Wonderful Sound

Mark from Boise, ID on 3/12/2018

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

This was a new CD player after my old 5 disk SONY finally quit. I had purchased it in 1998, so it was a bit dated. I do not have top of the line speakers or amp, but I noticed crisp, deep sounds when I played my first CD. It had a depth to it that I had not had before. It is easy to use, given the very few controls on the front. This thing does not mess around, it just plays CD wonderfully. My two daughters were less impressed with the sound quality, but were very happy that I can play, "Let It Go" again on my stereo. I almost had the lyrics out of my head. So, thanks NAD.......

Pros: Value Simplicity Sound controls

Cons: You want to buy better quality components.

Hooked up to my NAD7000 and a pair of Wharfedale Dovedale 3 speakers from 1975 (made in Bradford, England!) the reproduction is great. Nice unit and way clearer than the cheap CD/DVD player i had connected temporarily

Worth it

Will from Marlton, NJ on 2/9/2018

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

Already had this model running with my Marantz setup and for the price bought a second unit to go with my stereo in my den. Couldn't be happier with my NAD CD players. Solid design and love the simplicity. Was hesitant about getting a factory recertified, but it's Crutchfield and it looked brand new and untouched. Player sounded great and played my disks straight through with no issues. Love it.

Pros: Sounds great. Love the simplicity.

Cons: none

Great budget CD player. Max bang for the buck! Works flawlessly and sounds excellent. Straightforward, clean front panel with sensible layout. Immediate sound improvement with a solid bottom end, clear accurate mids and highs along with a good soundstage. Expect longevity as I have had a NAD receiver that is still working and sounding perfect for over 20 years!

Pros: Balanced sound, Quality reliable company
