The dynamic sound of Klipsch Reference Premiere

We're used to hearing great things from our customers about Klipsch's signature sound. One technology that goes into that famous Klipsch sound is the horn-loaded driver. Flared openings in the speaker cabinet project sound waves toward your listening area, boosting dynamics and efficiency. The Reference Premiere speakers that make up this system's front, center, and surrounds all use a newly developed Hybrid Tractrix® horn design that delivers a wider sweet spot with more precise spatial imaging. They also use copper-colored Cerametallic™ woofers that deliver smooth, articulate sound, as well as lending your system a striking appearance when you take the grilles off.

Klipsch RP-250C center channel speaker

Klipsch's Cerametallic™ woofers, shown here on the center channel, deliver smooth sound and have a striking look.

Klipsch R-110SW powered subwoofer

Add clean, tight bass punch

Klipsch rounds out the package with their powerful Reference R-110SW, a powered sub featuring a 10" woofer and 200-watt amplifier. The Cerametallic woofer design helps this modestly sized subwoofer deliver accurate, musical lows, but take it from us — you'll still get lots of bass punch when get this baby dialed in.

If your receiver is a 5.1 to 7.2 surround sound unit, these speakers will work great. Surround sound receiver power ratings are approximate wattage per channel. So 150 nominal watts is plenty to drive these speakers. [ Douglas  Feb 02, 2018 ]
That would not be my first recommendation for receiver power to use with these speakers, but that power might still work depending on your listening levels and goals. I recommend contacting an advisor on 1-800-324-9695 to discuss your preferences and goals to see if these your preferences.
