Klipsch The One
Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)
Very crisp clean sound, exactly what I was needing.
Great for home or office.
The One from Klipsch appeals to the senses. Part of Klipsch's Heritage Wireless series, it has a deliciously retro look that catches your eye. Professionally tuned speakers delight your ears. And the spun copper switches and control knobs provide tactile pleasure to your fingertips. It makes an attractive addition to a den, office, or guest room.
The One features two 2-1/4" full range drivers that present full, detailed stereo sound. The drivers are bi-amped for exceptional accuracy and clarity. A 4-1/4" woofer fills out the low end with depth and warmth. Stream to The One from your smartphone, tablet or computer via Bluetooth. Or use the included stereo minijack cable to connect a portable player to The One for playback.
The One's built-in rechargeable battery provides up to 8 hours of operation, to get you through the work day. You can also leave it connected to its AC charging cable for a more permanent setup.
Very crisp clean sound, exactly what I was needing.

Very crisp clean sound, exactly what I was needing.
Great sound! Shipped quickly and the finish is great.
Looks great, sounds great. Lots of volume and easy pairing with Android phone.
Pros: Killer sound, looks great
Bought "The One" for my office. I get a lot of compliments on the retro look, but the real enjoyment comes after everyone leaves and I crank it up. Great sound. Easy connect.
Pros: Looks, Sound
Cons: Not a device you would want to carry around
Nice looking unit, sounds great, ease of use
I really enjoy the aesthetics, ease of use, quality sound, and price point in this product. Definitely recommended.
Sounds amazing and looks really cool.
Pros: Great sound. Love the retro look.
I purchased the Klipsch The One for my daughter as a Christmas present. Originally I was going to buy a Bose Soundtouch 20 to replace her older sounddock that died. Very happy going in a different direction. She loves the retro styling of the Klipsch. She is very happy with the amount of sound that is produced from such a compact unit. More than enough to fill her apartment. Actually she likes it so much she wants another one!
Pros: Perfect size & great sound. If you want more sound then you need to move up in class and type of speaker system. This unit fits our needs & is just the right size.
Cons: None at this time
Impressive sounds especially the bass from a speaker of its size. One thing weird: after idling for a while it automatically turns the power off and you can not force it to stay on. There is no way of auto-start or to remotely turn it on but you must walk to it to do this manually.
Pros: good sound
Cons: weird design of handling start
Tengo varios tipos de bocinas inalámbricas está en especial para interior en mi departamento se oye impresionante, además del diseño. Sin duda la mejor opción para mi sala de tamaño regular
Pros: Sonido Diseño
Cons: Duración de la bateria
perfect combination of bass and treble. excellent sound quality even at lower volume levels. I like the size; fits anywhere. the retro look makes it a classic. and the 8 hour charge allows me to play it anywhere without searching for outlets
Pros: Sound quality
I recently purchased this unit after hearing my nephews Klipsch Groove, I was amazed at the sound of his for it's size. I had high hopes for the Klipsch One, and it also delivers large sound for it's size. I have bought Klipsch home speakers in the past with great results, so I knew the sound would be very good. This little unit produces good volume for the size of it, and if you are in a 20'x20' or smaller room it absolutely rocks. I recently took it to work which is a loud place [ I work at an automotive assembly plant] and with good recordings it still produced good sound at a respectable volume, but at nowhere near the volume of an enclosed small room. This unit is slightly bass heavy at low volumes, but levels out as you turn it up. I believe this unit sounds best on rock music, but it will play every type of music well. My biggest complaint is no usb port for charging your device. You can turn it almost all the way up before hearing any audible distortion, even under battery power! Kudos Klipsch on a great product; very nice appearance, stellar performance, and a good value to boot!
Pros: Very big sound for its size and power ratings! Sounds well on any type of music, but really excels on rock! Excellent finish; I got the black, which looks like a dark wood grain. Sound does not change when unplugged!
Cons: Slightly bassy for vocal heavy recordings, but does level off at higher volumes. Klipsch where is the usb port?
Totally satisfied! Thinking of getting it for family members (especially those not to "tech comfortable")
Pros: Excellent sound quality (listen to opera, instrumental, world music...); extremely easy and user friendly to set up ! Great portability ! Totally satisfied;
I first fell in love with the retro look which took me back in time. Pairing this speaker with my devices was incredibly easy as well, and most importantly the sound is phenomenal! By the way, build quality is impressive to boot. A very worthwhile addition to my home..
Tough call on how to rate this because I am not a bass freak. I like bass- but sometimes the bass level of a speaker can be a bit unnatural. This unit is right on the border- for me. If you love bass, buy this....the overall sound profile is great- makes the JBL Charge 3 sound like a drive-in speaker (slight exaggeration). Very good volume- great Bluetooth connectivity and battery life- so far- maybe better than they represent. For my taste, it's a bit too much bass- but the mid range and presence is compelling. I will keep it- because lets face it- given the price- perhaps perfection from my point of view, is not reasonable. Have not heard the B & O unit that is about $500.00- but have listened to many other Bluetooth speakers. It is big sound from a small space and relatively small price. BTW- it looks awesome!!
Pros: Compelling stage presence Great sound Awesome look Great volume
Cons: Some will feel that the bass is a bit heavy.
Sounds great with klipsch quality. I had purchased a UE boom Bluetooth speaker two years ago and have enjoyed their sound and they are great outdoors; however, for an indoor speaker these just rock. They are studio quality and will fill a room. On top of that they look wonderful.
Pros: Sound, looks,Klipsch quality
Love this little speaker! Easy to set up and awesome, portable sound. Looks great!
By far the best sounding rechargeable bluetooth speaker available. I own this and The Three model. Both have outstanding sound. I've owned several high end systems since the early 1980's, and these will leave you not needing a full blown rack system. If you must have a CD or turntable you can add one to this using the aux in jack on the back and a 3.5 mm mini to male RCA cable, along with a phono pre-amp for turntable.
Pros: Full beautiful sound.
Very good sound.
Just used this speaker for an outdoor cocktail party. It looks great, is simple to connect via Bluetooth and even at the highest volume, the sound quality is fantastic!
Pros: Simple one step connect!
Simply the best sounding battery powered Bluetooth speaker I've heard. I also own an Outcast by Soundcast, which can reach higher volumes, but for pure musical sound "The One" by Klipsch delivers. No need to EQ the speaker, as flat response works perfect.
Pros: Musical Sound, Long Battery Life, Beautiful Construction, Deep Rich Bass, Portability.
This speaker has great sound and looks great also. You will love the sound from this unit compared to other Bluetooth speakers.
Pros: Almost everything about this speaker is better that any other speaker that is portable. You should spend money on one great speaker other than on two smaller ones. The sound of this one speaker is better that two flip speakers. I have both types. The One byKlipsch
Cons: Instructions are not very detailed, but can figure it out with not any trouble.
Easy set up. Charge it up and enjoy.
Pros: Easy to set up, charge lasts about 8 hours.
Cons: It is large, but considering what's inside you won't be disappointed. I would say it's more of a On the counter portable speaker. I also used it outside and had the across the street neighbor inquire.
I've thrown a wide variety of genres at this one and it is indeed THE ONE. The black ash color almost perfectly matches similar colored dark cherry furniture around the house, which is a nice plus. Very complete, balanced sound. From the heaviest of heavy, to softest of softest sounds, this thing continues to knock it out of the park. Piano keys sound great, electric guitars are nice and crunchy, bass is tight and punchy. I'm really particular these days when it comes to sound and this bluetooth speaker met my expectations. To give you a point of reference, the two headphones I wear on a regular basis are Grado SR 80e and Audio Technica ATH-m50x. I also take this in the shower with me (fits nicely on top of medicine cabinet), and needless to say, my mornings are off to a better start.
Pros: Gorgeous looks, superior sound, portable
Great sound for the price.
Pros: No equalizer needed. Great style.
Cons: No equalizer.
Sounds great !
First off this is a nice looking addition to the house. Connects easily to Bluetooth devices and the sound is fantastic. Replaced an old wireless Bose with this and like this much better. Haven't noticed any distortion issues at higher volumes and have run it through the ringer with music ranging from heavy metal to the "Trolls" soundtrack for the little one. It's a tad bulky in the portability aspect so it's not as easy to grab with one hand and move outside or to another room. Overall IMO this is a fantastic solution to having portable music at a very reasonable price.
Pros: Looks great. Sounds great. Easy Bluetooth connectivity.
Cons: Tad bulky but by no means let that keep you from buying it.
I had a Jawbone Big Jambox bluetooth speaker but was never really happy with it. One of the biggest issues was background noise. Having been a long-time Klipsch customer I decided to try out their new bluetooth unit - 'The One.' I was and am amazed by the sound from this small system. Clear highs, massive bass, faithful midshipmen's - it pretty much has it all in a beautiful package. I got the Heritage walnut finish - excellent workmanship, as per Klipsch standards. Haven't used it for any extended period on battery, so I can't make any observations there, but seems to work fine. Highly recommended.
Pros: Full sound stage, Great reproduction
Cons: Could use a carry bag of some sort.
Bought this as a gift for my girlfriend and let me say that we were blown away by the sound. In small to medium sized rooms this speaker will excell. We played a variety of genres and artists; from Beach Fossils to The Weeknd to Radiohead to Kendrick Lamar. No matter the song audio quality was superb with a surprising amount of bass from a relatively compact speaker. I would say the speaker is portable but not easy to manage. Its hefty at I believe over 8 pounds and does not possesses a strap or handle to carry it, which makes it a two arm job (or one if you aren't afraid of dropping it) to carry. All in all, seemed to be an excellent gift.
Pros: Stylish, Loud, Surprising Clarity and Bass output
Cons: Heavy, Not too portable
Great sound. Replaced a Sony SRSX55 that would choke on heavy bass. The Klipsch "The One" sounds much closer to my Deep Blue II than the small Sony. Bass is tight and punchy, mids are good and highs are Klipsch like in that they are slightly forward or bright, which is a good thing when listening to compressed music over BT. BT connects almost instantly, everything functions perfectly. Great looking. I keep it in my kitchen and it fits in very well. 4 stars for putting form over function. It's a portable BT speaker with a battery so it made to be moved around. But the retro controls, while looking cool, are not great. The on/off toggle is the first thing that is going to break off with a slight bump or drop. The volume control should have a min and max. It would be nice to know the volume setting of the speaker. It's portable but there is no handle, no easy way to carry it. There should be some type of strap like on the similar sized Marshall. Overall the sound is really good for its size.
Pros: Sound and looks.
Cons: Retro controls are not super functional. No carry strap.
very good sound quality, particularly given the size. Class leader. Klipsch has clearly focused on the quality of the amplifier here (note the weight of this product compared to competitors in class), and the old-school finish is a delightful departure from other offerings. In terms of relative output, this little unit will completely fill a small (12 x 12) room with sound, and hold it's own in even larger-sized rooms. If you put this in your spare bedroom, expect your guests to delightfully rock out.
Pros: strong, balanced amplifier, good value for money.
Cons: none worth noting
Amazing! Highly recommend. The best sound I've found in a bluetooth speaker at this price.
Bought this for my daughter's Christmas present instead of Bose sound touch 20. Wow am I glad I did can't say enough about quality and fullness of sound. Great purchase.
Pros: Awesome sound.

Mostly because it seemed like the best option for our situation. Bigger than the little "toy" bluetooth speakers, and the styling seemed appropriate for our decorating. Plus the Klipsch reputation for good sounding speakers. [ Lisa Mar 01, 2017 ]
I have always enjoyed the full sound of Klipsch. And they have always been top of the lists for sub-woofers. And this speaker meets my needs of mating my iPhone/iPad by wire. [ MELINDA A Jul 04, 2018 ]

According to the spectrum app on my phone it's pretty solid to 50hz with output into the mid 40s but it seems to fall off around 50hz. This is really good for the size of the box and driver. [ GENE A Nov 17, 2017 ]

NO, THE POWER CORD PLUGS IN THE BACK FOR CHARGEING OR CAN BE LEFT IN TO KEEP A FULL CHARGE. YOU CAN TAKE THE UNIT OUTSIDE, ON A BACK DECK TO LISTEN TO MUSIC WITHOUT BEING PLUGGED IN. I'VE HAD MINE FOR A LITTLE OVER A MONTH NOW AND LIKE IT VERY MUCH. THE SOUND QUALITY IS QUITE NICE FOR SUCH A SMALL UNIT. I'D BUY IT AGAIN IN A HEARTBEAT....I'VE ALWAYS LIKED KLIPSCH PRODUCTS. The Klipsch speaker I purchased is not what I consider an outdoor speaker. I use my iPhone and iheart for my Bluetooth and it works very well and has a great sound [ Buck Mar 14, 2017 ]
Since it is winter here, I have only used it indoors. It seems to have about a 30 foot range to an IPhone inside. [ shawn Mar 14, 2017 ]
ED this is not and outdoor specker but the signal works very well anywhere in the house ,the sound is great. P.s. I never took it out side. Ronnie [ RONALD C Mar 13, 2017 ]
