG's "C6P" series OLED models cost significantly less than the company's flaghip models, but you know what? All of LG's 2016 4K OLED TVs use the same panel and video processing. So if picture quality is your top priority, the 65" OLED65C6P stands with the best you'll see this year. And if you're interested in a curved OLED TV, this may be your last chance. LG stopped making curved OLEDs in 2017.
The amazing thing is that even after winning awards and rave reviews for the past two years, LG continues to find new ways to improve and refine their OLED technology. And LG is still the only manufacturer building OLED TVs.
OLED (pronounced "oh-led") stands for Organic Light Emitting Diode. The OLED screen material is an organic substance that glows when it's activated by an electric current. The screen's pixel layer is made of this self-illuminating carbon-based material — each pixel is its own light source which can be independently switched on and off, so there's no need for a backlight with all its limitations.
Each and every OLED pixel — actually every sub-pixel — can switch off completely, producing absolute black. It's this ability that gives OLED it's remarkable contrast and black levels. LG's OLED design also has an edge when it comes to color and brightness. In LCD TVs, each pixel is made up of three sub-pixels — red, green and blue — to create the color palette. LG's unique 4 Color Pixel technology adds a white sub-pixel to the conventional three colors to enhance both color range and brightness.
LG's 2016 OLED lineup delivers noticeably brighter images than last year's models, while also expanding the color palette by 15%. These TVs are among the best at demonstrating the exciting enhancements in contrast and color provided by HDR. If watching TV is something you routinely do with family or friends, you'll be impressed at the way OLED images maintain nearly perfect contrast and color even for viewers seated off to the sides.
Our eyes can see a much wider range of contrast and color than most current TVs can display — even most 4K models. So, while 4K provides more pixels, TV makers are introducing new technologies to deliver "better" pixels that produce more vivid, colorful, and lifelike images.
The most important of these technologies is HDR (High Dynamic Range), which significantly expands the picture contrast range with both deeper blacks and brighter highlights. A limited amount of HDR-enhanced streamed video content is already available from Amazon and Vudu, and Netflix® will soon offer some as well. This TV not only supports the required HDR 10 format, but also the more sophisticated Dolby Vision™ format, which is a dynamic system that is able to adjust brightness and color levels in response to the video signal on a scene-by-scene basis.
The OLED65C6P's built-in web apps give you instant access to a nearly limitless selection of entertainment including streamed video from services like Netflix, YouTube®, and Hulu®. The colorful WebOS 3.0 user interface lets you customize your home screen to access the apps you use most, and easily switch between them.
LG's motion-sensing Magic Remote is simple and fun to use. You can point, click, scroll and even speak into the remote to find exactly what you want, searching across apps, movies, TV shows and the web... all at the same time. It's a lot like using a wireless videogame controller or an air mouse.
Unsure if your network can handle demanding tasks like 4K streaming? Check out our wireless router buying guide. If you haven't upgraded your hardware in the last few years, a new router will offer big improvements in range and speed.

With perfect black and intense color enhanced by both standard and Dolby Vision* HDR, LG OLED brings you a world of beauty without compromise.
The individually illuminating OLED pixels can brighten, dim, and power off fully to achieve perfect black. That means contrast — the ratio between the lightest and darkest areas of the screen — is truly infinite. Perfect black is essential to a more lifelike image as well as the great shadow detail you can only get with OLED.
LG OLED TVs display a color palette that virtually matches the vast range of hues seen in today's high-end digital cinemas. With over a billion rich colors at its disposal, LG OLED TV delivers a theater-quality experience at home.
OLED HDR delivers a stunning High Dynamic Range picture, including support for Dolby Vision* content. Enjoy brilliant brights and the deepest darks for infinite contrast, rich color and an exceptional viewing experience, closer to what filmmakers intended. With their perfect black and cinematic color, LG OLED TVs have also earned prestigious Ultra HD Premium certification.

Bought this tv just for 3d.best I have ever seen .I hope lg brings back 3d.i was lucky to get the last one from you.
I have had the TV now for 4 weeks and am very pleased. The picture quality with OLED is amazing. I bout the 2016 model as I wanted the 3D capability for gaming. Native 4k and upconvertw 4k is incredible. Very very happy with TV and Crutchfields customer service.
Pros: Picture quality Great for gaming
Best picture ever. Didn't think I'd notice a difference. Viewing is great from all angles in a room.
So far, this is the best TV I've ever owned. Easy to use out of the box; and the color is absolutely astonishing. After 8 years of good service my 65" Mitsubishi finally gave up. This was not an impulse buy, took time to research the market and settled on this LG model, and reseller. In addition to a few of my criteria, having 3D was important, that's why I went with a 2016 model. The curved feature was not important, it was all that Crutchfield had remaining. I believe the curve is just a marketing gimmick that does nothing to improve or enhance watching the TV. Fortunately the curve doesn't detract from my viewing enjoyment, to tell the truth I don't even notice it. Making this purchase from Crutchfield has been a 5 star experience; and also 5 stars to LG for the outstanding OLED experience.
Pros: Gorgeous color
Cons: Difficult to turn off, must continue to watch, resistance is....
I have only had the TV about 3 days and have not as of yet found the sweet spot for maximal picture quality. The user manual is very small and has very little help in explaining any of the settings. I have spent considerable time on the internet researching proper settings for my circumstances. In the past I have always had my TVs professionally calibrated after using it for several months, but in my retirement I have moved to a very rural setting and this may not be possible. The remote has no info button, so I had to research how to find the resolution of the material I was watching. All the picture settings are difficult to find, some are so nested that I set them and then can't find them. It is sad that now there is so little documentation in the user manual. Overall it seems to be a great TV, though it will take awhile to maximize the picture quality. I am still trying to find out if the TV is upscaling all material is being upscaled or not.
Pros: Great TV
Cons: Poor documentaion, will take awhile to maximize picture quality.
there is nothing to say much as i had already did intensive research before buying the LG 65C6P OLED the colors and the depth is out of this world the 4K 3D was the main reason for me to get it and once you turn it on it will just grabs you there the screen size is 65 and after few days of fun i said to my self why 65 why not above now Here i like to mention about CRUTCHFIELD i red this name many times online in past 25 years never bother to do any business with them but NOW i like crutchfield more then the TV what a service and packing and timing these guys has wow the tv came from VA and there was not a single dent on the outer box the moment i saw the Shipment i know i am in good hands these people are awesome the customer service the reps the rewards the way they talk pure US based team i must say i am now life time customer 5 stars *****
Pros: too many
Cons: none yet
Amazing picture quality. And looks great. Delivery went smoothly. Only problem I had was that the magic remote would not work. LG is sending a replacement remote.
This is the best picture of any TV I have ever owned. OLED is amazing, I have no complaints about the picture. 4k video is amazing and even the 3d pops off the screen without using powered glasses. I would highly recommend.
Pros: screen color and picture is unbelievable.
I could not be more pleased with this purchase. The color and the detail are fantastic. I did not know if I would like the curved screen but now I prefer it to a flat screen. I had a top of the line Sony which was also an excellent television but the OLED technology on the LG is superior to the edge lit LED technology of the Sony.
Pros: Clear, detailed and vibrant picture. Easy to set up Sound quality very good
Cons: Watching more television since I purchased this
Excellent Picture, easy to setup.
I liked my 55" LG OLED C6P as an oversized desktop monitor so much that we bought this 65" for the living room. House of Cards in 4K on this TV is an experience--it opens up reading the faces of the supporting cast as bombshells drop and plots unravel. Supported technologies is important to me, and this TV features not only the two top HDR standards, but also supports 3D, making it a great TV for watching older 3D Blu-ray movies as well as newer UHD discs. The TV can display 4K HDR video at 60Hz, but the18gbps HDMI cables I already owned were not up to supporting that much data--I had to get HDMI certified cables for 4K HDR @60Hz. The internal speakers fall well short of the TV's picture, which is fine because I consider internal speakers the free pens of audio.
Pros: - The completely unlit black of the screen makes even dim scenes pop. - Supports both the HDR 10 and Dolby Vision color and dynamic range specifications. - Supports 3D. - Responsive smart features. - Settings menu has two depths so that even less technically confident people can make certain changes while people inclined to tweak have lots of options. - Very lightweight for a TV of its size, so mounting and repositioning is easy.
Cons: - If the receiver is not powered when the TV is turned on, the TV changes audio output to internal speakers. - Dynamic brightness that cannot be turned off via the normal settings menus means color calibration is extra difficult (but colors are reasonably accurate out of the box.) - Vesa mount points are unusually low on the back of the TV, so an existing wall mount installation may need to be lowered as well. - LG doesn't have access to the HBO GO app. - Internal speakers are intern
Excellent picture quality
Great picture, a step up from my old 65" Curved LED TV. Having trouble hooking my sound bar, but may just forget about it as the TV speakers are just fine.
Pros: Great Picture
Cons: Menu system, there are a lot of options, but you can always just go with the default settings.
Gotta love OLED! Fast, bright, a pleasure to watch.
Pros: Curved! Sadly LG has stopped making the OLED curved for 17 so I purchased this 16 model, nice! Fast, love the fast response of the WebOS!
Cons: Cons? What cons? ??
Awesome picture quality, easy UI and intuitive remote. OLED is worth the extra $ over LED.
Best tv I have ever seen. This model is a great value as well.
Pros: Best picture ever and this model is the best value for the money.
Cons: There are better televisions for gaming.
Well one would never think picking out a TV would take a month but it did and I can tell you this TV hands down was the perfect choice. After i had decided to spend the extra money for the oled since it was capable of doing all the latest tech hdr10 and Dolby vision, the next part was deciding b6 or c6. I wasn't really sure about the curve as on other brands curved tv the curve is too much, but the lg is less of a curve. And for the same price the c6 has 3d, even though it is a dying tech in the tv market there are plenty of movies that offer it and i had a good collection already, i decided to go with the c6 and let me tell you WoW! the 3d is amazing the curve makes the tv stand out and when watching a movie it disappears. I haven't tested for games as i only use it for movies. Also make sure you have a good stand that is sturdy the tv is very light and will rock back and forth if stand is flimsy. And i will note i turn true motion off on movies as i don't like the way it looks and it does leave some ghosting with it on.
Pros: Good picture, color, plenty of settings, good design.
Cons: only con is i gotta learn all these settings Ha
Love this TV! Best 1080 picture I've ever seen and the 4K picture is unbelievable!
Love this TV, unbelievable colors. Works well in our family room which gets a lot of sunlight.
Pros: Like the curved screen, viewable from various furniture angles, setup was easy and flawless, a true smart TV.
I love this TV. I've bought a handful of $1500-$2500 TV's over the years that continue to disappoint but with this OLED65C6P it's like I finally hit the jackpot. 4K movies with HDR are stunning, but you would expect that, right? What gets me is how much better 1080p looks on this versus any TV I've had before. To my eyes the 1080p looks like 4K and the 4K looks like 8K. Also, love the 41 lb weight. I attached mounts and was able to lift it over my head and onto my cabinet post by myself.
Appears to be a 5 star product but the process for getting the best picture is confusing and poorly documented. Recommend that LG provide a step by step process for all aspects of this product beginning with how to flip the tv during unboxing/attaching the stand to adjusting picture to how to manage all the various inputs and adjusting for each to selecting different profiles for different types of video which might come through the same HDMI input. LG has some mostly disjointed videos on line and an ineffective user guide/manual for the TV which may be a good strt, but do not just do the job. The default settings are way to vivid and accent reds resulting in a display that is jarring with poor flesh tones, so using defaults is not an option. So, for me, the default is not an option. This TV is in mostly dark home theater room and replaces an LG Led/Lcd TV which had excellent picture right out of the box, that worked for all inputs: Cable TV, BluRay DVD, 4K PC via HDMI. The old TV did not have the color range or the deep blacks that OLED promises. The OLED performs significantly different for PC input, 4K BluRay input and Cable TV input to the point that a picture which id OK in one input will be unacceptable in the others. Additionally, if I turn on up the lights in the room the picture is degraded. I exppect to continue to have these problems either I get educated or purchase some help.
Pros: Great ratings Nice size, 65 inch Curved frame is not an issue Artistically Beautiful I expect to resolve the picture problem and then expect great satisfaction
Cons: Documentation insufficient (I manage & fix my computers since my first pc) Default picture is unacceptable for my darkened home theater Too easy for novice to access & change settings on the remote. ***biggie***
Best picture I have ever seen. I have this tv in a bright room with occasional direct sun light. It absorbs the light and still looks beautiful.
Pros: Great picture, easy to navigate with the remote, easy hookups
This tv has the best video of any currently on the market. My only complaint is that the screen is too reflective.
This TV is just as reviews say, absolutely the best TV on market. The picture is beyond amazing and the 4K movies are almost unbelievable. The color and contrast are so beautiful and perfect the screen looks live. Yes it costs more but you will never regret making this wise investment in your entertainment lifestyle.
Pros: Turn it on, sit and enjoy the view, it is perfect!
amazing picture everything I expected and more the color the contrast truly amazing
Pros: picture color and contrast
Purchased appx 2 months ago so I've had time to gather some thoughts. First off, I was not a fan of the "gimmick" curved screen, but after sitting in front of it for 30 minutes, you really don't notice it so it was really not an issue like I thought it would be. As for deciding between the B6 & the C6, they were the same price at the time & since it is the same actual panel, I opted for the C6 due to the 3D capability rather than the B6 for the built in sound bar. If purchasing a TV of this quality & price, one would think you would have your own surround sound system so why pay for a sound bar that won't get utilized anyway? As for the E6, this was my original TV of choice, however, it was more money. Once again, it came down to being the same TV, just on glass and only a 3% difference in the DCI-P3 color space spectrum.....so, not really worth the extra money from my wallet. Picture?.....WOW, clarity galore...color, definition, black on black...can't say enough. The UHD Blue Rays look spectacular. 3D Blue Rays...awesome. The UI fairly easy to navigate, but not for a novice. Will take some patience & playing around tilll you get the knack. Using the magic remote takes some getting used to & lots of practice, kinda like switching from a computer mouse to the laptop mouse pad. Overall, love this TV. Only drawback is the relective screen. Do not put it accross the room from a window. Wife ordering different black out curtains next :-)
Pros: HDMI ARC, Plenty of inputs, clean smooth lines for contemporary decor
Cons: Reflective screen
We love everything about this TV, the picture quality is everything and more than we had hoped! We are satisfied and glad we went with the curved model in the 65" size.
Pros: The picture sharpness. The ease of setting up and installing the TV. The remarkable 41lb. weight. The 65" curve. The Crutchfield experience, I would not buy any video or audio equipment from anyone else!
Cons: So many choices!
Great TV. Great picture. Can't wait to start streaming 4k content. Crutchfield Customer Service was excellent. Upgraded from the 55 inch to the 54 inch with no regrets.
I have Been planning on purchasing a 65inch OLED TV for the last year. When the price was lowered that was the the buy signal. It is still a chunk of money, but with Crutchfield's excellent product support, I had to buy it. When it arrived and I connected to th antenna and turned it on, I thought I was in the limelight. Great picture, awesome brightness, great color, etc. etc. I could not believe my eyes. I have to give this product two thumbs up. I played old 4:3 aspect ratio meant for smaller screen TVs, I was impressed with the up scaling. I really can'T say enough. Still trying to figure out how to use the smart remote to turn on my BluRay, and Sound system with the push of one button. Maybe Crutchfield can help, I need to make a call.
Cons: Smart remote maybe too smart.
OLED is the way to go! The Best TV I've ever owned! Best picture of any TV on the market! Has great HDR contrast and amazing 3D. Big Big difference between my last 1080p plasma and this stunning 4K. You wont believe watching a 4K Ultra HD Bluray.
Pros: 4H UltraHD HDR Playback Image Quality. Stunning 3D. HDMI 2.0a HDCP 2.2 lightweight.
Pros: Depth of picture and color. Are awesome
Cons: Light on sound
I purchased the LG OLED65C6P because I wanted the best picture quality offered in a display today, without the added expense of the built in soundbar. This model hit the target. The display after a proper calibration is out of this world. Obviously, perfect blacks, a rich color spectrum and beautiful design. The TV showed up on time with good communication from Crutchfield as well as UPS for delivery. You definitely want someone to help you get it setup, as attaching the base is a little difficult with the curved display needing to be set face down. The OS is easy to use and very self explanatory. If you're looking for the best picture quality in the business without the added expense of a soundbar, this is the tv for you.

OLED: "OLED" means organic light-emitting diode, named for the advanced material used in the TV's screen. The secret to OLED is this unique light-emitting diode structure with its electroluminescent layer, a special film made from an organic, carbon-based compound that emits its own light when hit with an electric current. A thin-film transistor (TFT) backplane switches each specific pixel on and off. This configuration enables a thinner, lighter form factor, higher resolution and big, home theater-ready screen sizes. Because OLED TVs do not require a backlight, pixels that are switched off are truly black, so OLED achieves deeper black levels and a higher contrast ratio when compared to LCD and LED-LCD TVs with conventional backlighting. OLED technology also increases energy efficiency.
Curved 10-Bit LCD Panel: Thanks to its 10-bit LCD panel, the LG UHD OLED TV is capable of displaying billions of colors with fine steps of gradation. With so many more colors to express, you'll see a picture that is more detailed and natural when compared to conventional 8-bit panels. LG has made the TV's picture even more dramatic, with a gracefully curved screen. It fills your field of vision like no flat screen can, for a thrilling, immersive viewing experience that still delivers a wide viewing angle. OLED is the ideal TV technology for curved screens, because its wide viewing angle assures a consistently beautiful picture across the entire screen with virtually no variance.
Ultra Luminance: Ultra-HD picture quality becomes even more dynamic with an extended range of brightness, thanks to LG's Ultra Luminance technology. By enabling higher peak brightness and an enhanced contrast ratio, Ultra Luminance makes 4K & HDR images even more striking.
Ultra HD 4K Resolution & Upscaler: The LG UHD OLED TV has a display resolution of 3,840 x 2,160 (4K) and will display all video at that resolution, regardless of input signal, thanks to its Perfect Mastering Engine & 4K Upscaler. 4K provides four times higher resolution than current 1080p high-definition TVs with a total of 8.3 million pixels. Its detail is so vivid and crisp, even when viewed from close distances; it's nearly impossible to discern a single pixel, even from inches away. Enjoy incredibly flawless images, vivid colors, and picture details as never before. More benefits of Ultra-HD 4K include:
Ultra HD Premium: The LG UHD OLED TV features the Ultra HD Premium seal of recognition from the UHD Alliance for meeting the demanding standards set by the industry organization for resolution, high dynamic range, peak luminance, black levels, & wide color gamut. This UHD OLED TV delivers a stunning high dynamic range (HDR) picture with support for Dolby Vision content. Enjoy brilliant brights and the deepest darks for infinite contrast and rich color.
Note: Dolby Vision will be available via software update, which requires internet connection. Please use a premium high speed HDMI cable with 18 Gbps and above to view HDR content.
Video Inputs: The LG UHD OLED television features HDMI 2.0a, Component, and Composite video inputs. All of the television's video inputs are displayed at 3,840 x 2,160 (4K).
Note: The TV has built-in over-the-air HDTV (ATSC) and Digital Cable (QAM) tuners with an RF-coaxial input, so you don't need a separate set-top box to receive and decode over-the-air HDTV/SDTV or unencrypted Digital Cable signals.
4K 3D+: LG lets you enjoy 3D movies on the big screen at home, just like at the movies. The large screen of LG Ultra-HD TV provides flicker-free, comfortable images that make the 3D entertainment more enjoyable. With its quadrupled resolution, the 3D images are more splendid than ever and the realism more lively than ever. Even 3D movies of low resolution can be upgraded to be played on LG Ultra-HD TV. By automatically upscaling 3D movies close to 4K quality, it lets you enjoy 3D on a whole new level. LG's 3D glasses are light, battery-free, hassle-free and economical, allowing for greater viewing comfort and convenience.
Note: This LG TV can display in 3D via 3D broadcasting or when the TV is connected to a 3D compatible device; such as a 3D-ready Blu-ray player with 3D content. The TV must be connected to your 3D source via HDMI and you must wear the included passive 3D glasses in order to see these images in 3D (three-dimensional) format.
Picture Settings: The LG UHD OLED TV provides preset, user, and expert adjustment of the television's picture settings.
Magic Zoom: Magic Zoom enables you to magnify objects and letters anywhere on the screen without any degradation in picture quality, using the included Magic Remote.
Multi-View: The Multi-View feature lets you watch a live TV broadcast and an external HDMI input source simultaneously on the screen. Multi-View provides two smaller side-by-side images that are positioned in the middle of the screen (does not fill up the whole screen).
Harman/Kardon Sound Design: The TV's onboard speaker system has been designed by Harman/kardon to provide rich, cinematic sound in your living room.
Magic Sound Tuning: With the Magic Sound Tuning feature, you can detect the space where your TV is installed using your Magic Remote's microphone to optimize the audio of your TV for your environment. When the initial detection is complete, you can select your desired audio mode.
TV Installation Type: This audio setting optimizes the sound based on the TV's positioning & setup. You have three options to choose from.
Audio Settings: The LG UHD OLED TV offers a variety of audio adjustments to fine-tune the television's sound to your preference and application.
Digital Audio Output: The optical digital output terminal will output Dolby Digital/DTS (when available) or 2 channel PCM. The digital optical output terminal only sends an audio signal in Dolby Digital/DTS when receiving Dolby Digital/DTS surround sound from a digital broadcast channel through the tuner, network apps, HDMI inputs, and USB ports on the OLED TV. The optical digital audio output will only output in 2ch stereo from sources connected to the TV via stereo RCA.
Note: You can choose to turn the television speakers off or leave them on with the TV's optical digital output active.
ARC (Audio Return Channel): The Audio Return Channel of the TV's HDMI 2 input enables the television, via a single HDMI cable, to send audio data "upstream" to your A/V receiver; increasing user flexibility and eliminating the need for any separate S/PDIF audio connection. This feature allows audio to be sent from the television to your A/V receiver through the same HDMI cable already being used to send audio/video to the television. This eliminates the need for extra cables connected to the TV. ARC allows audio from the TV tuner, Network connection, inserted USB device, HDMI inputs, or any analog connected device to be heard through your ARC compatible AV receiver via the television's HDMI ARC input. The audio from the TV's tuner, HDMI inputs, network connection, and USB ports can pass as Dolby Digital or 2ch PCM. Analog connected devices will be output as 2ch PCM only.
Note: Both the television and the receiver must support ARC for this function to work properly. When connecting an A/V receiver that is compatible with Audio Return Channel (ARC), connect it to the TV's HDMI 2 input. If connecting a system that is incompatible Audio Return Channel (ARC), an additional audio connection via Digital Audio Out (Optical) is necessary.
LG Sound Sync w/ Bluetooth: Thanks to the TV's LG Sound Sync and built-in Bluetooth, you can pair a single set of Bluetooth headphones or one Bluetooth speaker with the LG UHD OLED TV. You are able to stream audio from any of the the TV's built-in sources or connected sources. The TV's built-in speakers and audio outputs will be deactivated when streaming audio to Bluetooth headphones or speaker. The Bluetooth audio output's volume is variable, so volume of your Bluetooth speaker will need to be controlled by both the TV and the Bluetooth speaker for adequate volume level.
Note: Not compatible with all Bluetooth devices.
Wired or Wireless Network Connection: The LG UHD OLED TV supports a wired or wireless network connection. Via the TV's network & internet connection, you can enjoy select online entertainment services. You can also access music, video, and still-image files stored on your computer or mobile device.
Note: LG recommends a home network connection speed of at least 2.5 Mbps recommended for standard definition, 10 Mbps for high definition, and 20 Mbps for ultra-high definition.

This is the only TV in 65" that had passive 3D and also OLED as well. Please let LG know how important 3D is and still relevant. [ Chu Jul 28, 2017 ]
From my understanding the picture quality can't be beat right now and OLED is the standard [ Jason Jun 30, 2017 ]
Highly recommended. [ Steamfitters Lo Jun 19, 2017 ]
Excellent picture quality including wide viewing angles without loss of brightness or contrast with only minor color shift, with the curve being both a help and a hindrance. Final generation to include 3D functionality. [ Nathan Jun 10, 2017 ]

Wanted an OLED to get the best picture available. This is a beautiful TV [ John Dec 22, 2016 ]
I think the OLED technology is the best these days, especially since plasma has gone away. This TV gets the highest ratings in multiple reviews and I'm hoping LG will last longer than the Samsung that just croaked after 5 years. The curved TVs get mixed reviews but I love the looks of it and I spoke with a friend who has had a curved Samsung for about a year and he loves it. I also like the fact that it has HDR10 and Dolby Vision so no matter which one wins the battle, I'll be ready. [ WILLIAM Dec 22, 2016 ]
Seems like best 65 inch 4k tv with passive 3d [ Lee Dec 14, 2016 ]
Wanted to experience the best tv on the market [ Bret Dec 03, 2016 ]
Wanted the 65B6P, but was sold out. So chose this one since price was the same with the added bonus of having some fun perhaps with 3D. [ kenneth Dec 03, 2016 ]
The 2016 LG OLEDs have the best picture quality today (late 2016). The "perfect" black levels and individually lit pixels can't be matched by even the flagship LCD sets today. Some are getting close, like the Sony Z9D series, but are not quite there. In addition, the 2016 LG OLEDs support both major versions of HDR so offer some future-proofing should Dolby Vision take off. I would have preferred a flat TV, but decided to give a curved one a try, since the B6P does not support 3D. [ James Nov 20, 2016 ]
It has an outstanding picture and will replace an older model Samsung LED HD television. [ Fred M. Nov 17, 2016 ]
Top rated tv and current price [ Richard Nov 05, 2016 ]
Lowest price for the combination of: OLED, 4K, HDR, 65", 3D. (Only chose the curved C6 because it has 3D support, unlike the B6.) Chose Crutchfield over cheaper online options because the cheap resellers are extremely sketchy. [ Nils Nov 01, 2016 ]
I still enjoy 3D and with the Passive tech,OLED and being probably one of the last 3D tv's to be made,it was a no brainer. Also OLED right now seems to be the best choice to replace my plasma to get those inky blacks. [ Eduardo Oct 10, 2016 ]

I chose this TV because it checked all my boxes. I have a very nice 6 yr old Samsung 55" 8000 series set and have been wanting to go up to 65" for a while, but if I was going to do it, I had to be blown away by the picture and performance. I was choosing between the Samsung KS9800 and LG C6P; both are amazing and have their advantages, but LG took the cake with full HDR support and 3D, which I still enjoy at home though it seems to be dying out. There's just nothing quite like the look of OLED. [ STEVEN Aug 29, 2016 ]
My patience has paid off. I have been planning on buying an OLED tv for the past year. I have purchased all of my electronic items from Crutchfield for the last 17 years, good prices, but most of all great customer service. [ Marilyn Aug 10, 2016 ]
No refresh rate and the colors. [ Jay Aug 06, 2016 ]
Based on Crutchfield reviews. [ Michael Jun 18, 2016 ]
i have no idea, but i can tell you that in 6 months time, i already have had the screen replaced, if the warranty was out, there is no way i would invest 2500 in another screen, I have a samsung curve, and other samsung smart tvs, no trouble whatsoever. buyer beware of lg oled. [ kevin Jun 21, 2017 ]
