Add the convenience of hands-free calling to your compatible 2008 Alpine in-dash receiver. This package includes Alpine's KCE-400BT Bluetooth adapter, along with a KWE-460E cable that allows you to connect the adapter to your 2008 receiver.

Powered by Parrot, the KCE-400BT Bluetooth® adapter lets you answer incoming calls, place outgoing calls, and scroll through your phone book entries — all without ever touching your Bluetooth phone. In fact, once the system is set up, you can leave your phone in your pocket or purse when you get in the car — it connects automatically when you turn on your stereo.

When a call comes in, your stereo mutes the music and you'll hear the caller over your speakers. The included microphone uses Active Echo Cancellation technology to ensure that you'll be heard loud and clear on the other end.

Note: Compatibility of this device may vary, depending on your phone and service provider.

Note: Sorry, Crutchfield cannot ship Alpine products to Guam or Puerto Rico.

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

Just installed the KCE-400BT for my Alpine CDA-9884 to use with my iPhone4. I must say I was skeptical that all would work well and install easy, glad to report that it works great and installed very easy. The cable connection for my iPod coming from the bluetooth device is different and I cannot connect, however with the bluetooth connection, my Pandora and Ipod work great from my iPhone4 without a cable, so this was a pleasant surprise! I also like the interface for my recent phone activity along with access to my contacts, makes for a very easy calling experience.

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

VERY easy install and great Crutchfield Support. Installed in 2000 Tundra with Alpine CDA-9886 without issue. The original I-pod Adapter that comes with the Alpine CDA-9886 does not work with this BT Adapter so be sure to pick up the KCE-433i I-pod adapter cable...which the Crutchfield team sent me. I have a factory installed BT in my 2007 Camry and this setup sounds better in the truck than my OE system does in my XLE Camry ! Wife loves it. I continue to appreciate this company and the products they carry and support !

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

I had the 300bt installed with my IDA-W205 and found it to be useless. The echo the users heard was horrible. I saw that Alpine finally teamed up with Parrot to produce the 400bt module. Installation is easy and the sound is great. Callers cannot tell that I am on hands free. It is easy to pair and reconnects instantly every time. I was looking for a hands free that I do not have to think about after I install it and I finally have it.

Excellent Product

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

I installed this product as an after thought with my IDAx-200 it was a very easy product to install. The control box was easy to hide in the dash and the mic supplied works amazingly well. The sound is better than any bluetooth headset out there. The hardest part for me was running the mic wire from the dash to the center of my overhead console. Other than that it automatically finds my phone and has my whole address book and caller id with every call. It automatically mutes the radio and works seamlessly.
