AudioQuest designed their VDM-1 coaxial digital cable for use with high-performance CD players, digital-to-analog converters, and signal processors. The cable features a solid 24-gauge copper conductor, engineered specifically for the wide frequency bandwidth of digital audio signals.

AudioQuest VDM-1

The conductor's 2.5% silver plating helps improves high frequency performance. Hard cell foam insulation surrounds the conductor to minimize distortion. Foil wrap around the insulation and an additional layer of silver-plated braid shield the cable from external electronic interference that can degrade the signal.

I bought this cable from crutchfield a while back & have been pleased with the sound , it will give you a nice little bump in SQ over any cheapo audio coax.

VDM Series: AudioQuest/CinemaQuest VDM Series cables are designed to minimize
distortion across an extremely wide bandwidth. The 75Ω cable acts like a conduit which has to carry relatively low frequency analog video (Composite, up to 4.2MHz), or super sensitive digital audio (SP/DIF, up to 24.576 MHz), or uncompressed High Definition video (HDTV, up to 750 MHz), or cable TV/broadband (CATV, up to 1 GHz). The VDM series cables are designed to carry all these signals with minimum interference from the cable.

Construction: The VDM-1 uses a 24 AWG, 2.5% Silver-Plated Long-Grain Copper conductor insulated with Hard Cell Foam (HCF). 2.5% silver-plate greatly improves high frequency performance. Nitrogen Injected HCF reduces distortion caused by the insulating material. The combination foil and Silver-Plated braid shield provides 100% protection coverage and lower distortion. Gold-Plated RCA plugs are professionally attached with superior AudioQuest solder.

Directional Arrows: When using the VDM-1 cable for digital audio, please be sure to observe the directional arrows (input or output arrow on each connector). Video is not sensitive to directionality.
