Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)
Wow, this system sounds fantastic. Its perfect for my bedroom, thought it would be overkill at first, but i was wrong. Easy to configure and I found the Sonos app relatively easy to use. After initial configuration, I decided to take the extra step and try TruePlay using my iPad. It was a simple process and I'm very happy with the end result. The TV I'm using with the Playbar, directly connected via optical cable, is a 49 inch Sony X900E, which actually transmits Dolby 5.1 through optical. Dolby Surround sounds surprisingly good! The Sono's playbar, Sonos One and Sub are an outstanding combination and I give major props to Sonos for designing such an impressive wireless speaker ecosystem. I did enable Alexa on the Sonos One's and basically only use it for listening to online Music, which functions perfectly. All in all, an excellent wireless audio system. Can't wait to add more sonos speakers throughout my house.
Pros: Sounds amazing, modular and easy to configure. Build quality is top notch. Sub Volume control Surround volume control for both TV and Music Alexa integration with Sonos One TruPlay configuration Whole home audio capability
Cons: Price (Although it was on-sale and you definitely get what you pay for) Mounting accessories for Playbar and speaker stands can be difficult to find.
